For my card I used Carl the Snowman, papers from stash, the sentiment from Crafty Sentiments, perfect match lovely ribbon from Amy and the gorgeous poinsettia die is Spellbinders.

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Don we now our gay apparel,
Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Troll the ancient Yule tide carol,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

See the blazing Yule before us,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Strike the harp and join the chorus.
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Follow me in merry measure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
While I tell of Yule tide treasure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

I'm so in the Christmas mood today. I've been singing this over and over again.
My little boy just couldn't stand me any longer ha ha

A recipe and a freebie

Ooops I am so late today to post my card! Am really busy at the moment with something that I am doing for next Saturday and some commissioned cards, that yesterday, being so tired, I had a very early night and totally forgot that I hadn't prepared my post for today!!

So here it is now.. a Christmas Card, and I made it for this week's new Crafty Sentiments Challenge. The theme for today is a recipe 1 RIBBON, 2 IMAGES, 3 PAPERS. I have to admit that I am not so good with using a lot of different papers, so I found this challenge quite a tough one ...

The two images that I used on my card are Christmas Fun and Sledging, I coloured them with my promarkers and the three papers were freebie ones in a magazine.

Now you really must head over to the Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog for more inspiration by my teamies and while you are there you can grab a really cute freebie ... just perfect for a Christmas Card.

I am entering my card in these challenges today.

Seeing Red

I am out all day today with hubby, from early morning, as we are taking part in a Treasure Hunt. I love these games, they are always so exciting.. wish we could win once he he .. there is a fab weekend break for the winning team. So wish us luck :)

My card today is for the new challenge at One Stitch At A Time and the theme for this week is SEEING RED. I got to choose from one of Stitchy's fabulous images this week and thought this digi image from the Adult range, Mean Girl, would be perfect for this theme.

I coloured my image with my promarkers, using my blender pen on her black boots and top today. Don't use the blender pen that much.. I should start using it more as I loved the effect it gives.

The sponsor for this week is our very own Stitchy Bear Store
so come and play with us for your chance to win some gorgeous digi stamps.

Good morning everyone. Hope you are having a good weekend. I have the usual housework and laundry to do today which unfortunately has to be done in between taking/ picking my boys to football, guitar and tennis, and also a visit to the hairdresser. I don't usually do the taxi driving on the weekends but I have to do it today as hubby is occupied with an activity at the parish church.......... !!

Anyway, I have a Christmas Card today which I am really pleased with and it's my DT Card for this week's new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. The theme for this week is PUNCHES AND DIES and we are sponsored by the lovely Pollycraft digi stamps.

For my card I got to play with the cute Chester, so you can see why I am so pleased .. .. he is adorable I think. I coloured him with my promarkers, papers from a freebie paper pack in a magazine, gorgeous ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and the snowflakes die, Spellbiners and a small stars punch as well.

Chester comes without the sentiment, so I printed this one for mine and then popped it up as well.

Glitter

Good morning ladies.. I feel really good today for a Monday .. .. must be because I had a long weekend and did lots of crafting. I really have to do this again he he

So, being Monday, it's Stamp Fairy time and we are in the second week of our GLITTER challenge. This time, for something different, I decided make a Baby Card.

I thought Toby Angel would be perfect for a baby card. I coloured Toby with my promarkers and then added glitter to his little wings. The background paper is also from Stamp Fairy, my dies are Spellbinders .. ..

expect for this one, which is from Crafty Sentiments. I love this die, as it's a great embellishment as well, and find it really useful when I sometimes don't know what to add to my card. Sentiment is also Crafty Sentiments.

Here is the latest release at Stamp Fairy - Little Tommy dressed as Santa.

And these are the challenges for my card

Christmas Trees

It is a really nice sunny day today, so different than yesterday when it was raining ..  I really felt like going out this morning, so off I went to Rabat for the Sunday market and then walked it to Mdina. Was really nice, so many tourists. Pity my boys didn't want to join me and hubby wanted to wash the cars and cook the Sunday lunch, it would have been much nicer.. we could have stayed out for lunch as well.

Anyway, this is a Christmas card that I was really inspired to do after I saw this week's last challenge at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long.

At first I had thought to emboss the background but then, wanting to use my new Marianne Creatables Christmas tree die that I had got from Lothian Crafts, I realised I wasn't going to do any stamping, so I stamped the background with some clear stamps that I had, and also embossed them with clear embossing powder as well.

Didn't make it as quick as if I had done embossing, but I really loved how it turned out. I also inked the trees with green ink, then added lots of glitter, and to finish them off added some silver die cuts for ornaments which I had saved after die-cutting some snowflakes with my Nestabilitis dies.. yay :)

This is the photo which inspired me from the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long Challenge

... and I found some other challenges too that fit my card.

