Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Hello, it's Wednesday and today I have an appointment at the hospital because I've been having great pains in my back and shoulder.  I've been going to the physio too but I wasn't having any improvements so I'm going there now hopefully this will help! Wish me luck :)  ... The Italians left yesterday morning, and thankfully everything was fine .. so I was really happy and so relieved :)

Anyway, today it's time for a new challenge at
Crafting By Design
It's still too early for Christmas, but we at are having just that :)
Well, not really lol , but that is the theme for our new challenge that started today

HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS

For my card we got to use  an image from our sponsor Drawn By Krista and I chose this sweet penguin. I colored it with my promarkers and cut it up to mount it on some embossed card. More die cuts and of course some fun DP.
Not being in a very crafty mood, I think it turned out quite ok :)
The lucky winner this time will get 3 digi images from our sponsor.

Anything Goes with Crafty Friends

Hello everyone, and a happy weekend to all. I've just been to the hairdresser to do my hair as  tonight we got dinner out planned with friends for the end of the year. Some partying afterwards if hubby is up to it :) Have you done any New Year resolutions ?? I don't usually do but this year I HAVE TO as I stopped all my training and don't like this. .. so I have to do a resolution to start again. Trying to get hubby to come with me but it looks like it's more difficult than finding a pin in a haystack! Will see. Anyway, so this is the last card for this year, a DT one this time for the new challenge that started today at

and of course I had to do another Christmas Card when the theme is
ANYTHING GOES

For my card I decided to use another of my cute Melonheadz stamps ... I did tell you I loved these images and that I would be using the other ones from the set, so here is another one! I got the other ones printed off but still didn't manage to use them yet. Hopefully I will soon.. and they would be ready for Christmas 2017.. and then for once I wouldn't be late in posting them :P

Back to my card. To make up the card this time I didn't use any DP but stamped the background with my snowflakes stamps from Inkadinkadoo. Then I added some other embellishments and a bow to finish it off. Quick and easy and cute of course :)

We are this time sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps and they are offering a $12 voucher to spend in the store to one lucky winner.

Another Christmas Card

Good morning everyone. I am hoping you all had a lovely Christmas :) Unfortunately ours wasn't good at all... in fact I think it was the worst ever for us as we spent it in hospital! Hubby had severe pain due to a kidney stone which started early morning on Christmas day! I took him to hospital and they kept him there for three days until he passed the stone. Luckily, which is quite rare, we were going to be alone at home for Christmas lunch, as we were going to lunch to his brother's but they called it off as they were unwell, so at least we didn't disrupt others as well.

On a positive note,  was really excited with a 5 day booking for the end of year at my rental place in Qawra, Malta :) but it was also during the time when I was going to and fro to hospital so I was really really busy with the preparations and everything and I had no-one to help me.

Anyway, all is good now and he is back home and we are on two days vacation as well :) so I thought I would share this cute Christmas card that I did. I had said that I would be using my other digi stamps from Melonheadz and here is another one.. so cute :)
I colored the image with my promarkers, oldie DP, some die cuts, a sentiment peel off and other small embellishments to finish it off. Love how it turned out and it was quite simple to do.

Here Come the Holidays Card no 2

Hello again and as I said I have two cards today, both Christmas cards and both DT Cards for the new challenge that started today at

The theme for this week is
HERE COME THE HOLIDAYS
Holidays can be any holiday, so you can do any holiday, not just Christmas!
Me not having done much Christmas Cards yet have of course done just those.

So for my second card, I am again using an image from one of our four sponsors, but this time it's from Melonheadz. I colored the image with my promarkers, found some oldie DP and the top die cut is one of those flower dies which you turn around to make up a flower. Well I used it in a different way as you can see :) and I think it came out quite nice.

The image is from a bundle of digis Christmas String Beans and they are all as cute as this one that I am using. I printed off six of them, but unfortunately only managed to use this one for now... but you will surely see me making them up in cards real soon as I just fell in love with them.

Our other three sponsors for this challenge are

Anyway, so onto my DT Cards for today's challenge at

Two Colors

Hello everyone and a happy Wednesday to all. It's another week and so time for another great challenge at

This week we are challenging you to use just TWO COLORS on your projects and of course use the Promarkers to color in your images.

