A Flashback!

Hi girls, hope you're having a great day... Had another card planned for today, but somehow the bluetooth doesn't want to work today and couldn't transfer the photo from my mobile to the PC!!! Aaarggh !

So I finally gave up, but being the official day of my 1st Year Blogaversary, I just couldn't let today go by without posting anything and so I thought what better day than today to post a card for the Flashback Friday Challenge!

I came across this challenge only last week and immediately wanted to join in as well, seems so fun :) Anyway, the Flashback this week is on our First Glitter Card and here is mine, posted on Monday 10th May last year, you can see the post here.. I had forgotten all about this card!! and even the stamp.. woops :)

Now, as you might know I got candy on at the moment, to celebrate my 1st Year Blogaversary, but I'm keeping it open 'till the 24th of February, as I am celebrating my taking part in a Craft Exhibition as well. So I thought I would hold a mini surprise candy today for one of my regular followers who leave a comment today :)) How d'you like that :) ? So just leave a comment today, on this post, and I will pick the winner tomorrow.

A Baby Card

I'm sure you all know by now how much I love baby cards.... so when I saw Carissa's lovely baby card, using this adorable Chubby Angel stamp... I just had to have him as well he he :))

... and here is what I did.... a very simple card, my mojo seems to be in this mood at the moment!!! ... but I still loved how it turned out.. can't really go wrong with this adorable cute little teddy!

The lovely papers are Papermania, border punch is Martha Stewart, image coloured with my promarkers and the sentiment is a peel-off.... which was blue, but I coloured it black with my promarkers! Thought it would smudge away but no it didn't! Wow these promarkers are awesome, love them kiss kiss kiss he he :)

Stamp Fairy Friday

Yay it's Friday, I love Fridays as it's the last day of the week and it's release time at Stamp Fairy! We have this adorable Clementine bunny today.... isn't she cute, just perfect for some Easter cards :)  

I decided to leave my lovely bunny all white, so just a little colouring today with my promarkers, but I think she came out so cute. The background Easter paper is from a Papermania Paper Pack and the green one was from a magazine freebie, either Cardmaking and Papercraft or Quick Cards, can't remember which one. Thought they really matched so well together.

My Favourite Things

The challenge this week at Crafty Sentiments is MY FAVOURITE THINGS... an easy one today, yay! so I chose embossing, promarkers and teddies for my favourite things... what's yours? 

For my card I used this cute stamp from the new Patches and Stitch stamp set, which I have coloured with my promarkers and a gorgeous flower and brown ribbon from the candy that I won from Jacque last December. Today I am trying out the other Nestabilites which I bought last week, I really don't know how I managed without them before, they are so easy and quick to use, love them!!

A 100th Birthday!

Once in a while I get asked to do a card... and this time I was asked to make a card for someone's 100th birthday!!! Wow!

Well, she wanted the card to be very large, didn't want any images on the card and she just wanted the number 100 in the centre. This was really out of my comfort zone, a big challenge .... I don't like to do very large cards and I've never made a card without any stamps before, but anyway seeing how important it was for her, I tried and this is what I managed to do .... and SHE loved it ... ME ? well, Ok I think.. What do you think?

I printed the number 100 from a Word document on pink and white card and then cut them out with my scissors. The sentiment is also computer generated.

I thought my card was just perfect for this week's challenge at Charisma Cardz which is MAGIC NUMBERS, more magical than this can't really get :))

A Christmas Card

My son yesterday came home from school with just one shoe! He said it flew off from his foot into an abandoned field when he kicked something...  and he couldn't find it. These kids... . I didn't know if to laugh or fume ... but it WAS funny!!!! Anyway, I decided we should go searching for it again and found it .. phew.. it was a pair of new shoes just bought.... Writing this now, I'm thinking again about my lost stamps... wonder if I'll ever find them....

I got my one a week Christmas Card today.... so far I'm managing it, yay :)))

For my card today I used this adorable and sweet Night Angel from Stitchy, which I coloured with my promarkers, some papers, flowers and ribbon from my stash and did lots of stitching again today.

Wish I finished my card before because it's dark now and photos do come out better in the daylight.

Stamp Fairy Friday

An Antique Card

Hi everyone, it's time for another challenge at Crafty Sentiments and the theme this week is ANTIQUE ... Not an easy one for me, in fact I only did another one of these cards before, but then, when I finish them, I always love the end result :)  So why I don't do these type of cards more often, I really don't know!!! 

For my card today I decided to use this sweet Teddy With Rose stamp which I coloured with my promarkers and one of the lovely new Valentine Sentiments from Crafty Sentiments. 

Instead of my usual stitching, today I tried some distressing around the edges of the paper and the stamp. The paper is from a Papermania pack, flower punch is Martha Stewart and for the scrolls I used my Tim Holtz On The Edge die.

Another Baby Card

Well, so I'm back, with a card now ... he he  :) I can't believe I managed to do a card today ..   I'm always busy busy during the week taxi driving my kids somewhere and we're going to the scouts as well now! Anyway, back to my card, it's really a very quick one, that is why I managed to do it, and I had already started it yesterday.

For my card today I'm using my new cute cute Oh Boy stamp, which I coloured with my promarkers, the border punch is Martha Stewart, and I cut the lovely oval beaded shape with my new Spellbinders Nestabilities. 

I didn't have the TAN embossing mats which you need to do the embossing, actually I didn't know I needed these woops :) ... but somehow I managed for now. Couldn't wait to get me some .... 