Divas By Design 15 - MONOCHROMATIC
Lothian Crafts - CHRISTMAS

Thank you for looking today and a big welcome and thank you to my two new followers Liz and Zyelyn.
Hope you will love coming again.

Wishing you a lovely Sunday

Birthday Bash at Sweet Stampin'

I had a really good day yesterday.. I took the day off from work and spent most of it in my craft room he he . These last few weeks I was staying overtime nearly everyday, so I really needed this!

Anyway, here is my card for today and it's my DT card for this week's new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. All the girls are playing in this week as it's our 2nd Birthday, and the theme of course had to be BIRTHDAYS.

We have some fabulous sponsors this week, one of them being Saturated Canary, from which I was so lucky to get to choose my image.  I was so excited about this as I don't have any of these images.. so after lots of time I finally decided on this adorable Bunny The Magician digi image.

I coloured my image with my promarkers, added some frosting on her skirt and colouring her hair blue just for fun, papers are from a Me To You paperpack, sentiment and die are from Crafty Sentiments, who also happen to be one of our sponsors, and the leaves dies are Marianne Creatables.

I followed this sketch to do my card today.

These are my challenges for my card
Willow Sketchie - THE SKETCH
Paper Sundaes 95 - DIGI IMAGE
Delightful Sketches - BINGO (flowers, die-cuts, patterned paper)

and now finally these are all the fabulous sponsors for this week

More Wedding Cards

I've been working again on the Wedding cards for the big boss .. I managed to do another two now.

For something different I used white card this time and added some ribbon too. In both I used my new wood mounted rubber stamp which I got from SirStampalot.

This card I combined it with light blue card and touches of silver peel-offs...

and added some white organza ribbon and the hearts Marianne Creatables dies...

and this one I combined it with silver card, printed organza ribbon... and added my Marianne Creatables English Rose die and leaves.

Doesn't show much but I embossed the sentiment of both cards with silver ink and clear embossing powder.

I really loved how they turned out, me preferring the first one mostly...
In the meantime I also got their feedback, which was a bit disappointing unfortunately as they want them simpler... and want me to remove the rose, leaves and hearts!!!! aarrrgh ...
I really don't know what to say :( ?? !!

Anyway .. onto something else... I was this week babbling about my new uniform, I thought I would post a piccie of me now.. I'm sure you're curious to see... I'm wearing the pinafore here .. I luv this uniform.. so much smarter than the other one we had :)

Some challenges now for my cards

Lollipop Crafts 57 - EMBOSSING and NO DP
Make It Monday 63 - ANYTHING GOES

Glitter

Hello Happy Monday everyone. It's Stamp Fairy time today and the theme for this fortnight is to use GLITTER... .. I thought this was a really good theme to make me another Christmas card ....  really feeling I am not going to be late with my Christmas cards this year yay :)

For my card today I used the cute Donny Ice Skating digi stamp which I coloured with my promarkers and of course lots of glittered stuff.

When I was doing this card I challenged myself to use stash that I've had for a long time... I think I did a good job out of this because I used glittered peel-offs snowflakes and sentiment from Papermania, more peel-offs on the sides and the Sizzix embossing folder, all stuff which I had never used. I am so pleased with myself today :)

These are the latest releases at Stamp Fairy
along with the Friday freebie.

Black and White

Good morning everyone. Hope you are having a good Sunday. I'm home today altering my work uniform as didn't manage to do it yesterday.. so my craft room has been momentarily transformed back to a sewing room and my overlocker machine saw some light again and took its former place instead of my Sizzix .... It wasn't so pleased with me that I put her away and I took ages to adjust the tension aarrgh!!

Nearly there now, but have so many altering to do, putting up the hems of the trousers, skirt, pinafore and adjusting the pinafore from the widths and the waistcoat as well!! Luckily the jacket is ok.. I'll be looking forward to go to work tomorrow  :)  ..

Anyway, onto my card now. I have my One Stitch At A Time DT card today and the theme this week is BLACK & WHITE. I got to choose from one of Reece's Scrap Pieces lovely digis this time and I chose.. Shake Your Groove Thing. Yay so cute and fun :)

Not much colouring today with my promarkers, but I loved doing it, something different is always fun! I stamped the background with my Inkadinkadoo clear stamp set, Happy Birthday sentiment stamp Hero Arts, stars dies Die-Namics, white star brad Papermania and lovely ribbon from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.

We are this week sponsored by the Stamping Boutique
so come and play with us for your chance to win some lovely digis.

My challenges for today.
