A Sketch

It's such a long time since I did a male card, but having an ordered one to do, I just couldn't avoid it ha ha .. so seeing the sketch for this week's new challenge at I ♥ PROMARKERS I thought it would be perfect to use for this card that I had to do.

The image that I used today is from Digi Doodle and I coloured it with Acquamarkers .. I can't remember when I used them last.. but I thought they would be perfect to use with this image so I plucked up some courage and used these this time. I loved the result, but I still feel I need more practice with them. The papers are from a really oldie paper pack from Papermania.. some card candy  to finish it off and hey ho.. that's it.. these men cards are so quick sometimes !

Shaped Cards

Hello good morning everyone. It's time for another new challenge at Crafty Sentiments and this week we are challenging you to make a SHAPED CARD with us.

It's such a long time since I did a shaped card, and whenever I did one, I always did a circle easel but this time, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try something different so I did a cupcake shaped card! 

The image that I am using is the sweet Rosey Fun Time digi. I coloured her with promarkers and then popped her up with foam for dimension. 

I couldn't help adding lotsa stuff on my card... ribbon, a chipboard cherry, faux stitching, bubble dots and some gorgeous punched flowers from the sweet Karen to finish it off. 

I had so much fun making this card.. does it show ?

An Easter Card

I am so late with my OSAAT DT Card today.. So sorry! We were in Gozo with friends for the weekend and thinking I would have internet connection where we were staying I said I would create my post while there but unfortunately we didn't ..  so here I am now, just returned home and soo late posting my card!

Anyways... it's a Big Collab Week this time and the theme is EASTER.

The beautiful Easter image that I am using is from Digi Blessings and I have coloured it with my promarkers.

 Quite a simple card today, with some oldie paper from Papermania, gingham ribbon and two bubble dots to finish it off. These are all the images in the Big Collab, and you will get all these images for free with a purchase of $12 from the store.

Linda Spring

It is not Spring yet, but it definitely is for Linda.. We have the new Friday release at Stamp Fairy and this week it's time for Linda Spring.. isn't she a sweetie. I definitely had to use fresh spring colours for my card, so I chose some gorgeous papers from a Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose Collection paper pad, which was a free gift in the Quick Cards magazine quite some time ago.

I coloured Linda with my promarkers, rolled roses today and doily dies from Marianne Design, the border punch is Martha Stewart, while the little leaves are again from the sweet Karen :D 

Some ribbon and a little butterfly from Anita's to finish it off.. which reminds me that there is also a pack of these pretty butterflies in my candy.. don't forget to join in if you haven't, still some time!

Time

It is a nicer day today ...not that veery nice, but at least it's not raining, well just good enough to take a picture of my card yay :)

This is my DT Card for today and I made it for the new challenge at I ♥ PROMARKERS.

The theme for this week's challenge is

TIME 

You'll never imagine how many options there are for this theme.. check out what my other teamies did.. I decided on Party Time and used this sweet image from LOTV Cherry on Top .. thought it was perfect for this theme.

I coloured my image with promarkers, the border and leaf punches are Martha Stewart and the gorgeous paper is from this month's freebie gift with the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. Sentiment is from Just Wordz, while the pretty little butterfly is again from Karen ... just perfect match with the paper I think :)

Two Designer Paper

Can't believe it was such a nice sunny day on Sunday and now it's raining so much ! So of course couldn't take a decent photo of my card.  I thought I would wait for it to stop ..  but no luck .. hasn't stopped since yesterday :( 

Anyways, can't keep my Crafty Sentiments DT Card waiting any longer! This week's theme is 

USE TWO DESIGNER PAPER

The image that I used today is one of the newest Easter images at Crafty Sentiments, Bunny Suit, and I coloured her with my promarkers. The lovely papers are really oldie ones from Papermania, the fun chick is a foam sticker, while the flowers are paper ones, but I added glitter on the yellow ones to match them with the foam chickie .. love how it turned out, wish I had a better picture.

It is such a nice sunny day here, we will soon be going out, so I thought I would share some more photos from Friday's Carnival party before going out.

I'm so late with my Sweet Stampin' DT Card today.. mojo is/was (don't know) still away. So rather than make a card which I wasn't totally pleased with, I decided to keep on trying until I was happy with the end result. .. well  now I am so here it is finally..

The challenge for this week is BINGO, so you have to choose three in a row from this bingo card.. or more if you like, like I did! I used the line Lace, Ribbon, Pearls and also Charms, Punches, Pearls.

Lucky girls, this week we're sponsored by Crafts & Me and we could all choose a digi from their store.

I chose this beautiful Twilight Fairy stamp and coloured her with a mix of promarkers (the skin) and copics as well, and then added some glitter to finish it off.

More glitter on the sides... papers are from a gorgeous S.E.I 12x12 paper pad, flowers were from my stash, the leaves die-cuts are Marianne while the pretty punched butterfly is from the sweet Karen.

I had sent her some die-cuts and so she sent me all these in return, along with one of her most beautiful cards. THANK YOU SO MUCH Karen, am going to have so much fun with these.

Clementine

Finally I have a card this week! My mojo is slowly returning.. but I've been so busy too as hubby has been staying later at work too, so I have been doing everything by myself here at home, including the cooking and all the taxi driving, this besides having other things on my mind as well.

Well one thing is over now, I had to find something to wear for a Carnival Party I'm going tonight and then I'm also planning another trip .. for the weekend of the 24th March.. to the UK! Does it ring a bell ???? I am soooo excited about it, but I will tell you all about it later on as I'm still at the planning stage .. never travelled alone before :|

Anyway, as I said I have a card today.. yippee :) and I made it for this week's new release at Stamp Fairy! Been some time since I played with my Stamp Fairy stamps so seeing the cute Clementine Spring, I decided to try reviving my mojo he he

Today I coloured my image with a mix of promarkers (the hat) and Spectrum noir pens as well. Had won these but never used them yet and well today I wanted to try them out... they're quite nice I think. The butterfly paper is Papermania, while the other was in a magazine's free gift. The lovely border die is from Crafty Sentiments, while the other is Marianne.

A Candy Alert and some Photos

Hello again.. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. I should have a card today for the new challenge at Crafty Sentiments, but I haven't managed it this week :( ........... Always, after I return from a holiday, my mojo just takes some time to return home but I'm so busy too with staying later at work after my holiday, so just didn't have enough time to relax enough to be able to do something!

Well, I did manage a little blog hopping to try to get my mojo back and I also came across this fantastic candy at Tracy's where you can win boxed envelopes for your cards.... just what I need.. so I just had to enter to try my luck. It closes 7th March so click here to join in and good luck :)

Was so cold, but no snow in Firenze.

In Siena now. Here we found some snow... finally!! I was hoping to see it.

From Siena we caught a bus to San Giminiano. They were filming here.

In Lucca now... no snow... but still soooooo cold

 And finally some photos in Pisa. It snowed during the night.. just a little bit on our last day.

Lovely holiday, we all really enjoyed it, and our new friends made it even more enjoyable :)
