A Krafty Christmas

As planned, we took the day off today to be with Pam and her hubby, but we had to cancel going to Gozo as it was still so windy. We instead went to Wied iz-Zurrieq and to Hagar Qim and Mnajdra Temples, which we still enjoyed of course. We're hoping for a nice day on Sunday to go to Gozo on that day instead.. so fingers crossed for that :)

The theme for this month is to make a krafty Christmas card.. I've never used kraft on my cards before so for me this was such a difficult theme... but only managed this!

Still love how it turned out ... The image is from Crissy's Digis of Whimsy Stamps which I coloured with my promarkers, beautiful border die is from Crafty Sentiments and the gorgeous poinsettia dies are from Spellbinders.

Snowflakes

Woops I totally forgot yesterday to post my Monthly DT Card for the new challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin'!!. Understandable though being so busy doing the Valentine Cupcakes to take to the office today :) .. 

yum yum ..they were sooooo good. Everyone loved them. Lucky for me hubby came early from work and did dinner himself as otherwise I'm sure I wouldn't have managed.. and I guess he thought either that or he would go hungry ha ha :P

Anyway, onto my card now. The theme for this month at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' is 

SNOWFLAKES

I decided to use this pack of Forever Friends stickers that I had bought one time and made not one.. 

but three cards.

All three very similar. I just stamped snowflakes all around the border on the above two cards, and for this one, the first one that I did, just the stickers, peel off sentiment and an embossed border to finish it off. I love how they came out.. and were so quick too :) .. that's why I managed to do three :P

A Christmas Card

Not a good way to end up my day at work yesterday .... I got a fine :( .. but it's all my fault! I took a wrong turn as I was in a hurry and found a traffic warden waiting for me !!! aaarrrghhh .. there never is one!!! ... No use telling her that I didn't see the sign, she didn't buy it! I definitely won't be taking a wrong turn ever again.

Anyway a big welcome now to my newest follower. Woo hoo hello, thank you for following me... we're now two away for the 500th! wow!! so exciting :)

and onto my DT Card for today is next. My card for today I made it for the mid way reminder for this month's challenge at Sweet Stampin Christmas.

The theme for this month is COLD AND FROSTY.

For my card I decided to use this cute stamp which was free in a magazine which I coloured with my promarkers. I then finished it with some glitter, ribbon, gems, snowflakes die cuts and a peel off sentiment.

I also have some news with this card, as lately, seeing how busy I always was, I had decided that I should step down from the weekly DT at Sweet Stampin. Of course, it was such a hard decision for me, the ladies are so nice there, so I kept instead this monthy DT with the Sweet Stampin girls.

Seeing Double

I'm so late with my DT card! It's not that I didn't make the card on time but I totally forgot to post it yesterday. Being unwell and at home all week long, I lost track of time and just forgot!! Yes unfortunately I'm still not feeling good :( getting better but not feeling like doing anything yet. Anyway, don't want to bore you. 

Here is my card for the new challenge which started yesterday ay Sweet Stampin.

The theme for this week is

SEEING DOUBLE

For my card I used a clear stamp that was free in a magazine. There are two polar bears. The centre die is Marianne Creatables, the border punch is Martha Stewart, while the snowflakes are Spellbinders.

Dies / Punches

Good morning everyone. How's your week going? ... hope not like mine. Yes me am not too good unfortunately as got a bad cold :(  I didn't go to work these last two days too and with hubby abroad till  the end of next week, it's not that fun at all! I am now really hoping that I will be fine by next Wednesday as we have our annual cocktail party on that day and I love going. Still don't know what to wear though as was going to find me a dress today, and not yet fit to go out!

Anyway, here is my card for today and it's my DT card for the new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. This week our theme is DIES AND/OR PUNCHES.

For my card this week I decided to use this fun digi image from Bugaboo Stamps which was one of the stamps I had chosen when I had won some time ago. I thought it was perfect for a card that I had to do. I coloured her with my promarkers, the background paper was in a magazine freebie, and the dies I used are the Spellbinders circle, Die-Namics stars and numbers and the skyline border from Memory Box.

Good afternoon everyone. I'm so late with my posting my cards today, sorry, but we went out to dinner yesterday evening as hubby is going to London, and I just didn't have time to schedule my posts. Anyway, better late then never isn't it!!!

CHRISTMAS AT SWEET STAMPIN'

I am so excited to be forming part of this great new Christmas Challenge blog, will definitely help me to get my Christmas cards done along the year.. I'm so behind with them at the moment!

For my card this time I used a rubber stamp which I had bought from New Zealand quite some time ago, I coloured it with my promarkers and the papers, present, faux ribbon and the fun Christmas trees I printed them from a Nitwits Collections pack. I just love the colours and embellisments of this set.

The prize this month are surprise stamps from Funky Kits and also a set of promarkers from Letraset.

Flowers and Candy Alerts

Good morning everyone. A very nice sunny day here today for the weekend yay. Today I'm just going to do just the necessary bit of housework ;) to then dedicate my afternoon for blog hopping. I've been so busy lately that I didn't have time for this but today I'll definitely be over to see you.

Anyway, onto my card for today and today it's time for another new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. The theme for this week is

FLOWERS

I took quite some time to do my card today but I wanted to use some new dies that I have purchased, so I needed lots of experimenting. Yes I was very naughty, and my urge to get me some new goodies took over. Well, what happened was that some time ago I had won a $15 voucher from Simon Says and seeing all the goodies, I just couldn't resist topping up the voucher with some more extra monies!!

So here I used two of them, the PoppyStamps Grand Madison Window die and the Leafy Branch from CC Designs. The flower border at the bottom is Memory Box, which I already had and the sweet bird and birdhouse die-cuts were in a die-cut swap from Chrissy. Thank you Chrissy :)

I popped up the window and the flower border and I also stamped the lovely LOTV stamp three times to pop it up as well. I coloured the image with my promarkers, the faux curtain inside the window is a Martha Stewart border punch, the little blue butterflies is an X-Cut punch and the DP is from a Boofle paper pad. 

I really love how my card turned out today and can't believe I left this gorgeous stamp from LOTV waiting for me to use her for such a long time!

Anything and a DT Call

Good morning everyone, wishing you all a nice weekend. I have two cards today.... no I have THREE!! but in two posts. Very rare this is, so you can imagine how busy I was to get me all these cards ready, but always ever so happy, especially when you see what I have been doing :) 

So this is my first one and this is my DT card for the new challenge starting today at SWEET STAMPIN.

What's Cooking/ Something to Eat

Good morning everyone ...  It's the weekend and I'm pretty sure everyone is happy about this :) I am, more so because soon I'll be going off to my fave shop as they have a 25% discount on their new Winter collection yay. Hope I'll find me something nice.

Anyway, as it's Saturday it's also time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin. The theme for this week is What's Cooking/ Something to Eat.

I didn't know what to do at first and so when last week I won me seven digis from Bugaboo stamps, I immediately thought about this card that I had to do and this is one of the images that I picked. I thought he was so cute and fun. I coloured him with my promarkers, papers are Papermania and border punch is Fiskars. Can't wait to use the others that I picked up.

Autumn Trees/Leaves

As the weather had forecast last Wednesday, we had a nice sunny day... well today it isn't correct.. and I'm really pleased as we should be having rain and instead we have again a nice sunny day, so I can put up the laundry out to dry yay :) ..

mmm .. maybe it will rain tomorrow, I wonder, but that won't bother me now as all my clothes would be dry ha ha :)
