A Clean and Simple Christmas Card

So here I am again. This time I have a Christmas card which isn't a DT card and I am using one of my favourite Christmas stamps, Eira from CC Designs. I've had this stamp for quite some time now but always use it year after year as I just love it.

For my card this time I decided to make a clean and simple one and so stamped my imaged directly on the main white card. I coloured Eira with my new Letraset FlexMarkers which, lucky me, I had won last week :) and then inked up the edges with blue distress ink. In my mind I had intended to stop there but I'm not good with the inking so I stamped up lots of snowflakes to hide my boo boos. I then finished it off with the sentiment from my MSE Stamp set and three gems and randomly glitter stickles all around.
I really loved how it turned out.

These are my challenges for my card.

Moving Along With The Times - CLEAN AND SIMPLE

More than one fold

Good morning everyone, and a happy Sunday to all. It is so windy here at the moment, and just awful weather with rain as well. If I were well, it wouldn't have liked it, but as it is, with hubby abroad and me unwell, I am not bothered at all!

Anyway, I have two cards today and here I am with my first one which is for the new challenge starting today at One Stitch At A Time. The theme for this challenge is MORE THAN ONE FOLD and so I decided to do a circle easel card.

This week I got to choose my image from one of Leesa's digi stamps and this is Oingo Octopus. I coloured him with my promarkers and then cut him out to mount him on my card. A very quick card today, just added some of those fun bubbly dots and doodling all around my card.
Our sponsor this week is
with $9 to spend at the store.

Thank you for looking.

Will be back with my second card for the day.

Dies / Punches

Good morning everyone. How's your week going? ... hope not like mine. Yes me am not too good unfortunately as got a bad cold :(  I didn't go to work these last two days too and with hubby abroad till  the end of next week, it's not that fun at all! I am now really hoping that I will be fine by next Wednesday as we have our annual cocktail party on that day and I love going. Still don't know what to wear though as was going to find me a dress today, and not yet fit to go out!

Anyway, here is my card for today and it's my DT card for the new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. This week our theme is DIES AND/OR PUNCHES.

For my card this week I decided to use this fun digi image from Bugaboo Stamps which was one of the stamps I had chosen when I had won some time ago. I thought it was perfect for a card that I had to do. I coloured her with my promarkers, the background paper was in a magazine freebie, and the dies I used are the Spellbinders circle, Die-Namics stars and numbers and the skyline border from Memory Box.

We are this week sponsored by Die Cut Dreams and monthly by Joanna Sheen.

I am entering my card in these challenges today.

Some photos

It was Wednesday when I last posted anything on my blog! As I said, I was going to be very busy as I needed to sew me a costume to wear for a Boogie Nights party that we were going to yesterday. Thought I would share some photos since I don't have any cards to share still :)

So here I am enjoying my new afro wig before the party ha ha

And at the party dancing the night away!!!

With my friend

and with lots of nice people at the party

We really enjoyed it. Great night out !

And two last photos now to finish it off... totally different.. no wig or costume!
This was this morning and I'm here with my friend doing the President's Annual Walk for Charity. Lot's of people participating, over 13,000. It's always a lovely day out. Couldn't miss it even though we went home after 3.00a.m. after yesterday's party.

Thank you for looking and hope you had a nice weekend too.
xx
