Good morning everyone.... time for a new challenge and today it's a new challenge at 

I ♥ Promarkers

The theme for this week is a color combo of

PINK and BLUE

I have to admit that I really didn't know what to do at first, but finally this gorgeous digi came to my mind which I thought would be perfect for this color combo... and which card I am sure would come in handy.

I decided to do some paper piecing today on her clothes .. and added two buttons... what a rarity ha ha .. very rarely I add buttons on my cards or do paper piecing!

Hot Mama to be!

Hello, Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies out there. Yesterday my hubby gave me a nice bunch of flowers and my kids are going to cook me a pancake this morning he he I'm going to looove that  :)  

Thought I would post this card now, before I go to sleep, as not sure if I would be able to do it during the day and definitely didn't want to miss another day without making a post! Was again so busy on Saturday, not making cards though this time, but doing housework...... We had some awful windy weather this week, raining reddish sand, so everywhere was a real big mess... just had to do a big clean up!

Anyways, thought this card would be just perfect for today. It was one of the cards I was busy making this week. The stamp is one of the newest from Some Odd Girl and I just had to get it... so cute.

I coloured her with my promarkers, paper pieced her top, and I did the sentiment on the computer myself. To do the embossing I used my cuttlebug folder and not to leave part of the card without embossing, since the folder isn't square, I rerun the card from the other side and then hid the part where the swirls do not match, with the ribbon! Hope you like it.

What will it be?

Hello just been around doing some inspirational and fun blog hopping... love this :)  wish I had more time... Sorry if I missed anyone, but will surely catch up some time soon.  While doing this I always find that when the commenting form is set up to pop-up its so much much easier.. and so quicker.. to leave comments.. I love it that I can still see the card while commenting and that you can scroll down to the next post and leave another comment with just a click of a button... hint hint... So how's yours set up? hint hint ... 

Anyways I got a card today with some more embossing ... this is a card that I made for a friend colleague where I work who will be having her first baby. The sweet stamp is from Fresh Brewed Designs. Very simple card...

I made the sentiment with my computer, punched teddy bears, die cut, magazine freebie paper and MS punch for the border and that's it!!

Preggie Mommy again

Yes, I've used Preggie Mommy again :) I just really like her, the problem now is.. to whom am I going to give these cards !!! ? Anyway, I don't care, I'm just enjoying myself making all these cards and entering them in all these fab challenges!

So, this week I came across the Saturday Spotlight, where the challenge was to make a CAS card... meaning CLEAN AND SIMPLE card. Here the winner gets $10.00 shopping spree at Whimsie Doodles Stamps!... Did you see their newly released stamps???

Then I came across another challenge at Crafty Creations Challenges where we had to use just one colour; I used lilac. Wow, here the winner wins three of Heather’s Coffee Break digi images, I'd just love that... I got Preggie Mommy from there ....

And again, I came across Vee's Sketch Pad where I just loved the sketch, and wow again here... there's RUFFLES for the winner!!! And who's Ruffles... he's a little cute doggie clear stamp... co cute!

The background papers are from The Cutting Café’ Plum Polka Dots Set, which I lightened a little and I coloured Preggie Mommy with promarkers. As for the swirls I dug out my quilling tool and papers… luckily I remembered those as I really didn’t have any swirls!

When I saw her I just fell in love with her and I just had to use it. I only got it yesterday from Heather's Coffee Break but it will only be available in March or April, Heather isn't sure yet, so if you like her, I would suggest you keep a lookout at her shop here.

But you may be asking.. so how is it I got it?? Yep.. if you're asking this it means you didn't read my previous post he he !!! And this is why I like Challenges and Hops because sometimes you do win, not always, but this is part of the fun, taking part and sometimes winning. And this is what I am doing again today.

I am entering this card in the Papertake Weekly Challenge because this week they got a fabulous price from Simon Says Stamp. Woo Hoo a whooping $25 from Simon Stays Stamp! I'd love that!

Hope you like my card. I coloured the image with promarkers and I stamped the background with a daisy stamp in green ink and watercoloured them in yellow. I then sprayed the whole background lightly with green markers.
