Clarabelle

I had quite a busy day yesterday.. all morning I was in Valletta with my older son as he wanted to buy some clothes with the money we gave him for his birthday. In between a quarrel or two, because he liked something and I didn't and because he wanted to buy an expensive Fred Perry PLAIN T-Shirt with just the small logo on one side, that was a mum and son day out together!

.. In the afternoon then I was busy preparing to welcome some of his friends who he was bringing over for his birthday. I really was so tired in the end, wish hubby hadn't a sleep-over for the altar boys as he would have helped out so much! Luckily all turned out well, even though we forgot the CAKE! I so proceeded to make one, while they were watching a film... without the right ingredients ... and I errrrm made it with normal flour instead of self-raising flour .. and no baking powder, as didn't have as well!!! Obviously it didn't come out so right !! .. Still they ate it he he

And guess what, he even received a handmade card, made by the little sister of one of his friends. My son obviously didn't notice .. but I did and I was so happy about this that I quickly prepared some goodies for her yay :)

ooops I'm really talking too much today ..

So onto my card now. I am using again one of my Kraftin Kimmie stamps for my card today. This time it is Clarabelle.. so fairy cute.

Quite a simple card but I really loved how it turned out with all the focus on Clarabelle and her lovely wings, antennas and pretty leg curled up.

The paper that I used today is from a gorgeous Me To You paper pack, the corner stamp is from Lili of the Valley, and birthday stamp is from a Hero Arts stamp set. Glittered flowers from stash

I am entering my card in these challenges today.
