A New Baby

Hello everyone, hope you had a lovely Christmas and Santa has been good to you. How have you been spending your holidays? I've been doing loads of shopping, cleaning house, going over to friends, having family and friends over, going to parties and dinners; having another family lunch today as well, so not having a quiet moment at all!

So today, while everyone is still asleep, and before we start to get ready to go out, I thought I would do some blogging and share this baby boy card I made!

I colored the image from Lili of the Valley with my promarkers, the papers are digi ones, and then I added some die-cut stars, ribbon, a charm and some gems to finish it off.

I wasn't too sure of how it turned out, thought it needed some other embellishments, but then I'm always in a dilemma on what to add on the boys cards.. do I need more stuff?? ha ha :)

A Last Minute Christmas Card

Good morning everyone. Yippee I'm on vacation leave now :) .. for two weeks.. so I thought I would start my leave by sharing one of the quickest last-minute Christmas cards I did!

The background embossed card is recycled from an old shop-bought card. This card was one of the largest ones and so I just used the bottom part of it, which was embossed with the stars. The cute chipboard image was a freebie in a magazine and then I just added a peel off sentiment and a bow to finish it off! I really loved how it turned out.

More Than One Fold

Frosty the Snowman

Hello everyone, hope you are having a lovely Sunday. I am at the moment very busy trying to finish off my Christmas cards and thought I would share this one I made... Yes I know I should have finished them off earlier, but my mojo doesn't ever seem to appear any earlier and this time I even HAD to get me new Christmas stuff to help me with this problem bwa ha ha ha :P !!! Well it's just the new snowflakes, the Christmas tree was a freebie in a magazine, and then there were the papers from Papermania and another die, the hollies, which are not in this card!! 

Anyway, so for my card this this time I decided to use this really cute image of Frosty the Snowman from Magnolia which I colored with my promarkers. I glittered up the card as much as I could and then finished I it off with a peel off sentiment and some gems and a little bow.

A Sketch

Good afternoon everyone, hope you're having a good week. I'm feeling very Christmassy with all the decorations up, the Christmas cake baked... and tasted yum :P and with all these Christmas cards! For some parties now, Christmas shopping, vacation leave and the midnight mass to finish it off!

Anyway, it's that day of the week today when I share my DT card for the new challenge at

The theme for this week is a SKETCH challenge and this is what I came up with.

For my card I used Papermania DP and three dies, two of which are new.. the Christmas tree which was a freebie in a magazine and the hollies which I got from Joanna Sheen. To the tree I attached some bells which I got from a local craft shop here... I really loved the bells on the tree even though I had such a hard time to fix them !!! but still, I really enjoyed doing the card since I got me some new Christmas stuff te he he :)

Snowmen Trio

I had a crafty weekend for a change and my mojo seemed to come back for a while, managing to make me some Christmas cards!! ... This is one of them and for this card I used this fun image from Bugaboo that I had won some time ago from the challenge at Savvy's yay :) thanks

The background paper is a digi one, the snowflakes are new dies which I bought some time ago, but first time using them!!! and the Christmas Tree die was a freebie in a magazine. I cut out the pot myself from gold card and then embossed the top of it! 

I have of course colored the image with my promarkers and finished off the card with some gold trimmed ribbon and peel off sentiment. It was quick and I really enjoyed making it :)

For a Child

Hello everyone.. I'm still here :P My posts are so sparse lately, sorry, but have lots going on at the moment...  long hours at the office, hubby on leave and painting the house, and the usual Bokwa classes and marathon training as well!!! Since I had my birthday this year and reached the age of 45 I have become somewhat of a fitness enthusiast (or freak?? ha ha). Last Sunday in fact I did the 7km President's Fun Run for Charity and I really enjoyed it. I used to do it as a walk but I've been wishing to do the run instead, so this year, after lots of training, I managed it and am so proud of myself too :) Really wish to continue, but don't want to give up my card making too.. and so I'm really hoping to be better off next year doing less hours at the office!!

To make my card I used a Forever Friends stamp and if you look closely, even the ribbon has the cute teddy on it! I colored the image with my promarkers, border die cut is from Crafty Sentiments and then used Papermania die cut flowers which I've had for a very very long time... I really love it when I do this :)

Hello everyone. It's that time of the week when I post my DT card for the new challenge at

I ♥ Promarkers.

The theme for this week is an easy ANYTHING GOES and so I decided to do a Christmas Card, using the image, Snow Dad by Digi Blessings from our sponsor Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps.

To do my card I just used a left over DP, a sentiment, and two gems!! and that's it! I just felt like doing a clean card this time.. actually my mojo felt that way.. but I love how it turned out.. the cute image just does the job!

Weddings and Anniversaries

I'm a day late this week with my DT Card! I've been staying overtime all week long and ending up so tired when I get home..  not even going to Bokwa too ! Boo :( .. I have at least got better, no more sneezing, just in time for me to do the 5km Run last Friday. I managed to do all the run with some encouragement from a friend who was running beside me, and did it in 27.30 mins. So my next marathon now is the President's Run for Charity on 1st December, this time 7km! Looking forward to that one :)

Anyway, better get to to my DT Card now for the new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers.

The theme for this week is WEDDINGS and ANNIVERSARY.

A perfect theme for me as I'm all the time being asked to do wedding cards, this one, for a change, I did it for me to give away to friends who were getting married. 

For the image I used one of my fave stamps from Lili of the Valley and colored it with my promarkers. The background embossing folder was a freebie in a magazine, the flower die is Impression Obsession and I had bought the hearts die cuts a long long time ago.

Red and Green

Just last week we were still basking in the warm sunshine and wearing Summer clothes and now all of a sudden it's gone all cold and Wintry! That would have been ok if I didn't catch a cold :( I missed the Latin dance class yesterday, today's Bokwa fitness class and by the looks of it, also my first 5km Fun Run next Friday! All this, coupled with loads of work at the office and hubby abroad, I'm obviously not in such a smiley mood :(

All That Glitters

Hi everyone, Wednesday again, so here I am with a card! .. I do try to post more frequently, but lately with Bokwa classes, marathon training and Salsa/Latin classes as well, it's just impossible, this besides work at and housework .. Yes, my days are so full at the moment and I'm always wishing I can stretch time to have more time for card-making.. hmm maybe I just need to quit my job :P ha ha wishful thinking!!

Minnie Mouse

Unfortunately lately I haven't been the ideal blogger.... the fact is that I have been a bit busy with ordered card and also busy with lots of exercising as I will taking part in a marathon; a short one of 7km. It has always been my wish to do a marathon, and so when the bank where I work offered it's staff professional coaching to do the President's Run in December, I immediately applied! This of course doesn't leave me much free time, but I am so enjoying it and am so looking forward to the run now which I'm really hoping won't be my last!!!

Anyway, today Sunday I thought I would share this card I made for a girl who loves Minnie Mouse.

I found the image from the internet, DP is from Nitwits, star die is Spellbinders, flower border die, which I colored with my promarkers, is Memory Box and the number die is Die-Namics. The lovely letters dies are new, and they are Tattered Lace.. so pleased I got these as the other letter dies I have are larger and you had to cut a lot of letters together, not just the ones you needed, besides that they do not cut as clean as these.

I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Pink Hair

Hello everyone. Still very nice and warm weather here, just a little bit cooler and I am loving it!
