Halloween

Hi everyone. Good afternoon. I've finally finished the photo books I was doing this weekend and yesterday as well.. four of them yay I am pleased, even though I stayed up till 3am yesterday to do them! Am so looking forward to receive them now..

Well, it's Tuesday today, so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments.... yes you are reading right, because as from this week our challenges will be on Tuesdays instead of Thursdays. 

Today at the store we have a fab new Halloween themed digi being released, so of course we had to have a HALLOWEEN theme today. Her name is Annabel, I think she is so cute even though she is trying to be spooky.

This is my second Halloween card that I ever did, we don't send out Halloween cards here in Malta... so I  was really lucky to find me some digi papers stored in my computer. I coloured Annabel with my promarkers, the border punch is Fiskars and again I used my Marianne Design doily die.

Some flowers today as well, thought they matched so well. I don't know why I don't use these type of flowers more often on my cards....

...really loved how my Halloween card turned out today.. ... which reminds me that I still haven't thought of what to wear for Halloween. I always go to a Halloween party with my friends and hubby!!!

A Sketch with Stamp Fairy

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend. Mine was great and and not so very great... Saturday had time to craft, some housework of course and then in the evening we went to a music festival - The Rockestra. This is held yearly in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund to raise funds for the needy. 

First time I went and it was great, loved it. Definitely will be going again.

Sunday however was not as good, spent all day long up late well after midnight doing photobooks, so got really tired, and I still didn't manage to finish.. . ...  

Anyways, no more of that.. it's Monday again and so time for another challenge at Stamp Fairy. The theme for this week is to follow a sketch. For my card today I used Lenny Get Well Soon digi image. .. aww he is so cute.

The sentiment is also from Stamp Fairy and it is a freebie. Papers were a magazine freebie .. I used two border punches today, one Fiskars, one Martha Stewart; and I also used one of my Marianne Design dies, the doily, which this time I used it as a frame.

Use a Digi with OSAAT

I didn't go to the beach today with my family because I want to finish off some photo books, one of them I had started a long time ago for our holiday in New Zealand that we went in errmmm 2009!!! If I don't do this I will never do it, and of course, I still have to do last year's and the year before etc etc etc... 

So having a quickie post today as want to try to finish them off ALL today to avail myself of some good Labour Day Discount Shutterfly are having yay !!

.. and a quickie card too I did. This is my OSAAT DT Card for this week's challenge to USE A DIGI. 

For my card I was lucky to get to choose from one of Jessica's lovely digis and this immediately caught my eye. As soon as I saw it I immediately thought of Mother's Day and so a Mother's Day card I did. I coloured my image with my promarkers and popped up some of the petals. The sentiment is computer generated with Scriptina Font. Loved how it turned out.

Anything but Birthdays

I have made quite a few Christmas Cards already this year, not sure how many .. he he lazy me don't feel like adding them up  ..  but quite a good number I'm sure....

This one today I did it for this week's new challenge at Sweet Stampin' as the theme for this week is ANYTHING BUT BIRTHDAYS... of course I did another Christmas card to add to my pile.

We DT girls were so lucky this week we could choose a digi from our month sponsor Heather Ellis and I chose this sweet Mr Snowman stamp, so cute and so easy to colour.

I decided to go for the traditional Christmas colours for my card this time... wanted to use these papers that I had for quite some time... even the Christmas tree, had that for a loooong time.. ... yep I'm digging deep into my stash and finding lots of  nice goodies he he

Let's Go Shopping

The theme for this week at Just Wordz is ANYTHING..... and a TAG...... What did I do ???  ANYTHING but forgot the TAG!!! Aaarrggh .. I hate it when this happens!!! I really have to organise myself a bit more....

Anyway, I still thought I could show you what I did...

I used one of my Martha Stewart border punches today, another small flower punch, and a Marianne Design Doily Die. Of course.. no tag, but well the sentiment could have been easily stamped on a tag. 

Some lovely sparkly and so shiny bubble stickers today on my card, which I've had for ages.

And a sweet Let's Go Shopping digi stamp. 

This stamp is one of many digi stamps that are being sold to raise funds for Lyndall, who is battling cancer. Go here if you would like to help.

Welcome Baby

This week I had to make another baby card for my colleague who just had her first baby...  This time the card is from all of us at the office and they wanted me to make it with the baby's photo. 

I'm not so keen on making cards with photos, as I don't get to colour in any images, but this time I found a way to do this.. ...

..by adding this cute Pink Gem Giraffe stamp. Well it was a real hit, and everyone loved it, I was so pleased :)

I coloured my stamp with my promarkers, papers are from my DCWV Nana's Nursery paper pack, some doodling and card candy, followed this sketch..

.. and well.. that's it!
