A Shaped Card with I Love Promakers

I am so pleased with myself this week ... I am managing to do my DT cards in time! Being so busy, I really didn't think I'd make it.. won't say how late I stayed up on Monday to finish them, but I did them yay :) and I also managed to do some fun hopping as well .. another yay :) .. . 

Not as much as I wished.. still so much to catch up, but I'll be there .. not today though unfortunately... I'm taking son to his football coaching after work and then heading straight to the hairdresser as I have my work Christmas Cocktail Party tonight woo hoo !! Everyone dresses up so niceely and chic so I bought me a really nice dress for the occasion. Was with my friend when I got it and she kind of convinced me to buy it!! Yes Chrissy I have to get me a pic with it now and show it he he :)

Ooo I'm so talkative today, sorry sorry..  must be my excitement for the party. So better get on to my card.

I have a Circle Easel Card today and I made it for this week's new challenge at I Love Promarkers. ...my second card as a DT here .. big smile .. really loving this :) 

For my card I used a really sweet stamp from Cardmadfairy's which, lucky me, is one of five stamps that I had won last week in their challenge!

I have of course coloured my image with my promarkers, the papers were magazine freebies and the sentiment is again from my MSE (My Sentiments Exactly) Christmas stamp set. Some faux stitching, white bubbles, glitter and sparkly peel-off snowflakes to finish it off.

A Guitar

Last week I had to do a birthday card for the son of someone I knew, who plays the guitar and is around 20s. I so made him this card, without realising how perfect it was going to be as they were going to buy him a new guitar for his birthday! yay I was so pleased :) .. I wonder if I hit the bull's eye with the colours as well!

I got the fantastic guitar image from Card Mad Fairy, the gorgeous paper, which was a freebie, is from Bearly-Mine and the fab dies are from Die-Namics. I coloured my image with my promarkers.

Two Birthday Cards and Fabulous NEWS

So I have two cards today ... and some news, but first my cards...and lucky me got both the digis for free.

For this card I got the stamp after Kellie, from Tickled Pink Stamps sent out an email this week to all her customers and offered a free digi to the first 50 who answered... woo hoo I was one of the girls who got the free digi and I chose this darling Birthday Cherrie stamp.

I coloured Cherrie with my promarkers, paper was a free gift in a magazine, sentiment from Hero Arts stamp set, Card Candy and flowers with my CREAlies die cut.

And now I have a boy's birthday card. Last week or so I was one of the girls picked for the Top 3 at the CardmadFairy Challenge.. well lucky me again, I didn't know, but I had won a digi as well :)) I didn't take much to decide as when I saw this lovely stamp, Zac, I immediately thought of my youngest son Kevin, who, upon his request, is very happily learning the guitar. 

The fantastic papers that I used to do my card today were freebie ones from Bearly-Mine and I did the stars with my Die-Namics stars die...

... using some lovely shiny card which I had forgotten I had.

Quite a simple card, but I am sure he will like it. ... hoping that he will still be playing the guitar in October, that's when his birthday is ha ha am I finally not getting good preparing my cards SO EARLY :)

And now MY NEWS ...... my exciting news ....  Remember me some time ago saying that I went to apply to be an Extra in Brad Pitt's newest film World War Z?  WELL ....... I GOT CHOSEN .. woo hooo hooo hooo squeal ....... I couldn't contain my excitement when I got the telephone call today and even now I still can't keep quiet with the excitement. I will be going for rehearsals tomorrow and then on Monday for the costume fitting!!! First time for me doing this, so I am really looking forward and we get paid too...  So tomorrow morning, when you see my Crafty Sentiment DT Card going online, I will be ......... rehearsing........  I wonder if I will be rehearsing for how to walk like a zombie     : )

Hi good morning!  Hope you are having a fabulous weekend. It's time for a new challenge at One Stitch At A Time and the theme this week is Embellish It, so a very easy one again this week.

 

I decided to do a male card this time as it's been some time since I did one and also because when I saw this stamp from Cardmad Fairy.... with the same name as my son.. Kevin, I just had to have him! For my embellishments I used some gems, punched stars and that gold Number 1 Cup which I had bought a long time ago. I did the football papers myself and then used my cuttlebug circles embossing folder.

All Dressed Up

A double yippee today ... it's Friday and school's finished ha ha :) .. as if I was the one going to school !!

I used to love school, not that I much cared for it, but that's why I loved it he he .. I remember I used to draw the teacher's faces secretly during class and they came out quite good too! I think my older son gets after me. Last time when I had the parent's day his French teacher angrily showed me some drawings she caught him doing while in class.. What could I say, really didn't know :) !!!

I made this card today for some challenges.



The stamp I'm using for my card is Jenni's All Dressed Up which I had got me last May. I coloured her with my promarkers... not much colouring I did today as you can see, 'cos I left the dress white but cannot say this for the hair though.. Yesterday I coloured blonde hair and today I did black coloured hair! I again looked up the tutorials at the Promarkers Workshop to help me out. Didn't have all the grey shades that I needed but I think it still didn't come out so bad.
