An Oldie but A Goodie

It is cloudy and really windy here today .. even the little windmill in my backyard, which I brought with me from Amsterdam two weeks ago was turning round .. .. must still post some photos.. 

and it's getting cooler as well after it rained yesterday and the day before. Definitely not a day to go to the beach .. It looks like it's seen the last of us for this year, I even got some blankets out!
These are my kids this Summer enjoying themselves diving... not me .. I don't dive .. wish I did!!

Well, so, with this weather, we just stayed indoors.. hubby headed off to his garage, kids found something to do.. and me ... big smile .. in my craft room... where else yay :)

Seeing this week's challenge at Lily Of The Valley, LET IT SNOW, and not having.. yet... one of their newest gorgeous Christmas stamps to play along, I remembered one of my oldie stamps from LOTV which I hadn't used for such a long time and which I had bought before I even started blogging! I thought it would still be perfect, even though an oldie and retired as well!

So after checking out some challenges, I found me some purple based penguin papers which were perfect for two challenges I found .. and of course the embossing snowflakes and Spellbinders die-cut snowflake for the Let It Snow.. Today I decided to keep the cuts attached to the big snowflake, not pop them off. I like how they looked on this shiny silvery card.

    I agree Dora, I like the way the die cut snowflakes look without popping out the detail part. Love this little LOTV, have not seen it before, but it looks brilliant and all your colours look great together. hugs heidi x

    The weather has changed here too, boo hoo. I was not born to be in the cold Lol

    Your sons looked like they were having great fun. I could not sea dive either, but hubby would love to do it.
