Hello friends, how was your weekend? Hope it wasn't like mine 'cos it just wasn't fun at all .. had the carpenter here again on Saturday and well kitchen is still not ready!!! .. long story.. so I still have most of the kitchen dismantled and all things lying about. I'm now really hoping he finishes by this week as OH needs to do an op on his hand asap!! Today was not so fun either, we didn't go to the beach as the weather was not nice and I ended up ironing ... Had a big pile which was getting bigger and bigger each day which just had to be done! O well, if I look at the bright side of that I can say now I'm done with that so I have some free time during the week instead... hopefully..

This is a card I managed to do. A colleague of mine needed a card for twin baby boys and waited for me to come back from my holiday . . . busy as I was, how could I say I couldn't do it!



For my card I used some of my new stuff, MS punches and also the machine to do the embossing and for cutting out the names. The stamp I used, which I coloured with my promarkers, is by Marjorie and is a freebie too... wow, cute isn't it :)

Hiiiiiii .. I'm back :)))

Yes, we came back last Sunday from an amazing two week holiday in Orlando, and now I'm really hoping to be able to get back to my routine, catch up on a few blogs and start my card-making again, which I haven't been able to do so far. Jet lag finally gone now, done all the washing ... not all the ironing though.. aarrrgh :/ still more housework to do, and kitchen finally getting done too!!! Yes, kitchen is still upside down, but as planned, the carpenter did the kitchen cupboards while we were gone and now he came to fix them in place. He already came twice, so hopefully after we get the new fridge and freezer tomorrow he will only need to come another time or two and I can say FINALLY!!!!!

But no more of this boring stuff.... guess where I have to organize now ... my craft room... and why ???? Woo hooo... I bought so many stuff from Michael's, thanks to my friends Kathy and Lou, who told me where to go, that I really don't know where I am going to put everything :)))) He he .. luckily OH didn't say anything and he just let me do... Don't want to tell you how much I spent.. I don't want to feel bad, of course I don't, but if I do think about it, I might feel bad and I don't want :)))) Anyway, I bought an embossing and cutting machine!!!! some embossing folders, a cutting die (yes just one as they didn't have any ones I liked :|) a heat gun, a circle cutter, lots and lots of Martha Stewart punches, lots and lots of ribbon, some paper pads, some stamps, flowers... I don't know what happened but could it be that the stuff just fell in my bag???? he he :) I really can't wait to get done with all the work that needs to be done around the house so that I can start blogging and crafting again!!!! So missed you all!! I did peek a bit around, but I couldn't leave any comments as I was using just my mobile and it is so slow and had only a few minutes in the morning before we went out for the day.

Today I was dragged to the Star Wars Convention. Not my idea of fun, but I have to say I enjoyed it ....


... but still... I prefer a day at a park..

or just shopping!!!!!

Hi how is everyone doing? This is a scheduled post for me this Sunday as I'm still on vacation and here I have my DT card for Challenge 26 at One Stitch At A time. The challenge this week is to use punches on your card, I love punches .. got quite a number of them.... so how could I miss out :))

I'm using again one of the beautiful stamps from Beary Dust Stamps and this time I chose Aphrodite. Isn't she a beauty.



I coloured her with my promarkers and for my card today I stamped the background with my daisy stamp using green ink and then filled the stamp with yellow water colour paints. I used two punches, the small little flowers in the top corner and a Martha Stewart water lily punch.

A Birthday Card

Last week I was asked by Judie from the Crafty Cardmakers if I wanted to be their Guest DT for their next challenge :))) Busy as I was last week, I still couldn't say no and it was an easy peasy one too... a Birthday Card, so off I set to make my card and this is what I did...



In fact this is a scheduled post as at the moment I'm on vacation, so I'm really hoping this is working out fine.

For my card, I thought I would try something different this time and used the colours purple, which i don't usually do and used some Papermania papers which I've had for quite some time. I also added some black. The stamp is one of the beautiful fairies from Crafter's Companion and I coloured it with my promarkers. Hope you like

Some photos and my candy winner

No card for me today, a bit busy before we leave on Friday but also got a bit mess in my kitchen... have men working on it as have to replace some of the cupboards unfortunately. As you can see the kitchen is dismantled most of it and got things lying around everywhere ... aarrgh...!

Last week I had promised some candy ... and here I am :) Yep.. I got me loads of stuff to celebrate... my DT at OSAAT, two GDT spots this month and also my Wedding Anniversary at the end of this month!!!!! ... and now I see I have 100 Followers woo hoo :) Hello and welcome and thanks for following ... hope you'll enjoy visiting...

Been rather quite lately yes, but just lately I'm hoping, I'm not usually like this. First it was my back in pain ... and now there's no football on telly, so none of my boys here at home, including OH, have anything to do and everyone wants to go out !!!! These men!!!

Anyway.. here is what I am offering and it is open to my followers and that's the only rule, so if you're not a follower.. just follow and join in! An easel card

Today I decided to have a go at making an easel card... yes my first one! Been wanting to try one for quite some time and now that I did, I loved it :)





I followed this sketch


and used one of Sliekje's cute freebie stamps, which I coloured with my promarkers. Hope you like it.

Clapping Baby

It's Sunday and it's my turn this week to do my DT card for this week's challenge at One Stitch At A Time... yay :) I got to choose a stamp from a new creator at the Stitchy Bear Shop this time, and that is Sylvie....

It didn't take me long to decide which stamp to use 'cos when I saw this adorable Clapping Baby I just had to have him. This is what I did..


Baby is coloured with my promakers ... need I say this :) owww so much fun I had colouring this stamp ... papers and flowers were in my stash and that adorable charm was in the candy which I won from Fany. For the embossing I used an embossing ruler which was a freebie in the Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine and the punches are both Martha Stewart ones. . . have to tell you though that the scalloped one is my usual punch, but just showing the top part .. woops!! Hope you like it.

This week the challenge is to follow this sketch and there is also an option to use the colour pink. Nice and easy one again this week.
