Autumn Trees/Leaves

As the weather had forecast last Wednesday, we had a nice sunny day... well today it isn't correct.. and I'm really pleased as we should be having rain and instead we have again a nice sunny day, so I can put up the laundry out to dry yay :) ..

mmm .. maybe it will rain tomorrow, I wonder, but that won't bother me now as all my clothes would be dry ha ha :)

Anyway, it's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. The theme for this week is AUTUMN LEAVES/ TREES

I just didn't know what to do till the last minute, and then I found this gorgeous digi image from Digi Doodles, which I thought would be perfect for this theme. I coloured it with my promarkers, papers are from the StitchyBear store, sentiment is from Just Wordz, and the lovely leaves are recycled from an old (not handmade of course) birthday card. I hope you like it.

Men's Cards

A long day yesterday as had to go to Valletta to attend a course, but a very fruitful and interesting one too, given out by a very sweet English lady who made it also so fun ... How lucky for us that she decided to move to Malta five years ago :)

So today it's back to work and since it's Wednesday I have my DT Card for the new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers. Today the theme for us is MEN'S CARDS

Found the theme so difficult this time. Took me ages to come up with something.. and also not totally pleased with how it turned out.. wish I had time to make another one.

For my card I used the sweet camping boy image from our fab sponsor Digi Doodles Shop.

Anything Goes

As expected.. I'm so busy at the office now and we got the end of the financial year coming up next month so we have auditors as well!!! Awww how I wish I was still on vacation leave.. but of course all good things come to an end and I have to go to work ...... I do try to play the lotto he he but no luck :P  .. Ooops I am really moaning today.. sorry ... so better get to my card for the day as

Gold, Silver, Bronze

Hello again.. another card for me this week yay..... So my card this time I made it for the new challenge starting today at I ♥ Promarkers and the theme for this week is

BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD

Of course, you don't have to use all three, just one will do and so I decided to use the gold for my card and made a Christmas Card

using one of the gorgeous images from our sponsor Digi Doodles. 

A quick card again today .. and a quick post too it seems. .. Well I'll be back with some challenges as soon as I come back from work... or from the beach .. not decided yet if I'm going to the beach or not today as as tonight I have our Annual Staff Summer Party and I'm going of course :P  There's be some dancing, lots of food and meeting lots of colleagues from other departments.

I'm so late with my card today. ... I totally forgot yesterday to prepare my post. Anyway, here I am now, better late than never and today I have my DT Card for the new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers.

The theme for this week is one you're going to love

ANYTHING GOES 

And this week it was time for all the DT girls to use one of the gorgeous images from Digi Doodles who is our sponsor this week... I definitely didn't mind at all, I've grown to love these stamps so much, and they are so beautiful to colour.

For my card today I used some lovely papers from a Dovecraft paperpack, a Martha Stewart border punch, sentiment from LOTV, my new gorgeous rattle die, which I had got from here, and flowers, ribbon and lace  to finish it off. Image is of course coloured with my ProMarkers.

And I got some exciting news too .. two news :D .. totally different 

So first I did the Top 3 at Here Come The Boys with this card

   

and then, my other news.. totally different and nothing to do with cardmaking :P .. Well I got a promotion at work and been promoted to a managerial grade :D woo hooo .. I've had an indication about this, but it's official now as from next Monday! I'm so excited about this, never been so happier :) .. ... Sooo as from next Monday I do not wear a uniform anymore and soooo I have been so busy shopping in the last few days .. I have also been dieting and doing also some exercise as well, as I have got quite a few clothes in which I do not fit anymore and think would be suitable to wear at the office. I also however had to increase a bit my working hours as from next Monday as well, so I'll be a little busier from now on too. Anyway I better go now, as I have some alterations to do on some clothes :P ..

Bead It

Well finally!!.. I managed to use some of my new goodies woot woot :D Before I had left last week I hadn't managed to finish my DT Card for this week's new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers, so obviously my hands went on my new stuff to make this card.

Of course, not everything on this card is new, just some of it, like the Memory Box scroll die, the Marianne Creatables border die, and the pretty pink ribbon, all goodies which I got from the NEC. The paper is an oldie one from Papermania, which I had for a very long time ...

... and the gorgeous beads were a gift from Karen. So beautiful I think, and she made them herself too.. o wow!! and lucky me too :) .. just in time and perfect for our BEAD IT Challenge this week!

Another Sailing Boat

After all the male cards I did, I understandably was still in the male making cards mood so another male themed card today, with another sailing boat image. This time the image is a digi one from Digi Doodles Shop's Best. 

