3 Patterned Papers

What a sad day today for Malta ... this morning the famous Azure Window in Gozo has collapsed into the sea and is no longer there. There is not even a trace of it and it's like it never existed : (  

Experts had said that it will collapse in six or so years, so everyone is so shocked by this as we were not expecting it so soon! The Azure Window was one of the world's most famous landmarks attracting many tourists and also featured in many films, like the Clash of the Titans, Odyssey, The Count of Monte Cristo and also lately in the Game of Thrones! Nothing could have been done to avoid this unfortunately! That's me last year, so glad we went!

Anyway, I have a DT card to share today for the new challenge that started today at

The theme for this week is

 I can tell you it wasn't an easy one for me, in fact I think my card is not one of my best, but at least the image is really cute and makes up for this :) 

The image is Cupid Balloon Holder from our sponsor Eureka Stamps and I colored him with my promarkers. I used again my new sentiment die cuts and finished it off with a bow, three hearts embellishments and a corner die cut.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello everyone and a Happy Valentine's Day to all. I hope you had a nice day. Today we got chocolates and a red velvet cake at the office YUM :))  As for me and hubby we decided to stay home and so after work I cooked non stop to do something special and managed to do everything in time... even a dessert .. was so pleased ha ha :) 

Anyway, I thought I would share this last Valentine's Day card that I did for a little girl to give to her daddy. The image is from Digistamp Boutique, which lucky me, I had won some time ago. It's so cute I think :)

 I colored the image with my promarkers, and then added lots of die cuts. Quite a simple card.

Love and Romance

Good morning. So late with my card this week! So sorry. We've been going to see kitchens, floor tiles and bathrooms non stop and getting back so late at home that I just didn't manage to find time to post my DT card. We still haven't concluded anything yet, and I'm hoping to decide by next week, so hopefully will be ok again quick quick :) So, today being a public holiday here in Malta, as it's the feast of St Paul, I found some time finally. Well, better late than never :)

I have colored it with my promarkers, DP were free ones in a magazine, then of course hearts die cuts and other fun stuff to finish it off. The With Love sentiment is a new die which I just bought from EBay. Love how it turned out.

The Key to My Heart

Hello everyone. I hope you had a good weekend. I had a day off today because as I said previously today we got to sign the contract for our new home so had a very busy day too as after that we went there to take the water and electricity readings and then we went to meet a designer for our new kitchen and that took ages!!! Well a busy and exciting day! Got the keys now and so it's officially ours. Can't wait to start refurbishing it, obviously lots to do as want to change the tiles, change the bathrooms and have of course to buy the furniture. The boys both want the same room and I don't know how I am going to decide on this!!! Wow this blog recently has become like my diary now besides my blog to post my cards. ...

Some more exciting news now as yesterday received another reservation for our apartment, this time in April for seven nights, so extra extra happy :D

Anyway, so now it's time for a card. Don't usually post on a Monday but lately I've been having lots of crafty mojo and I made this card, so I had to share it. It must be because I am very happy that I bought lots of new dies he he  :) 

 With Valentine's Day just round the corner I just couldn't resist getting some Valentine's Day related dies. So here I have two new dies that I bought ... the Heart Breeze dies from Simon Says and the wordings from Brittannia Dies. This one comes with more words .. the With Love, To and 'sday to make the word Valentine's day. ... could you resist them ????

Hoo There

I must have had a bout of good mojo, as after posting my Crafty Friends Challenge DT Card and then doing some blog hopping, I wanted to make cards and off I went to my craft room and did another card... here it is...

The image, Hoo There, is so cute I think and it's from Pickled Pot Pourri. I colored it with my promarkers with about three or four different colors to try to create the owl's feathers.

The gorgeous background DP is from a BoBunny paperpack. Don't know about the one on the side though as found it with my other many printed DPs.

Lots of Love

Good morning everyone. Hope you are having a lovely week and the weather is nice wherever you are. At the moment we are having some very windy days over here in Malta, and cold ones too, so not much fun for me to do my running .. and I really can't miss out on this as the marathon is getting closer and closer, less than a month now! Getting excited about it, and so looking forward.

This week I didn't manage to make my DT card ... emm .. ha ha no not really :P .. that is not what happened. I did make a card but I mixed up completely the challenge so of course when I realised what happened it was just too late to make another one. 

Anyway, I thought I would upload a card that I made for Valentine's Day next week.... a very simple and quick one, but I think it came out really nice.

The background DP was in a magazine, and the die is from Simon Says. Then I added the bow and computer generated sentiment to finish it off.

Things with wings

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is ok. I'm still in pain unfortunately and missing Bokwa, Insanity and Crossfit classes... moan moan :(  .. all because of a ride I went on at a Luna Park last Friday. This ride just goes round and round very fast but three people stay in one seat and when it goes round everyone is squashed on the person sitting on the left.. which was ME.. the smallest of all !!! Doctor told me I have a bruised muscle and it would take me about two weeks to heal .. I really do hope I will heal faster than that!!