.... I LOVE these Nestabllities ..  and don't think they are my last ... he he :) 

I did faux stitching today for a quickie and the booties were in a pack of embellishment ready made.

Goodies in the Mail

This is what my postman delivered this weekend and which is why I've been a little away .....

So, there were the all so sweet sweet stuff that I won from Jacque last month and it was just perfect for me as there were some lovely gorgeous ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, flowers :) yummy yummy truffles and also a lovely mini magnolia stamp. Thank you Jacque :))  Just a shout out that she regularly has sweet stuff on her blog so you might want to pop on over and check it out!!

And then there were the two clear stamps that I won from the December Gem of A Challenge and the two Spellbinders Nestablities that I bought from the shop as well... forgot to take the picture of another goody I bought... a pearl spray!

Something else that I received some time ago is this lovely 12x12in paper pad. A long time ago I had saw on someone's blog that you could sign up for the Colorbok Club and they would send you a free paper pack. I so signed up, thinking it was some spam, but hey it wasn't. It's really nice and there are sticker sheets, glitter ones and punch out ones as well. Definitely worth checking out.

All these goodies is reminding me that my first year blogaversary is coming up and I still haven't thought up of anything!!! Seems flowers are really popular  mmmmm... I'll think up of something real soon so keep a lookout :)  but now I'll be back with a card I made using my lovely new baby Cutie stamp :)

Lily With Flowers

Hey, I have another card today, but a really quick post as going out now .. yippeee :)) So happy as been inside for so long I'm really bored now, actually not bored... just longing to go out in the nice sunny warm day here, should be ok...

I thought she would be fantastic for a New Year card.... came out more Christmassy then I wished for, but I'm still so pleased with it as it came out so colourful, and anyway, I still haven't done my one a week Christmas Card :)

I had so much fun colouring my image with my promarkers and trying to get it look like she is sitting IN the cup, and this is my second attemp!!! Lots of glitter today and some gold/bronze coloured mesh which I've had in my stash for so long, but I think it was perfect here. I'm so pleased I used it. Good News and a Card

Hello hello hellooooo :)) I have another post today ... a longish one too as I got lots and lots of news ...

So first  - my friend had her baby yesterday, and it's a little cutie boy :)) Woo hoo can't wait to see. ..

Second news .. there is another baby on the way, actually two, the wife of one of my colleagues and another colleague of mine, who told us yesterday that she is three months pregnant with her first baby :) I'm so happy for her!!! Must get me a card done ..

Third news... and hear this one now .. I'm SO EXCITED.. no no I'm not pregnant ha ha :)) hoo hoo :))

feel my excitement...

well ..

a craft exhibition is going to be organised at the Bank where I work for its employees and obviously I applied.. that was quite a few months ago... well, guess what ... I'VE BEEN CHOSEN !!! Woo hoo hoo :))  I'm soooo excited! There will also be a catalogue, with our photo, write-up and one of our projects! I'm so glad I kept most of the cards I was doing last year.. just in case I was chosen, 'cos, knowing me, I'm sure I wouldn't have managed to make anything in time. It will be held next month .. really can't wait!!!

And more more good news .. told you it's a long one..

I WON A CHALLENGE   :))   yippeee!!!

Yes, the December Gem of a Challenge with my Liittle Red Robin card. I get two clear stamps of my choice from the store :)) .... And browsing the store I just couldn't help myself ordering two sets of Nestibilites as well.... didn't have any of these and had been dying to get me one as they look lovely. So now I'm really looking forward for the postman to come knocking at my door ha ha :)

Wow all this good news made me forget the bad cold I still have..  :) I think it's better I go in the afternoon for my daily walk not early morning.. !!!

O yes, I have a card as well now. A baby card for my friend of course. Really love how it turned out.

For this card I used one of my Pink Cat Studio stamps which I'm using for the first time, some yellow flowers and of course one of my Martha Stewart punches. There's stitching all around ... I've grown to love stitching so much and feel there's something missing when I don't do this! I did the sentiment with the computer as the one in the set didn't fit in my card.

Stamp Fairy Friday

Hello everyone, are you ready for another new release from Stamp Fairy? 

.... and here's today release, something really different from last time, as Gerda is thinking of Summer already and has some adorable mermaid stamps for us today. A real cutie ...

I decided I wanted to go monochrome today with my card and so I coloured my mermaid with different shades of blue promarkers, adding some glitter for a final touch. The sentiment is computer generated with some free fonts I had found on the internet and I did the embossing with one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders. Quite a simple card for me today, but I really loved how it turned out.

Stamp Fairy Challenge

Hi everyone, it's Monday, how was your weekend and New Year's Day? Wow we were so busy yesterday... had my family over for lunch and been up preparing and cooking from early morning.. It was lovely being all together, pity I forgot to take some photos! Kids still on holiday this week, another week off for them but back to work for me after a whole week on vacation... don't you just wish you were still a kid :)

Anyways, it's time now for a new challenge at Stamp Fairy and this week we have a Blog Hop for you as well to celebrate the new Design Team ... with lots of lovely prizes hidden among the DT blogs along with the weekly challenge prize ... woo hoo... . Definitely something you shouldn't miss out! The challenge theme is 'Celebrate with a Colour Explosion', and so I made a birthday card using Betty Perfect Day and using the most colourful papers I could find in my stash. 

I coloured Betty with my promarkers, used my Martha Stewart punches and did some handmade flowers today as I didn't have any red ones to match my papers. There's lots of glitter all around as well.
