My Favourite Five Christmas Cards
I wasn't planning on posting anything today, Christmas Eve, but seeing that Debby has the Favourite Five Christmas Cards for 2011 up and running, I thought it would be the perfect day to post my fave five.
Always is so difficult to choose, but finally here they are, I decided on these five.
A Blue and White card which I had made using a free stamp from the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.
And a frosty look on a Scalloped Easel Card, love doing these, so simple and fun.
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer now, using a StampFairy image.
and another StampFairy image, Barry Winter this time... so cute.
And finally Eira.. love this one, she is so beautiful I think.
It was good to look back onto the Christmas cards I made through the year, thank you Debby :)
I'm off to get ready now. We're going to dinner tonight with in-laws and then to the midnight mass. Tomorrow, Christmas Day, will be spending it at brother-in-law.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

A Wedding Card
The theme this week at Kenny K, and at so many other Challenge Blogs at the moment too, is ANYTHING GOES ... Well definitely I had to join in, especially when I had this wedding card to post, which I made using my newest image from Kenny K... and which of course is just perfect for this challenge.
I really love how this card turned out, so fun and elegant at the same time I think. I coloured image with promarkers, leaves and hearts dies are Marianne Creatables, DP is Papermania, and centre die Spellbinders.
I have some exciting news now yay :) .. I won last week's Totally Gorjuss challenge
and so now have a nice £10 voucher to spend at Joanna Sheen woo hoo :)
Some photos today as well...
woops sorry it looks like it's getting to be a really long post!
Well, remember last time I was saying about being asked to contribute to the Christmas edition of the in-house magazine of where I work. .. It is finally out... and so in time too, as today was my last day at work for this year since I'm on vacation leave now for the next five days yay.
This is the front page and that is my page.
I had finally decided on a scalloped easel card. Thought it would be something different and that someone who isn't crafty and who only has basic craft stuff can try.
This is a close up of the card. I suggested they use pictures from old Christmas Cards.
These are another two pages from the magazine. That's me again at the bottom when I had helped out in the Crafts day for the kids.
One last photo.. all dressed up nicely now at the Cocktail party with my colleagues woo hoo
And of course some challenges now for my Wedding Card

A Bookmark
Good morning ladies, hope everyone is ok and keeping warm. It's gone quite cold over here, and yesterday evening to go out I had to wear a thick jacket and scarf... brrr.. and it was raining too. Well finally! it's December, about time now too.
Anyway, today it's Tuesday, so it's time for another new challenge at Crafty Sentiments. This week the theme is a nice and simple one and we want to see some BOOKMARKS. I rarely do any bookmarks, so being also so busy with Christmas round the corner and hubby on vacation leave, I made a simple one............ but o so cute I think... I really really love how it turned out....
...... .... but then.. could I go wrong with this sweet sweet Strawberry Delight stamp?
To do my bookmark I coloured stamp with my promarkers, and then I used my Tim Holtz distress inks to do the sky and some clouds. The sentiment and butterflies are from other stamps.
Don't forget that the Crafty Sentiments SALE is still on till next Saturday if you were thinking on getting anything from the store.
And now some news as well. .. lots of it too.
So first, there will be a Love and Romance stamps launch on the 3rd of January
and then the launch of a brand new monthly challenge blog in February, along our regular weekly one with lots of Crafty Sentiments Designs give-aways
and also
a DESIGN TEAM CALL as well!
Just go to the Challenge Blog for all the details.

Use a Digi with OSAAT
I love Christmas, but it is always such a busy month! I have now also been asked to contribute to this month's In-House Magazine that is published where I work and have to prepare a step-by-step tutorial for a Christmas Card. Of course I couldn't refuse, so I'm racking my brains at the moment to see what I can come up with as it has to be simple for someone who isn't crafty and I have to give it to them by tomorrow! I will of course let you know how it goes.
Anyway, it's time for a new challenge at One Stitch At A Time and the theme for this week is
USE A DIGI
To do my card this time I used the beautiful Rosalee from the Delicious Doodles gorgeous images.
I coloured my image with promarkers, DP is from my DCWV Floral Prints Paper stack, sentiment Hero Arts, border punch Martha Stewart, butterfly punch is X-Cut and the dies are Marianne Creatables.
