I had computer problems yesterday.. and big ones too... I was just about to print off some digis when poof .. electricity went off! That was ok .. I said, or thought so..... but that was not ok, because when it finally came back and I switched it on again, it said that a system file was corrupted and of course, didn't switch on! So I called hubby and he said that it was possible that we could have lost everything!! Aaaah my worst nightmare. .... so you can imagine how I spent the rest of the day waiting for him to come home.. which is always so late! Anyway, the good thing was that I didn't lose anything phew.. false alarm, but it was a tough job to fix it, because he stayed til late working on it and going online for help and he says he still needs to work on it....
.. lesson from this......... backup !!! Yes do it because this could happen to anyone and so easily too.
I have something to celebrate now ...
400 + Followers woo hoo I couldn't believe it this morning and the + too wow! Thank you everyone for making this happen and a big warm welcome to my newest followers too. It is lovely to have you joining me, this means a lot to me. So obviously celebration means candy .... which I will be doing that next week.. so keep a look out woo hoo : )
Ok so onto my card now.... I have a
WHITE ON WHITE card today for the newest challenge at
Sweet Stampin. I have to admit that I found this challenge really so tough, especially too since it's been such a long time since I did one of these... but then finally I did it and am really so glad I persisted, because I loved how it turned out.
Used one of my LOTV images today, thought a wedding card would be ideal for this theme. Coloured it with my promarkers and then added glitter on her dress and flowers. Doesn't show much though.
The sentiment is from a Forever Friends stamp set, as I couldn't find the LOTV ones that came with the set!!! .. .. yes 'lost'! Hope I find it soon!
... and I have a tip now for the
TOP TIP TUESDAY - if you don't have one of those boards with which you emboss lines, use the groove of a CD box when it's open. I still haven't got me one of those boards, but I find this works just fine when you need to emboss just one line like I did on my card here. Hope you like my tip :)
We are this week sponsored by Bunny Zoes
and the monthly sponsor this month is Joanna Sheen
I would like to enter my card in these challenges today.
Thank you for looking today.
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
xx
