I'm Back and my Candy Winner as well

Hellooo I'm back, yes and I also have my candy winner ...Well finally you say! Sorry I've been away for so long but I've been away on an aeroplane ..

.. and we went to the Veneto region in Italy, staying in Treviso and also for one night at the Dolomites as well. Woo hoo yes we did, me and hubby with our friends. Had a great time, visiting lots of places, first of which was of course the beautiful Venice going on the gondola

and to St Mark Square

The next day we visited Padua

and the following day we went to Verona, where we went to see Romeo and Juliet's place.

Monday we travelled all the way up to Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Queen of the Dolomites and stayed for one night here. It was raining when we arrived

.. but not the next day... 

 ...beautiful sunny weather and so we headed off for a panoramic walk in the country.

At the hotel now, having a lovely meal with our friends.

 

 The last two days.. so quick ..

Wednesday we went to Bassano del Grappa.

A very beautiful place, had never heard of it before.

I really loved it here as well.

And for our final day, Thursday morning we went to Conegliano, which was very close to Treviso, just 20 mins by train. Here we walked all the way up to a castle and then enjoyed some time strolling around the place.

One last photo in Treviso before we left to board the plane back home, arriving in Malta at 7.00pm.

And that was it, a lovely relaxing holiday, which we all really needed.

I've got lots of catching up to do now, one of which is of course my candy winner..
