Two boring long days over finally...... The only good thing was that I was in Valletta and I could do some errands and some shopping in my lunch break he he 

Anyways, knowing that I would be able to go to the post office I quickly set off to prepare some cards which I needed to post. This is one of them which I made for my other brother who lives in Australia. His birthday is next month and I am so happy to be sending this so early ... in fact, one of the other cards I sent yesterday was a belated card ... so belated  : |  ... not showing that for now, until she receives it. Hope she likes it and errmm forgives me .......

For my card I used papers from Bearly-Mine, stars done with my Die Namics stars die which I had got from Simon Says and border punch with my MS stars punch.

The stamp was a freebie in the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, coloured it with my promarkers and today I tried to do some clouds as well... was really nervous about it, so it doesn't show much, but next time I will try to be bolder.

A Sketch with Stamp Fairy

Hello morning everyone, it's Monday, and today (and tomorrow as well) I going to be in Valletta to attend a work related course..... so, long hours again..... boo..... One good thing though is that I can hop to the post office in my lunch break he he  

... before I forget... but I'm sure you heard, Malta voted YES to legalize divorce yesterday... so it just has to go through Parliament now and then we will join the rest of the world, except the Philippines I think, that has divorce!

Anyway, I have my DT card for this week's Stamp Fairy Challenge today. The challenge this week is to follow a sketch and for my card I used Lenny Notes. The image comes blank without the sentiment, I did that on the computer before printing out the digi.

Coloured him with my promarkers, and popped up the Thank You note and hands. To do the buttons I used my Martha Stewart punch, the embossing with an embossing folder which I had got from The Secret Crafter Shop and the gorgeous ribbon is from Debby.. love this ribbon, thanks again Debby xxx

OSAAT - 64

Hi everyone, good morning, it's Sunday, so it's time for another fun challenge at One Stitch At A Time. The challenge this week is 4TH OF JULY or PICNICS and for my card today I was given one of Kelly's Kids new gorgeous images to work with. Didn't have any picnic related stuff so I decided to go for the red blue white colours.

Quite a simple card today.... just used two DPs, one border punch, and a new banner stamp which I received last week in the post.

It is quite by chance that I got it, as when I finally found out with which magazine it came free, I also found out it was sold out...  but luck was with me as a really nice guy at the publishing company said he had an extra one and said he would send it over to me ........ waaa hooo... I couldn't believe it, was so excited. .. and there are more stamps in the set too... so you'll be seeing more of this fun stamp  :)

Just For You

Malta is voting today if we want divorce or not! Having grown up with no divorce, marriage for life thoughts, was really unsure if or what to vote, but anyway, finally I went and voted! So we will see tomorrow what the outcome will be... 

I made this card today for some fun challenges, using some of my new goodies :) For my card today I used one of my Pollycraft digi images, coloured it with my promarkers, papers from a magazine free gift and the Marianne Creatables Doily is one of my new purchase... like?

The sentiment and gorgeous fun ribbon are from Debby... can you see I made sure I didn't hide any part of the ribbon he he, I love it. Thanks again Debby xx

And these flowers I did them using the English Rose die, another of my new purchase. Couldn't get them right immediately and nearly gave up, but then I remembered my quilling tool.. and hey ho... the job was done!

More Butterflies

Hi girls, sorry for being a bad blogger this week. Had some long days at work this week and today a course after work as well...boo for the hours, but yay for the course, really enjoyed it and also goodies to eat as well...yum! 

Have a VERY QUICK and VERY SIMPLE card today!!!  I really wanted to try another butterflies card for the Less Is More Challenge with more white space.... errm really not good with these.... but anyway, I really wanted to try another one.

I was inspired to do my card by this card I received from Kathy for my birthday and so I dug out my four squared stamp which I never used and some butterfly stamps from MS, which I also never used!!! O well I tried...........  

Anyway I got some goodies in my mail this week. These are from Chrissy ..he he we like to send goodies to each other, loved these, thank you Chrissy xxx .. and I also received more goodies which I had ordered, so fun, dies, card candy, stamps ...........

