Make Your Own Background Paper

Hello everyone. Not one of my best cards this week unfortunately. I can't see my mojo anywhere near at the moment, well in Summer I hardly see it at all... I'm always so busy enjoying Summer but this time I'm also so busy at the office staying so late and with the Auditors coming as from next Monday I don't think I'll be leaving any earlier at all from now :( .. 

Anyway, onto my card now which I made for the new challenge that started yesterday at I ♥ Promarkers and this week we are challenging you to make your own Background Paper.

Not an easy one for me, being like I am at the moment, but then I remembered a really large rubber stamp that I have, Cover-a-Card from Impression Obsession. I inked it using three different colored inks and stamped it on my card. I really loved how it turned out and so pleased too that I got to use this stamp.

Photo Inspiration

Hello everyone, hope everyone is fine and well. Just returned from work, luckily a little bit earlier today, but I'll soon have to be out again for the Insanity and Bokwa fitness classes!! So busy.. where are those days when I used to spend day after day making cards and blog away happily?

The theme for this week is a PHOTO INSPIRATION and this is what I did.

 

For my card this week I used this really cute SWALK rubber stamp from Crafter's Companion which I was so so lucky to have received as a gift from Karen. She must have known that I find these stamp so VERY cute :) Thanks again Karen, love love love it :) xx

Anything Goes

It was back to work for me this week, after one week off, and I can tell you I didn't like it at all as I'm having to stay long hours up till after 6.00pm to make up :(

So of course I ended up posting my DT card a day late this week!!!

Fancy Folds

For me it is always so difficult to craft in Summer and with hubby on vacation leave, I didn't even manage to make a card last week!!! .. But not this time, as I'm on vacation leave too, so it was easier to find some time to spend in my craft room to make my DT Card for this week.

is FANCY FOLDS

I don't do much these type of fancy fold cards and then I always tend to do the easel, but this time I decided to try something different and so I did the Gatefold card instead. I had done this type of card only once before so it felt really good doing it again, and it was quite easy too.

 

The image that I used is from Bugaboo stamps, colored it with my promarkers, and the papers, which I've had for a very very long time, are from Trimcraft. I just added card candy, the sentiment and twine to my card and that's it! I thought it was too full already with the lovely papers. I did try to add something more, but just couldn't!