For my card I got to use this fun image of Santa - Simply Santa from our sponsor Dr Digi's House of Stamps, and of course I just used two colors on my card... which are the red and brown.
Dr Digi's House of Stamps

When I was thinking of what colors to use, I had thought a Christmas card would be perfect because I could use the red and green, but then, on coloring the image, I noticed that there was his sack, which I didn't want to color green, so I had to just do with the red and brown. After all, I must say, I was really pleased with how it turned out, and it's something different from the usual red and green. Besides that, I had those background papers for such a long time, which I was never able to use, so I was really pleased with that as well.
To finish off my card I used a sentiment stamp from Crafter's Companion, added two pom poms and a Marianne Design die-cut Christmas tree and some gems as well.

I hope you will come and play with us this week.

Use Something New

Hello and a Happy New Year to all. Hope you had a good start and your 2016 will be a fantastic one. As for me, well I wasn't so well unfortunately, but after I spent two days in bed resting and taking pills and honey and lemon and all that stuff I was so much better by new year's eve and I  managed to go out for dinner with friends. We had booked quite some time ago and I didn't want to disappoint them! Anyway, that went well, and yesterday we had my FIL for lunch which was lovely, we were also invited over by my brother on Wednesday and tonight we are also invited at my brother in law for drinks and finger food. I'm really looking forward for next week, when hopefully everything will fall back into the normal routine and I start eating healthy again, and exercising, as even that took a back seat this week, and hope to get off the two kilos I gained!!!!

Anyway, onto my DT card for today as this week it's time for a new challenge at
Crafty Friends
The theme this week is
USE SOMETHING NEW

The new stuff that I'm using is the digi, Star Angel Sprite which I was lucky to have to make my card from one of our sponsors Aurora Wings. The prize is $15 worth of digis.

and I'm also using a a new die, the Merry Christmas sentiment, which, very lucky me, I had won sometime ago in a challenge here in blogland. It's from Wild Rose Studio and is actually one, but I cut it off in two.

The image I colored it with my promarkers and added glitter to her dress and on the stars on her hair and on the star that she is holding and also all around the DP.

Our second sponsor for this challenge is Pretty Grafik Designs and they are offering a $20 gift voucher to the lucky winner.
I am entering my card in these challenges today:

Another Christmas Card

With Christmas just two days away, I thought I would post one last Christmas card that I did, not that I sent out any this year! Not even one, but we just didn't feel we should with our mum passing away last month. As for the decorations at home, we just put out the crib and baby Jesus and that was all.

Anyway, onto my card, which I should have posted last week btw.. but to tell you the truth I was struggling with the theme , and then I was so busy at the office that I just didn't manage it! So today I thought that it's better late than never... and so here it is!

The image that I used is Holy Night from The Paper Shelter.

I colored it with my promarkers and used three different DPs from two different paperpacks. Two are from a Dovecraft paperpack and the striped one was a freebie in a magazine. There's also two different ribbon, ponsietta die cuts and also a recycled sentiment from another card.

Some exciting news now as I was the lucky winner at the ABC Christmas Challenge and won a fabulous die from their sponsor Wild Rose Studio. yippeee :)

Traditional Christmas

Last week I mentioned that we were planning to go to the beach if the weather was still nice and sunny ... well we did go but we did not swim as the weather wasn't that nice :( In fact, it was cloudy and a bit windy too, so we just had a picnic by the beach, which was still nice. We had lots of goodies to eat and we really enjoyed each others company. Well, it looks like I will have to wait for next year .. and in the meantime we are already preparing for Christmas and making Christmas cards. In fact the theme for this week at
is
TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS

It's the first Christmas card I made for this year and I really enjoyed making it and getting out all my Christmas stuff.  Love the traditional Christmas colors.

The background DP was a freebie paper pack in a magazine, as was the 'Joy to the world' sentiment and the large 'NOEL' banner is recycled from an old Christmas card. I love it when I recycle something or use up something which I've had for quite some time...  like the Christmas tree here to which I added two bells and a bow.

We have two sponsors this week.
The first one is the Stamping Boutique and the image that I am using today is from The Stamping Boutique. Prize is 2 images or 3 images if the entrant has used a Stamping Boutique image.
Our second sponsor for this week is Letraset and here is their prize .. these fabulous new promarkers that have gone on sale in UK and Europe!!! Wow, I'd love that too !!

Some exciting news now as I just found out that I was the lucky winner at Kenny K's Krafty Krew challenge with my card from last week. Looking forward to more Kenny K digis to add to my every growing collection :)
