Strike

It is hubby's birthday next month and I still hadn't even given a thought to this and so, like last year, was probably going to leave it to the last minute ... but lucky me, while blog hopping around last week, I came across a fantastic image at Pinky's, which was just perfect for him as he is an avid bowler. Well, I just had to do it straight away, him being abroad at the moment was the perfect time to do it.

The image is from The Crafty Pad, paper from We R Memory Keepers paper pad, which was free in the magazine Simply Cards & Papercraft and stars are Die-Namics. I did the 'STRIKE' word on a Word Document and then coloured it with my promarkers. The Happy Birthday one is a clear stamp.

A close-up of the image, which I printed an extra three times and had so much fun cutting it and layering it up for dimension.

Wow.. so I'm nearly a month early with his card this year yay : D

I am entering my card in these challenges today
The Crafty Pad 154 - LET'S SEE SOMETHING FOR THE BOYS
Birthday Sundaes 40 - A BIRTHDAY CARD
Simon Says Challenge - ANYTHING GOES

Thank you for looking today

xx

  24. Wow this is fantastic! Love all the texture and dimension. Great colors! Your hubby will love it. I'm always early making my cards but always late mailing them. I usually put out Jim's card so it's the first thing he sees in the AM, last year I forgot so he had to wait till I got up.
