Good Luck

No DT Cards to post for this week, as both are fortnightly, so I thought to share this Good Luck card instead which I made for a guy who left our office.

Didn't really know what to do.. I really find these male cards quite difficult...

so I just used die cuts for my card... quite a few of them in fact! Two card candy and two colors and that's it! I hope he liked it.

Tags

Hello everyone. Another week gone by and so it's time for another challenge at I ♥ Promarkers. The theme for this week is TAGS.

I very rarely add tags to my cards, or do any tags, so I found this quite a challenge to do. ... but finally I managed to add one small tag to my card..

The image that I used for my card is from Lili of the Valley and DP is a very oldie one from Papermania. Die-cut butterflies are Spellbinders.

We are this week sponsored by Visible Image and the prize is a lovely stamp set which you can see on the Challenge Blog.

I hope you can join us this week.

Surprise Surprise, I'm still up today working on Saturday's project!  Guess you are now wondering what I'm doing he he .. it's just something that I've never done yet! The sweet image is from Lili of the Valley.. first time I'm using it, I coloured it with my promarkers, lovely paper is from my DCWV Floral Prints paper pack, leaf die is Marianne Creatables and the Good Luck clear stamp sentiment was a freebie in a magazine.

And speaking of LOTV, did you know they have a fab Christmas sale AND free postage as well woo hoo.. I just had to get me errm something he he .. can't wait for the postman now.

I am entering my card in these challenges today.

Quick Male Cards

Today I thought I would post some pics of some male ordered cards I was doing .... all quickie ones using the fantastic clear stamp set from Inkadinkadoo...

This one wanted some Teck Deck skateboards on the card.. I just printed two that I found on the internet, cut them out and popped them up with foam.. some polka dot paper from The Cutting Cafe, die cut stars ..

and I did the sentiment on the computer using the font Pass the Checks ... love it!

Very similar this one... sorry about the poor photo. Some embossed circles now.

.. and another, very similar as well with embossing on the stars and circles. I cut the stars myself on this one as wanted them a bit larger. The sentiment is a wood rubber stamp from DoCrafts I think. Had it for such a long time, hardly ever used it.

Hope you like them :)

Got me some fabulous news now, Mr Postie knocked on my door and brought me these two gorgeous birthday cards from my lovely blogger friends Corry and Kathy woo hoo thank you girls, so much appreciated... I think I will have to CASE these, love them :)

and another knock.. this time from Mr Luck woot woot ... I won a fantastic £10 Gift Voucher from my My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge :)

Just couldn't help myself topping it up with my birthday present money gift. So many goodies to choose from ............... and................. FREE POSTAGE as well!!! woo hoo loved that! Can't wait for the goodies to arrive!!

Good Luck Owl!

This week I had to do a Good Luck card for a male colleague! Does everyone have difficulty with male cards or is it just me!

I desperately needed a nice sketch for this one, and up came I ♥ ProMarkers' Challenge No 5 with this nice sketch. They wanted to see also some embossing somewhere in our project. I'm entering this card also in the Creative Inspirations Challenge No 29, as this week the theme is a MALE CARD!

The sketch:

And here is my card...

... hope you like it! The papers are from the Papermania Simply Elegant Colossal Paper Pack and the image, which I coloured with my promarkers, is by Dustin Pike. I did the wings, beak and legs twice so as to make them stand out more and for the wings I cut a slit in the main picture and inserted the second wings on top, so as to make them look like they are flapping!! To make the embossing I used an embossing ruler which was a free gift in the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, and the buttons..... well, didn't have anything to do there... so I punched some holes and hey lo.... some fake buttons !!!! Hope you like my idea!
