Good morning everyone and a Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies out there :) It's Mother's Day here in Malta today and we are having lunch at home, bringing our elderly parents over... they prefer this instead of going out... and I don't mind too.. as long as I'm not cooking and eating something good that includes fish :P
Anyway, I thought I would share one of the Mother's Day cards that I did this week.. a totally different one from the cards that I usually do.. no coloring .. no DP.. just clean and simple this time.
To do my card this time I used.. again.. stuff from my new goodies :) yay .. There is the Memory Box butterfly die, using this one for the first time, and the Die Namics daisies die again
I cut a circle with my spellbinders die and then stuck on the daisies over it, leaving blank spaces and just sticking the daisies together from the tips. Underneath I also added a sheet of nice vellum paper.
I printed the sentiment on my computer and I did the two embossed lines with my hougie board. Three pearls to finish it off and that's it.. but of course, it wasn't a quick one as I inked all the butterflies and daisies from the edges and then had quite a long task sticking the butterflies from the centre. ..

This is stunning Dora. I really love the elegant design with those gorgeous daisies and the way you have used that MB butterfly die looks wonderful. It must have taken ages to stick all those tiny butterflies in place but definitely well worth it.
