Paper Piecing

Hello there, it's Saturday, so it's time for another new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and as I was saying yesterday today I'm going to be on a team activity with my colleagues. ... and soooo no housework for me today he he :P Of course, I did some stuff on Thursday but I'd be doing so much more if I were home today ...  Anyway the challenge for this week is PAPER PIECING

For my card I decided to use this gorgeous image from Sassy Studio Designs as after seeing Regan's card some time ago I wanted to also take this sassy girl out of the glass. So fun and really loved how it turned out.. especially the paper piecing too. 

It's been some time since I did paper paper piecing.. always forgetting it.

If you've never tried it, give it a go, you'll love it for sure....

and it's a good time too to give it a try.

Sassy Girl

A different card for me today.... a very quick one too it was..

I did the colouring with my promarkers of this sassy cutie from Sassy Studio Designs and the beautiful paper did the job for me ... I just added some pearls and a nice bow!!!

I am entering it for the challenge at Passion for Pro Markers where the theme this week is COLOURS OF OLD PHOTOGRAPHS, at at Dare to be Sassy Challenge, the theme being ANYTHING GOES and also at Stamp Something for the DIGI STAMP theme. Hope you like it :)

It's Summer!

Yes, it's officially Summer today and so I was inspired to make a summery card today.. not that it's anything like Summer here in Malta!!! No.. the weather is awful.. very windy, rained a bit and quite cool as well. . . but still.. I'm doing a summery card :)



The image I'm using today is one from Sassy Studio Designs.. don't know why I don't use these stamps more often, they're so sassy :) ... and it was a freebie as well... coooool !!!

I coloured stamp with my promarkers and colour I did, over and over again especially that towel!!! Wanted to create some depth and shading! I'm not surprised some of them are calling it a day... The papers were in my stash and I bought the yellow flowers when I was on holiday last year. There's some paper piercing which I did with my sewing machine and then I also stamped the background with my daisy stamp!!!

This is the sketch that I followed... loved it as soon as I saw it .. !!!

Sassy Studio

A very quickie one today as had my mum over and was really busy, so didn't have time to do my card for the last day of the Sassy Studio Anniversary 4 Day Relay until now....

Today's image was The Sassy Hatter and as soon as I saw her I immediately remembered some tea time papers I had... I thought they were just right for this card! I made this card also for the I ♥ ProMarkers Challenge No 17 which is a recipe this week .. 2 different papers, 3 buttons and 1 ribbon!!!

Hi, here I am again today with another card... never before have I posted two cards on three consecutive days in a row... it's a record :)

My card now, is for the 3rd day of the Sassy Anniversary 4 Day Relay and some other challenges as well!!

This time we were given the Bewitched stamp to play with and as always, I used my promarkers to colour the image, hope you like it!

Hi, I'm here again today with another post, a quickie one it has to be as it's past midnight here... What happened, is that when I came back home, I found the second image in my inbox for the Sassy Studios Anniversary 4 day Relay and again we only have til tomorrow 9am to complete our project. So, I just decided to finish it off as it's back to work tomorrow!!!

Here is my card. I decided to go monochromatic, use some embossing paper and add some swirls and pearls for some other challenges too, and then I added some feathers to match the ones on her hair. For the flowers I used my newest Martha Stewart punch which is one of the two punches I bought myself for my birthday this month :)) Gorgeous isn't it! Hope you like it. And oh by the way, the princess is coloured with my promarkers.. obviously ... what else :) oooo these pens are awesome!!



So, I am entering this card in the Sassy Anniversary 4 Day Relay - Day 2

It's raining here in Malta... well it was, now it's sunny again, but we ended up inside. Me didn't complain, here I am with a card I made :)

This time I am using a Sassy Studio stamp, which happens to be a freebie at the moment for the Sassy Studios Anniversary 4day Relay!!! I didn't think I'd make it as the challenge was to create a card using this freebie in ONE DAY, but here I am, hoping I'm in time.

Fishes

I made another card today and this time it's an Engagement Card. Maybe you are saying.. but why the FISH??? Well, it happens that the persons getting engaged are divers :) and so, after searching unsuccessfully, for some divers in love digi stamps, I got me these cute little darlings which I coloured with my promarkers ... I think they will do just the same, won't they?
