Autumn Trees/Leaves

As the weather had forecast last Wednesday, we had a nice sunny day... well today it isn't correct.. and I'm really pleased as we should be having rain and instead we have again a nice sunny day, so I can put up the laundry out to dry yay :) ..

mmm .. maybe it will rain tomorrow, I wonder, but that won't bother me now as all my clothes would be dry ha ha :)

Anyway, it's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. The theme for this week is AUTUMN LEAVES/ TREES

I just didn't know what to do till the last minute, and then I found this gorgeous digi image from Digi Doodles, which I thought would be perfect for this theme. I coloured it with my promarkers, papers are from the StitchyBear store, sentiment is from Just Wordz, and the lovely leaves are recycled from an old (not handmade of course) birthday card. I hope you like it.

Family Day at Just Wordz

Hello, good afternoon. Today it's Friday, so time for me to show you my Just Wordz DT card, which happens to be also be my last card posting as a DT. I had so much fun these past four months that I didn't realise my time was up, but I am happy that I have met some wonderful and talented ladies here, and Kim, owner and our DT Coordinator, who was so nice to work with. So I would like to thank Kim for having me these past four months and also welcome the new team, who I am sure they will have so much fun as I have had these past months yay :)

So here is my card for today. This week we were to create a card for a specific family member and mine was .... FATHER! aaaahhh big big challenge!!! I hardly ever do these.. so just couldn't come up with anything good... finding only cute images. 

Not even sure I like it too.. well the image is definitely cute. The embossing folder I got that from The Secret Crafter, border punch is Fiskars, papers from stash and of course the sentiment is from the Everyday Sentiment Set.

Hello everyone, Friday at last and since it's Friday I have my Just Wordz card today.... The theme for this week is THANK YOU and these words you can find in the Everyday Sentiments Stamp Set. For my card I decided to use Miss Evie, a stamp from Squiggle Stamps, which lucky me I had won in a blog hop some time ago yay .. I thought she was perfect for this theme!

I coloured Miss Evie with my promarkers, papers were a magazine freebie and the flowers are from Papermania. I enjoyed doing some stitching today... and thought lace and ribbon would look so pretty.

The butterfly is another of the new goodies that a bought .. . really not sure if I made a bargain or not with this one.. it was on ebay, ending in a few minutes and I just hit the bid button, without even checking anything.. It was so exciting.. I must have caught the ebay bug!!! and there is still one last thing that I bought and haven't used yet :)

Just Wordz

Hi everyone, it's Friday so yep that's right it's time for Just Wordz. Today the theme is Sympathy/Sorry and I was to use the words I'm So Sorry for my card. Today I decided to use this cute clear stamp, which was a magazine freebie and ...

...also decided to try my hand at making my first wiper card!!! This is the card when it is pulled away with the second sentiment popping out from the inside. 

Really love how the sentiment pops up when you pull the card away, I think it is so fun. I did my flower using my CreaLies Die, the border punch is Martha Stewart, card candy on the sides and the other dies are Spellbinders. 

Some news now ....Kimberly is searching for a new team for the next four months so she is having a Design Team Call !!! I can't believe that already four months are nearing the end.. wow how time flies when you are having fun. A Monster Party

It seems that everytime I am away, my mojo just goes flying away too....... and me being a bit poorly and school starting this week doesn't help at all. So, of course, my card today is quite simple .. but I think it came out so cute too.... can''t really go wrong with such a fun image. 

I made my card today for this week's Just Wordz Stamps where the theme today is ANYTHING + A SHAPED CARD... So I used the words It's Party Time..

and made a circle easel card using my nesties.

The cute monster stamp is from Squiggle Stamps which I was so lucky enough to receive from my blogger friend Heidi yay :) and the banner stamp was a freebie in the magazine Simply Homemade.

Coloured both stamps with my promarkers.

I Love You with Just Wordz

My second scheduled post for today... at this time we should have arrived in Amsterdam yay!

It's Friday, so it's time for Just Wordz stamps.. those mix and match word stamps .... with which you can make up so many combination sentiments! Today the theme is all about LOVE.

I'm using another new goody today.. the Joy Crafts Floral Flourish Die ... woops I've been a bit naughty lately.. got me some new stuff..

My stamp is from Meljen Designs and I had coloured it with my promarkers .. in my car .. while waiting for my son to finish his guitar lesson. Ha ha can't waste precious time  :)  .. using it for the first time as well!

Today I decided to stamp my words in a slanting way .. just for fun..  like :) ??

Another long day at the office.. overtime again .. boo... I usually finish at 1.00pm since I don't work full-time but we're at the end of the financial year now, the busiest time of all, so we're really busy !! 

Anyways, on my way home I remembered that I still hadn't prepared my post for today, and on Fridays its Just Wordz time! We are still showcasing Everyday Sentiments and this is what I did today.

I coloured my lovely stamp with my promarkers, the border punch is Martha Stewart, butterfly XCut Dimensions and the doily Marianne Creatables die. Corner stamp is LOTV and ..

.. of course, my Just For You sentiment is Just Wordz.

Spots and Stripes

Hi everyone, good morning .. another new day and another new challenge. This time it's challenge time at Crafty Sentiments and we also have some new gorgeous digital Manga images being released today as well. 

The theme for this week's challenge is SPOTS and STRIPES and this is what I did.

Lots of spots in my embossed background and some stripes in the yellow coloured raffia. I coloured my image with my promarkers and I used my Just Wordz stamps for the sentiment.

Quite a simple card today, hope you like it.

This week each of us girls had different themes for our cards. 

Mine was to make a Mother's Day Card. Of course, I loved this theme, could really let go and have fun. In fact, lotsa stuff going on my card today, not usual for me... flowers, pearls, lace, charm, metal brads, a doily..

and some of Karen's gorgeous pins to finish it off.

Really am pleased today with how my card turned out.

Let's Go Shopping

The theme for this week at Just Wordz is ANYTHING..... and a TAG...... What did I do ???  ANYTHING but forgot the TAG!!! Aaarrggh .. I hate it when this happens!!! I really have to organise myself a bit more....

Anyway, I still thought I could show you what I did...

I used one of my Martha Stewart border punches today, another small flower punch, and a Marianne Design Doily Die. Of course.. no tag, but well the sentiment could have been easily stamped on a tag. 

Some lovely sparkly and so shiny bubble stickers today on my card, which I've had for ages.

And a sweet Let's Go Shopping digi stamp. 

This stamp is one of many digi stamps that are being sold to raise funds for Lyndall, who is battling cancer. Go here if you would like to help.

Christmas came early.....

I'm back.. from my day out with hubby and kids. So finally we purchased a bedroom for our son, did some other errands, which one of them was to a computer shop .. and lookie what I bought me :)) woo hooo a Netbook!!! Totally unplanned. I am so excited.. he he yes, Christmas came early for me this year... and it's pink too ... so fun. 

I also managed to fit in some clothes shopping, and then when I arrived home.. lookie again. This is what was waiting for me in the mail! What a sweet sweet surprise from Jennifer. She had won one of my candies and sent me this gorgeous card and lovely goodies. How sweet and such an angel. Thank you so much Jennifer.. a perfect end to my day :)   xx

Well I'm off to prepare my post for tomorrow now, back to work again tomorrow.. sorry haven't been able to come visiting much lately.. wow this was a really busy week for me, but I'm hoping to be back to normal  this weekend!!
