Another Christmas Card

It's been really some time since I did a card which was not for any DT, so today I decided I really wanted to have a play with this darling stamp that I had bought quite some time ago, and which errrmmm.... I have never used yet.. and so I did another Christmas card today.

The image is called Eira from the Sweet November stamps ... and am I not lucky this week, woo hoo I was one of Amy's lucky candy winners yesterday and won the sweet Emaline :) Woo hoo Thank you Amy,  I am so excited, she is so darn cute :) 


Quite a simple card today.. don't have any Christmassy dies ... I really must get me some .... ... 

I coloured Eira with my promarkers, added some glitter today, stamped some snowflakes all around the image  ... 


.. and used the colours from this picture for my inspiration.

Thank you for looking today. We are off to the airport today as our youngest son is coming back from Austria. He already warned me not to make a fuss in front of his mates he he .. but I am so excited. Well, so I told him I'll make the fuss in the car!

    So pretty! I really need to start some Christmas cards my self and break out some glitter. I don't think I would be able to help myself, I would be fussing all over my son too, lol!

    Hi! Dora....gorgeous image and so beautifully coloured, I love the inspiration photo, I can see us sitting there having a chin wag!!

    Love your card, simple[to you] maybe, but really pretty, lovely soft colours.

    This is Stunning! I love the way you colored her skirt and stamped the snowflakes as a border. Also love the bit of embossing peeking out. Love both ideas and will have to remember them.

    This is a beautiful card Dora, love those cool colours and it goes so well with the photo. bet you do give him a compulsive hug, my kiddies are still too young to do trips on their own, but they grow up so fast, it will be a blink of an eye and they will be away. hugs to you Heidi x

    Hi Dora, thank you for the lovely comments you left for me at my blog. Did not know Gladiator ws filmed in Malta. I have a film book at home Halliwells directory, we call it "The Bible" (LOL) and whatever I want to know I go get it and read all about it, but the Malta filming is not in it so thanks for that. I love my films, just a film nutter, and can watch stuff over and over again. Hubby said "Why you watching this on tv, when you have the upgraded version on blue ray!!!!!
    Thats me all over!