A Butterfly

The challenge at Less Is More this week is butterflies. I'm not good with this style of cards, and find it so difficult, so only joined once so far, but anyway, when I saw this week's theme, I thought it was an opportunity to use my Pergamano Butterfly stamp set again, so I decided to have a go. .. 

I hope you like it at least, as I'm still not sure if I do or not. For the background I used a gorgeous Hero Arts rubber stamp which I had won from Simon Says Stamps some time ago, the 'Just for you' sentiment was a magazine freebie stamp and the dotted circles are from my Inkadinkadoo Circles and Spots stamp set. Today I also added some glittered 3D paint on the butterfly.

Strawberry Delight

Today, after coming home from work, I found myself inking up this little sweetie from this month's Crafty Sentiments new release..... .....

I coloured the image with my promarkers, papers were magazine freebies and the sentiment stamp is from a Hero Arts Stamp Set. The butterfly stamps are not with the main stamp.. but freebie ones from the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine ... I added them in the last minute when I saw some new challenges coming up today.... This is why I love challenges so much, didn't think about adding them before I saw the challenges, I think they came out really nice. ...  : )

Balloons

Hello, morning everyone, how was your weekend? Mine was so awesome! On Saturday went to the Malta Fashion Awards with my friend and her mates AND THEN .... woot woot ........ had the most fabulous time when we went off partying to a disco till the early hours of the morning!!!!! Yippeee I loved it, such a long time since I went dancing. Hubby DOESN'T like dancing and so I just have to don't go and I miss it so much. Needless to say, I was really tired the next day that I slept in .. guess my age is getting to me ha ha...

But onto my card now, it's time for another StampFairy Challenge today and this time we want to see BALLOONS .. one two or more ... somewhere on your project. For my card I used the cute Donny teddy bear dressed up as a ladybird and coloured him with my promarkers.

The 'Happy Happy' tag and sentiment are from a Hero Arts stamp set, leaf punch MS and card candy in the corners which I coloured black with my promarkers.

Quick Male Cards

Today I thought I would post some pics of some male ordered cards I was doing .... all quickie ones using the fantastic clear stamp set from Inkadinkadoo... 

This one wanted some Teck Deck skateboards on the card.. I just printed two that I found on the internet, cut them out and popped them up with foam.. some polka dot paper from The Cutting Cafe, die cut stars ..

and I did the sentiment on the computer using the font Pass the Checks ... love it!

Very similar this one... sorry about the poor photo. Some embossed circles now.

.. and another, very similar as well with embossing on the stars and circles. I cut the stars myself on this one as wanted them a bit larger. The sentiment is a wood rubber stamp from DoCrafts I think. Had it for such a long time, hardly ever used it.

Got me some fabulous news now, Mr Postie knocked on my door and brought me these two gorgeous birthday cards from my lovely blogger friends Corry and Kathy woo hoo thank you girls, so much appreciated... I think I will have to CASE these, love them :)

A Card for a Child

Hello everyone, thank you for all your lovely birthday wishes yesterday. Had a fabby day crafting, hubby took us all out for dinner and also brought me a gorgeous bunch of flowers yesterday, loved it... no card though and neither from the kids :( and then I was moaning so much that my older son went off to buy me one woops.. am I so bad?.... 

Well it was back to work today, and today I have my DT Card for today's challenge at Crafty Sentiments. This week we want to see CHILDREN'S CARDS. 

For my card today I decided to use this sweet teddy from the Patches and Stitch clear stamp set and coloured him with my promarkers. 

Some paper piecing today, embossing, punching and die cutting as well... so many different stuff in one card today ... and I am so excited to be using my Martha Stewart Stars punch today. Remember me saying I broke one of my punches, well that is the one I broke BUT I got it replaced!!! All I had to do was show them a photo of my broken punch and that's it, they sent me another one!!! Woo hooo now isn't that fantastic!
