Fancy Fold

I am so late with my card today. The weather has been dull and cloudy for these last few days, raining a bit as well, and I thought I would wait for the sun to come out so that I could take a decent picture of my card. I did use my daylight light to take a photo inside, but not having one of those boxes, I just wasn't that pleased still!

Anyway, sun still not out, but not that bad today, and anyway again, can't let it any longer... so here is my card, and it is my DT card for this week's new challenge Crafty Sentiments.

The theme for today is FANCY FOLD CARDS with a twist... NO EASEL CARDS. I made a tent card for mine ...

.. and used this darling rubber stamp, Primrose Taking A Break, from the Autumn Collection.

I coloured my stamp with promarkers, flowers are from stash, leaves punch Martha Stewart, butterfly XCut and papers were a freebie gift in a magazine. On the papers I stamped some leaves today, using a four-sided block rubber stamp from Stampendous. Had this for ages, but it's the first time I am using it! 

 Today had lotsa fun cutting out lots of grass with my Die-Namics die. In fact on the front there are four layers and on the inside quite a few more.

The lovely clear stamp sentiment is also from Crafty Sentiments as is the wonderful Vintage Label Die, which I distressed with my NEW Tim Holtz distressing inks that I bought... first three I have.. been wanting to get me some of these and finally got the courage to try them out.. Having so much fun experimenting with them now :)

    Cute! Good twist.....no easle cards. When you hear fancy fold you automatically think Easle Card! this is a tricky one for sure!!! yay!! That sentiment is great!
