Summer Colors

Hello everyone, good morning and hope you are having a nice weekend. I had two days off Thursday and Friday for my birthday going shopping to Valletta in the morning and to the beach for a swim in the afternoon with hubby on my birthday so extra happy :) It was lovely at the beach. The sea of course is still a bit cold at this time of the year, but still there were a lot of tourists swimming and I loved it. Hubby didn't go in, but I did, twice and I'm so looking forward for another one :)

Anyway, it's Saturday today and it's time for Team 2 at the 

Crafty Friends Challenge

SUMMER COLORS

For the challenge you just need to use two colors from this picture here below.

 

We got to use images from our great sponsor Bugaboo Stamps and I chose this gorgeous lady Beach Girlz. This time I didn't color it with my promarkers, but chose the ready colored one as it had the right colors that I needed and I also really loved it as it was. The background DP was from a free paperpack from a magazine and the fish and the waves dies are new :D

The prize for one lucky winner this time will win four digi images from our sponsor.

Good morning everyone and it's my birthday today :) ...  I am now 49 years old!!  Me and hubby took the day off and when he asked me where I wanted to go, of course I said to the beach lol :) 

So before we go out for the day I thought I would post my card for the new challenge that started yesterday at

and being Mother's Day in Malta last Sunday I thought I would make a Mother's day card ... someone more special than that there couldn't be.

 We are all using digi images from our sponsor Alicia Bel and I got to use this real sweetie Teddy Bear with Balloons which I colored with my promarkers.

Fantasy

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a great week and lovely weather too. I got to go swimming last Sunday, so I'm very happy about that :) It was a bit cold but I loved it still as it's only until you get in that you feel it cold, but then it's ok. Yesterday we met Pamela and Billy, as they came for their holiday in Malta again. Will be meeting them again next Saturday as we are doing a bbq at our new place. More news... still waiting for the architect to give us a meeting :(  and we had guests from Spain this last week at our rental place, and they were so so nice. I really loved them. They left this morning but unfortunately they forgot their grandma's walking stick in the living room. Hopefully I will be able to hand it over to their cousin who is living in Malta as they came to see her.

Anyway, onto my card for today as it's a new challenge at

Crafting By Designs

The theme for this week is

FANTASY

 All DT are using an image from our sponsor Nikki Brunette and I am using Adeline.

I colored her with my promarkers and then added some flowers and die cuts.

Unfortunately I haven't been in a very crafty mood this time, the waiting for the architect is driving me mad!! :(   But I don't want to bore you ... hopefully soon I will say that we started.

Anything Goes

Good morning everyone. Beautiful days at the moment and I really can't wait to start going swimming. In fact last year at this time I had already gone once, so I'm hoping to go next Sunday. Good news btw.... finally we concluded the new house plans and so now the waiting goes on again for the approval to come out so we can start the works. Well, at least we did a step now.

Anyway, it's Wednesday today and so it's a new challenge at Crafting by Design and it's time for the monthly ANYTHING GOES challenge today.

For my card I am using an image from one of our sponsors, Bugaboo Stamps as this month we have two sponsors. The cute image is Critter Balloons Elephant and I colored it with my promarkers.

Some embossing today, and die cuts of course and fun ribbon to finish it off.

A Wedding Card

A Public Holiday today yay :) and we have a family wedding, so I thought to share the card I made for the happy couple. For a change I am doing a totally different card than my usual ones, so no coloring, no digi images and instead recycling.

In fact the bride and groom image and the background are recycled from two shop bought cards which my friends give me to recycle. I was really pleased to have been able to match both and of course using up some of the cards as I got loads of them! 

I then added some ribbon to hide a join of the back card and finished it off with the veil, gems, peel offs and a sentiment.

I think it came out quite nice and really hope they loved it.
