Autumn Colors

Hello everyone and a happy weekend to all. We are having beautiful warm sunny weather at the moment in Malta, just like Summer, and so I'm very happy because we got work related team activities on the beach, just the perfect weather :)

We will soon be on our way, so sharing my DT card for the new challenge that started today at 

Crafty Friends Challenge

The theme this time is AUTUMN COLORS

For this challenge I was so lucky to choose an image from one of our sponsors and I chose this gorgeous image, Rain Boot Bugs from Bugaboo. I have of course colored it with my promarkers and then added beautiful DP from magazines and die cuts and a sentiment and a large bow to finish it off. Really pleased with how it turned out.

Fancy Folds

For me it is always so difficult to craft in Summer and with hubby on vacation leave, I didn't even manage to make a card last week!!! .. But not this time, as I'm on vacation leave too, so it was easier to find some time to spend in my craft room to make my DT Card for this week.

is FANCY FOLDS

I don't do much these type of fancy fold cards and then I always tend to do the easel, but this time I decided to try something different and so I did the Gatefold card instead. I had done this type of card only once before so it felt really good doing it again, and it was quite easy too.

 

The image that I used is from Bugaboo stamps, colored it with my promarkers, and the papers, which I've had for a very very long time, are from Trimcraft. I just added card candy, the sentiment and twine to my card and that's it! I thought it was too full already with the lovely papers. I did try to add something more, but just couldn't!

A Hen's Party

It's officially Summer and today we're heading off to Gozo for the weekend .. just the two of us he he  just me and hubby :) .. of course the boys will still be on my mind as I get worried that they will stay up late and would just stay hooked to the computer but at least it's just that.. they're good boys..

Anyway, I thought I would do some blogging and share this fun card that I made before we go.

 

The image, I'm sure you noticed is from Bugaboo, background paper is Bearly Mine and the city die is Memory Box. Colored image with my promarkers and then put glossy accents on the glasses and wine bottles to finish it off.

I really love how it turned out :)

Hello everyone, hope you are having a nice day :) .. as for me ... I've just returned from work and remembered that I still had to check my credit card accounts, which is what I did!!! only to find out that I had a twice late payment fee plus interest of course!!!! grrrr I hate this ... well, definitely not a good week as MIL was also taken to hospital this week and she is still there! Doctors say it's nothing serious but still not nice on an 80 year old. Besides that, next week we have a family wedding, so we're hoping she'll be out by then.

Anyway, it's Wednesday today, so time for a new challenge at

Birthdays

Hello good morning everyone. I took the day off today just to do some housework as house looks like a bomb fell on it!! ha ha ... :P  but really.. I haven't been having much time lately since I started training for the Half Marathon so I decided to take it off today just for this and hopefully some crafting ..

Snowmen Trio

I had a crafty weekend for a change and my mojo seemed to come back for a while, managing to make me some Christmas cards!! ... This is one of them and for this card I used this fun image from Bugaboo that I had won some time ago from the challenge at Savvy's yay :) thanks

The background paper is a digi one, the snowflakes are new dies which I bought some time ago, but first time using them!!! and the Christmas Tree die was a freebie in a magazine. I cut out the pot myself from gold card and then embossed the top of it! 

I have of course colored the image with my promarkers and finished off the card with some gold trimmed ribbon and peel off sentiment. It was quick and I really enjoyed making it :)

Dies / Punches

Good morning everyone. How's your week going? ... hope not like mine. Yes me am not too good unfortunately as got a bad cold :(  I didn't go to work these last two days too and with hubby abroad till  the end of next week, it's not that fun at all! I am now really hoping that I will be fine by next Wednesday as we have our annual cocktail party on that day and I love going. Still don't know what to wear though as was going to find me a dress today, and not yet fit to go out!

Anyway, here is my card for today and it's my DT card for the new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. This week our theme is DIES AND/OR PUNCHES.

For my card this week I decided to use this fun digi image from Bugaboo Stamps which was one of the stamps I had chosen when I had won some time ago. I thought it was perfect for a card that I had to do. I coloured her with my promarkers, the background paper was in a magazine freebie, and the dies I used are the Spellbinders circle, Die-Namics stars and numbers and the skyline border from Memory Box.

What's Cooking/ Something to Eat

Good morning everyone ...  It's the weekend and I'm pretty sure everyone is happy about this :) I am, more so because soon I'll be going off to my fave shop as they have a 25% discount on their new Winter collection yay. Hope I'll find me something nice.

Anyway, as it's Saturday it's also time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin. The theme for this week is What's Cooking/ Something to Eat.

I didn't know what to do at first and so when last week I won me seven digis from Bugaboo stamps, I immediately thought about this card that I had to do and this is one of the images that I picked. I thought he was so cute and fun. I coloured him with my promarkers, papers are Papermania and border punch is Fiskars. Can't wait to use the others that I picked up.