I printed the image on cream coloured card today, and did the little colouring I had to do with promarkers. The birds are a clear stamp from an Inkadinkadoo stamp set and the beautiful striped paper and the sentiment are a digi download from Polka Doodles. The anchor embellishment was a picture on a wrapping paper. I cut it out, stuck it onto thick card and then cut round it. So that's another card going in my box today.

A Sketch

It's such a long time since I did a male card, but having an ordered one to do, I just couldn't avoid it ha ha .. so seeing the sketch for this week's new challenge at I ♥ PROMARKERS I thought it would be perfect to use for this card that I had to do.

The image that I used today is from Digi Doodle and I coloured it with Acquamarkers .. I can't remember when I used them last.. but I thought they would be perfect to use with this image so I plucked up some courage and used these this time. I loved the result, but I still feel I need more practice with them. The papers are from a really oldie paper pack from Papermania.. some card candy  to finish it off and hey ho.. that's it.. these men cards are so quick sometimes !

Purple and Pink

Hello, good morning everyone. Hope weather is nice wherever you are. This is a scheduled post today as not sure if I'll have time after work. Hubby had to go to London on work today, and won't be back before Saturday evening, so I'm going to be a bit busy this week.... I wonder if he will find some crafty goodies to get me : D

Another Baby Card

This month I made two baby cards, both for boys, so I just had to make a Baby Girl as well... always come in handy. For my card this time I used one of my favourite baby girl stamps that I had purchased from Digi Doodles Shops Best quite some time ago. 

I coloured her with my promarkers, the little pretty flowers are from My Mum's Craft Shop and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley. Today I attached some pink paper for the inside, thought that the die-cut border at the bottom would show up more when the card is closed.  I love how it turned out .. mmmm just the bow... must go fix it!

Not A Christmas Card

.. yes for a change.. it's not that I won't be doing any more, but for today I got this birthday card which I done for a friend.. and a really quick one too it had to be, as haven't been indoors much these last few days. Yesterday, Christmas Day, first family visiting and then for the day at hubby's brother. Today, out for the day again, lunch out in Valletta and then went to see the Chronicles of Narnia. Fantastic film, we all loved it and a lovely day well spent will family. It's what I love about Christmas and what Christmas is all about ...

But back to my card now, I hope our friend will take the joke .. ha ha :) As soon as I saw these penguins I just fell in love with them and now I thought they were just perfect for the card I wanted.

The fun penguins stamp is from Digi Doodle Shop's Best, the sentiments I just printed off on the computer, and to do the stamping I used my Inkadinkadoo clear stamps set. Doesn't show much, don't get good photos indoors, but there is embossing on the circles and star as well.

Play Ball Ragga Mutt

Hi girls, here I am again ... just two days this week unfortunately ...but I got me two cards today, and I'll be here again tomorrow as well, so it will be three, and four as I have a card for Sunday as well.... unless I manage something else for Saturday too he he ! I'm so busy at the moment with all sorts of things but I'm really hoping to get back to normal sooooooon..................

Hi girls, how are you doing ? Hope you are having a good week. I've got two cards today.......

This is my first one and it's my card for this week's challenge at Digi Doodles Shop Best where I am a Guest for this month :))) I chose this magical Angel & Harp stamp for my card today and the challenge this week is ANYTHING GOES!

No need to say that I coloured her with my promarkers ..... I really loved colouring her in, she is sooo beautiful. The papers I'm using today are magazine freebies but I stamped some stars on them with gold ink, using my new stamps which I got this week. With the same gold ink I then distressed the edges, added some gold dots and also sewed around for some more challenges.

Digi Doodles Shop Best GDT

You may remember me saying sometime this week that I won at Digi Doodles Shop Best and that I was also asked to be a Guest Designer for this month... well, here's my first card... woot woot :)) I'm always so excited when this happens he he ..

The theme for this week's challenge 33 is to make a MANLY PROJECT ... not the easiest of themes for me, I can tell you. For my card I used one of the many beautiful scene stamps available at Digi Doodles Shops Best and this time I coloured stamp with my Acquapromarkers and then added some chalk as well. The papers are from the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.

I love making baby cards, so I really love it when I need to make one :)

For my card I used the stamp Sleeping Infant from Digi Doodle Shop's Best, which I coloured with my promarkers and for my embossing I used an embossing ruler which was a freebie in one of the issues of the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazines last year .... Awww I wish they would do more of these type of freebies, I'm all the time using them, they're so useful!!
