Back to School

From what I've noticed, it's already back to school for many kids. Didn't know this, as it's still more than a month here in Malta before our kids go back to school. They start in the last week of September, so quite some more time before they start again. Today it's also a Public Holiday here yay :) I love this, some free time for me as well. Not sure yet what we will be doing, but probably another day at the beach.

Anyways, I have my card today for this week's StampFairy Challenge and as you must have guessed, the theme for this week is BACK TO SCHOOL.

This is the first time that I'm doing a Back to School card, so I didn't have any school related DPs or other stuff to use, and so I opted for some embossing and well... what you can see ha ha : ) I really liked how it turned out. The image that I am using is Lenny Back to School and the sentiment, which is a freebie, is also from Stamp Fairy. I coloured both with my promarkers.

FRIENDS WITH JUST WORDZ

Hello, good afternoon, it's again that time of the week when I get to post my card using the wonderful mix and match Just Wordz stamps! The theme for this week is FRIENDS and this is what I did for the sentiment using the stamps ........

and my card. 

Quite a lot going on my card today I think, ha ha am I finally changing?? The image is from one of my Bugaboo Stamps, which I coloured with my promarkers, thought it was just perfect for this week's theme, paper is from a Daisy and Dandelion paper pack ...

... and this is a butterfly stamp that I'm using for the first time. It's not new, I had bought it when I went to USA two years ago but somehow it got lost in a bag and totally forgot I had it, and so had never used it. I am so glad I found it now, I think it's quite nice.

A Wedding Card

Finally I have another card this week .. been a tad busy with both kids back home now, lots to do, but of course I am so pleased they are back home.

Anyways I have my card today for this week's Crafty Sentiments Challenge and the theme for this week is to use PUNCHES AND DIES. I decided to use both Billy and Primrose stamps today from the Wedding Collection. Last time I had only used Primrose and so I just had to make another card to use Billy as well, he is so cute.

I coloured them with my promarkers, papers were from a magazine freebie, sentiment is LOTV... 

..and of course dies and a border punch as well.

 

Really love this Marianne Design English Rose die, my favourite at the moment.

It's A Sketch

Hello everyone, another week gone and finally today my older son comes back from Sweden, after two whole weeks away! Did I tell you that my youngest boy has been sleeping with me everyday since he came back from Austria ... smile   :) .. but ssshhh I'm not telling anyone!

This is so a scheduled post today as I am at the airport now. Am so excited. Had been seeing the activities in the Maltese Jamboree Blog. Here he is in the second row, second from the left.

Rainbows

Prepare your sunglasses.... I think my card came out a bit bright ...  ha ha .. This today is my DT card for this week's new Sweet Stampin' challenge and the theme this time, chosen by Carlyann, is RAINBOWS.

We are sponsored by Tiffany Doodles this week and we were so lucky to get some digis to play with. I chose the fun Sunny Face.. and then added another stamp, Mae from Some Odd Girl. 

Thought these stamps were just perfect together. The sentiment is from LOTV, papers don't know were from, sorry, but I did stamp some flowers on them, which I then coloured with yellow promarkers. 

I printed Sunny Face twice, cut all around and popped it up with foam... 

and I did the same with Mae.... just didn't know what was I in for when I decided to do this. At least I loved how it turned out, so maybe it was worth it!