Top Tip Tuesday

So I'm back, hello again. Today as I said I have another post with of course another card and this time my card is for the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge Blog as lucky me I am their Guest Designer for their next two challenges. Woo hooo how fun :D .. and so a fun card I made .. a little bright too...

The theme for this fortnight at Top Tip Tuesday is Independence Day or Stars and/or Stripes. I have of course decided to use Stars and Stripes since we don't celebrate Independence Day here ... and I was also so lucky to get this gorgeous image from Bugaboo Stamps as they are the sponsors for this week. I just loved it as soon as I saw it... so fun. I coloured the image with my promarkers choosing the colours from the papers.. and that's my TIP... choose paper first and then use colours from the paper to colour the image.. hope you like it!

And did you like my yellow car?? I don't think I ever saw a yellow car!!! did you? well if you didn't you've seen one now ha ha

Moon and Stars

Hello everyone, good afternoon. It's a nice sunny day here today for a change.. we haven't been having nice weather lately, windy, some rain and cooler as well.. but now it seems it will be nice again.

Anyway, I am here today with my DT card for the new challenge at Sweet Stampin and this week we want to see MOON and STARS

I loved making this card as it was a nice break from the busy days I am going through at the moment.. and so quick it was too..  coloured image while waiting for son to finish football, had all the digi papers printed and then I punched some stars to finish it off!

By the way, my moon is the green paper.. if you look closely you can see the craters of the moon surface ... you weren't thinking that I left the moon out were you ?? :D

FRIENDS WITH JUST WORDZ

Hello, good afternoon, it's again that time of the week when I get to post my card using the wonderful mix and match Just Wordz stamps! The theme for this week is FRIENDS and this is what I did for the sentiment using the stamps ........

and my card. 

Quite a lot going on my card today I think, ha ha am I finally changing?? The image is from one of my Bugaboo Stamps, which I coloured with my promarkers, thought it was just perfect for this week's theme, paper is from a Daisy and Dandelion paper pack ...

... and this is a butterfly stamp that I'm using for the first time. It's not new, I had bought it when I went to USA two years ago but somehow it got lost in a bag and totally forgot I had it, and so had never used it. I am so glad I found it now, I think it's quite nice.

Let's Party

I had a stroke of good luck last week ... forgetting my car accident of course.... and won me 7 Bugaboo digi stamps from the Creative Craft World Challenge and yesterday found out as well that I won some fantastic hAnglar rubber stamps from Debby woo hoo so exciting, thank you Debby .. .. don't have any of these hAnglar stamps ..

.. Must be my birthday that is bringing me all this good luck .. I'm taking the day off tomorrow, not going anywhere though during the day as my son is studying for his O Levels and didn't feel it right to go out while he is at home studying.. well I know for sure I am going to still enjoy myself.. doing what?  ha ha you guessed... can't wait :)

Football

This week I was asked to make two cards by two colleagues of mine. They were for their sons, yes male cards again, but at least the younger version now and so not so hard.

This is the first one. She said he likes this footballer Messi. Who ?? I said !!! Yes, you guessed it, I'm not a football fan!!! My kids found me his photo from the internet and guided me on the colours to choose...and this is as far as I can manage to get them to join me in my crafting!!!

Anyways, she wanted this guy on the card....aww no stamp I thought ... but then I thought about my Bugaboo Soccer Boy stamp I had and well, this is what I came up with. . . . and she loved it.. . hope he will too!



The Soccer Boy I coloured him with my promarkers and the background papers I did that myself on a word document. I also managed to find me some challenges for my card too :) Woo hoo :)

This is the second card... no challenges or stamps for this one though.. but I thought I'd share just the same as I really enjoyed making it and think it came out ok too. These are Pokemon. My kids when they were younger used to love them too, but now that they are growing up, they are more into football, music and computers. The background image I found it on the internet and then I added the stars from the MS border punch which I also added at the bottom. Hope he'll like it!

More Challenges :)

Today I decided I wanted to add my promarkers and tick them off in the colour chart ... well, I got 46 !!! Wow, this is great, from the first set of 12 that I bought just last year! I still got way to go to get the whole set of 148, but hey this is part of the fun to get some more new ones now and then. It won't be promarkers though for my birthday this year... I decided... more MS punches. Last time I had three in my wish-list but now it's four as now I want also a corner punch to go with the border punch that I won yesterday !!! he he :)

But on to my card for .. For today I'm using one of my Bugaboo Stamps. Last time I used the Scarlette in Bath for a Mother's Day card, and now I'm using the girl turtle from the Critter Set which I had so much fun colouring with my promarkers. I hope you like it.
