Summer

Good evening everyone.... so late with my post this week! This weekend we were at our Summer residence in Qawra so were quite busy with the packing, unpacking and setting up of all, but as always, it is worth the hassle.

Anyway, back onto my DT Card for this week at

I ♥ Promarkers 

and the theme this week is

SUMMER

.. my favourite season :)

For this week, to make our card, we were so lucky again to be able to choose a digi image from our sponsor Stitchy Bear Digital Images and I chose this beautiful image Spring Meadow. I thought it would be perfect for our theme, even though it's name doesn't mention Summer.. and so for a Summer theme I added the sun rays which I did using yellow ink and my clear stamp from Some Odd Girl.

The background DP is from my Me & My Big Ideas Paperpack and there are two different leaves dies, the butterfly punch from MS, the clouds dies and banners as well. I really love how it turned out. 

The prize from our sponsor for this week is a $10 voucher to spend in the store.

Now I got some really great news .... it must have been my lucky week .. as first I found out that I did the Top 3 with my Father's Day card at the Mod Squad Challenge :) 

and then I also found out that I won a gift voucher from Doodle Pantry at Creative Knockouts with the same card :) He he so fun.. it's been such a long time :)

Not Quite Straight

I'm so late with my card today! I've been having such a busy time this week that I didn't manage to make it in time! Lot's going on as we have a family wedding tomorrow morning and so was busy with last minute shopping and preparations, my brother, who is on holiday here from Australia, is staying with us, there are also our aunt, cousin and his wife from USA who came over for the wedding and also my son is sitting for his O Level exams, so I'm the one taking him for these! Phew!! Even writing them down is making me tired !!!

Anyway, is my card for today which I made for the new challenge that started today at

The theme for this week is

NOT QUITE STRAIGHT

I wasn't really sure what to do to tell you the truth, and being so busy, my mojo just wasn't helping at all! For my card I decided to use this darling image Uh Oh from one of our sponsors this week, Stitchy Bear Stamps.

Anything Goes

Good morning everyone. I hope you are fine and having a good week. My younger son has just started his 'O' Levels and so I'm busy with lots of taxi driving. He says he is doing ok, so fingers crossed he is really doing ok!

Anyway, today is the start of a new challenge at

I ♥ Promarkers 

and the theme for this week is

ANYTHING GOES

While doing this card I was completely alone at home... hubby had decided to go out with his friends to watch football, both sons were not here, so I was all alone... and this is when I really enjoy myself ....  pure bliss :) 

To make my card I used an image from one of our sponsor for this week, Stitchy Bear Stamps. Colored it with my promarkers, DP were magazine freebies, die cuts, sentiment stamp from Simon Says and two pearls to finish it off.

Lace and/or Pearls

Hello, good evening everyone.. or should I say good night :P.. I'm back from Rome and back to blogland but still haven't settled well as so busy and of course I'm so late with my card today. So, a quick post for today as it's nearly midnight but wanted to post my DT card for today's new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers before I head off for bed!

LACE and / or PEARLS

Lucky for me it was either or, or both as I made this card in a jiff and all I could add were just two pearls. The image that I used, which of course I coloured with my promarkers, is from one of our sponsor

Sparkles

This week, at One Stitch At A Time there was a DT Call and well, I decided to have a go. We got this gorgeous new stamp, Sparkles, to play with and this is what I did...



I did add sparkles.. on her wings, on the bottom part of her dress and on her hair but it doesn't show much I'm afraid.. will take a better picture tomorrow in the sunlight.

Flip Flops

With Summer round the corner, and all these fun summery challenges, I decided to use my gorgeous Flip Flops stamp which I had bought last month!



I coloured her with my promarkers and then cut round her and used foam to pop her up and for more dimension I used some more foam under the centred rectangle and the tree and the pink flip flops as well. Hope you like it! The summery flowers were a free gift in an issue of the Quick Cards magazine.