Anyway, it's Wednesday again and so time for a new challenge at

Another Valentine's Day card

Helloo everyone. Hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day yesterday..... I did :) Hubby first booked a table for lunch for us, leaving office earlier of course and then in the evening we went out again for dinner, but this time with friends! We really enjoyed it! So of course this evening we didn't go out and so while watching TV now I thought I would share the card I made for hubby for Valentine's Day.

A very simple and clean card, using again my hearts die which I had got from Simon Says ... my fave die at the moment.. and then the letters die.. all on an embossed white card!! Sometimes the simpler the better.

Love You So...

A nice sunny Sunday here today in Malta, a bit windy but ok and so, for a change, we decided to go out for lunch seeing that our older son is not working today. For a change as well..... I also didn't go out for my run today errrm I just didn't feel like it today :( !! Don't like missing as it's now less than two weeks to go for the marathon, but I will just make up for it next week... and anyway I should now be doing less running to not be tired for the day!

Anyway, I thought I would share this card I made seeing that Valentine's Day is just round the corner.

The image that I used was a freebie last year from Saturated Canary and I colored  her with my promarkers. I kept the card very clean and just used my new die from Simon Says, a sentiment stamp and three red pearls to finish it off.

Happy Valentine's Day

Awful weather, some time on my hands with lots of crafty mojo, I just spent some fun time in my craft room and this is what I came up with!

Another CAS style card, using one of my fave stamps from CC Designs. 

I colored the image with my promarkers, printed the sentiment on the computer.. some embossing and die cuts, and that's it! I loved how it turned out.

This is the nice sketch from Less Is More which I followed to make my card.

Frame It!

A day late with my DT Card this week.. with all the family and friends dinners and parties, and festive preparations to do, I just got caught up and didn't manage to do it in time. Besides that, having hubby at home on holidays doesn't help at all to have some crafting time for myself! I just have two more parties left now, one tomorrow evening and another at our place on Saturday evening, with twelve friends coming over, and that's it! It's back to work on Monday and back to routine to hopefully get back to crafting and some exercise as well! 

Anyway,  here is my card for today.

As you can see, my card is a very simple one. I just used one die which I have just purchased from Simon Says, Hearts Parade, three hearts from the same die, one DP and a sentiment from a stamp set, also from Simon Says and a die for the sentiment.

Three Hearts

Last Tuesday I said that I wasn't planning on doing any more Valentine Cards.... but Mr Mojo didn't have the same idea after seeing Brenda's gorgeous three-hearts card. 

Totally different from hers though as she used masking and stamping and sponging to do her hearts while mine are just die-cut with my Marianne Creatable hearts die... but there they are the three hearts and layout which inspired me so much :) .. ..

The beautiful paper that I used was a magazine freebie and for the leaves and rose I used two more of my Marianne Creatables dies. To do the embossing around the card and near the ribbon I used my Hougie Board.

Love You So

What a long day yesterday.. At 4.30 pm we had a course so it was a dash home straight after work, shower and change and out again to attend the course. The only good thing was that it was followed by dinner :) but it was not until much after 10.00 p.m. that I returned home! 

Anyway, today as I said yesterday, I have another card using the same stamp from All That Scraps as yesterday, this time she is a brunette. 

I hadn't planned on making another card with this stamp so quickly, but somehow I ended up doing another one!

Very simple again, just one DP, my favourite hearts border die from Crafty Sentiment, and then a pretty heart which was a swap from the lovely Karen. The little hearts are from the die as well.

Be Mine

Good morning everyone. I have jam packed days all week long this week and then vrooom ... I fly to Rome on Saturday woo hoo :) Can't wait.. Luckily I already managed to make my cards for this week and an extra one or two :P Yes... another Valentine's Day card again today .. ..But you can't blame me.. I still hadn't used this bootiful stamp from All That Scraps. ... I just had to use her!!!

I already had the card planted in my mind and how I wanted it.. clean and simple with lots of white... I love how it turned out ... pity hubby saw it, can't give it to him .. well he's seen all the Valentine cards I did, even the one I have for tomorrow... she is a brunette tomorrow :P

Another Valentine's Day Card

I don't usually make two posts in a day, and I also try to avoid it, but today I came across this fun digi image from Eureka Stamps that I had already printed and I thought it would be perfect for another Valentine's Day card.... so off I went and done me this today....

 isn't he cute :P  I coloured him with my promarkers...

... papers were magazine freebies and I again cut out the heart with my scissors. The gorgeous sentiment was a free download at the lovely and so talented Hannelie. Some faux stitiching today around the heart, gems and then rolled roses and leaves with my Marianne Creatables dies to finish off my card.

With all the love themed challenges around, I just had to play along and so made a Valentine's Day card.

This time I used one of my oldie stamps from Stamp Fairy to do my card.

Coloured stamp with my promarkers and then themed it up with some gorgeous papers that I had. 

The beautiful border die is from Crafty Sentiments, and I cut out the heart myself as I still don't haven't got me a die for this shape!!
