Anyway, it's another week, so another new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers.

For my card, I decided to use this adorable digi, Bundle of Hearts, from Crafty Sentiments, which of course I coloured with my promarkers. Sentiment was a freebie from Stamp Fairy.Quite a simple card this week, but really love how it turned out.

Let Me Fly

Phew what a day yesterday! .. Not a good week definitely, first the traffic warden and then my Big Kick, but  I'm happy now that it's working again. So yay for hubbies who can fix them all :P and thanks everyone for all your concern and nice comments.

Well today, Sunday, it's a nice day here, so we will soon be going out, but first I thought I would share a card I did last week. A friend of mine asked me for a very particular card for her father who is retiring, with a funny aeroplane and the sentiment 'Just Fly'. I didn't have any images for this, but then found this one on the internet free for all..

..and this is what I did. A very simple card, but she loved it. I coloured the aeroplane with my promarkers, and then put the shiny Glossy Accents on this eyes.The bottom die cut is memory box and I also coloured it with my promarkers. The cute bunny is from a clear stamp set.

Update on my Sizzix.....

It's fixed !!!!!!!!!!! Well it didn't fix itself, but hubby, seeing me all sad and down, decided to try to fix it for me. At first he tried oil from the outside, but no luck, and so he DISMANTLED it!!! Can you imagine me seeing all this happening.... My heart was missing beats.

Anyway, all it needed was some oil from the insides, and there was also a little screw near the handle on the inside that was rusty. He said that this might have been causing the problem!

Phew .. I was so relieved when it was ok again! What would I do without my hubby and my Sizzix :P

My BIG Kick .....

............... It has stopped working!!!!

Last week, while using it, the handle was making lots of noises and was very hard to move it but now, the handle just won't budge!!! I'm so sad as if I'd lost the most precious thing in my life! Don't know what to do without it! I'm hoping that I can get it fixed as they are so expensive to buy from here!

Any advice anyone ?

A Christmas Card

Not a good way to end up my day at work yesterday .... I got a fine :( .. but it's all my fault! I took a wrong turn as I was in a hurry and found a traffic warden waiting for me !!! aaarrrghhh .. there never is one!!! ... No use telling her that I didn't see the sign, she didn't buy it! I definitely won't be taking a wrong turn ever again.

Anyway a big welcome now to my newest follower. Woo hoo hello, thank you for following me... we're now two away for the 500th! wow!! so exciting :)

and onto my DT Card for today is next. My card for today I made it for the mid way reminder for this month's challenge at Sweet Stampin Christmas.

The theme for this month is COLD AND FROSTY.

For my card I decided to use this cute stamp which was free in a magazine which I coloured with my promarkers. I then finished it with some glitter, ribbon, gems, snowflakes die cuts and a peel off sentiment.

I also have some news with this card, as lately, seeing how busy I always was, I had decided that I should step down from the weekly DT at Sweet Stampin. Of course, it was such a hard decision for me, the ladies are so nice there, so I kept instead this monthy DT with the Sweet Stampin girls.

Anything Goes

Good morning everyone. Yesterday I managed to find some extra time to prepare and schedule my post for this morning as today it's that day of the week when I have lots of errands to do! ... Yes slowly I'm getting back to my routine ha ha but I'm still taking quite some time to make my cards. Not this one though. I had it already in my mind that I wanted a clean and simple card, and embossing and to use one of my new stamps that I had won last time from All That Scraps...  so sticking to that, it didn't take me hours and I had so much fun making it too :)

This DT card I made it for the new challenge that started today at

The theme for this week is

ANYTHING GOES

As I was saying before, the darling image is from All That Scraps and it's one of the three images that I had so luckily won last time.. you'll soon be seeing me using the other two!

I coloured it with my promarkers, some embossing today and to do the embossing I first embossed the top part with the polka dot embossing folder, then the lower part, and finally I embossed some straight lines with my Hougie Board. Loved how it turned out. 

The gorgeous sentiment was a freebie from Hannelie and the heart die cut was from a swap with Chrissy. Thank you so much girls :)

White On White

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to my new follower. I am so excited you have decided to join me and hope you will enjoy visiting again. Just three more and I reach 500!! Wow! That will definitely call for some celebrations with candy as I will also be celebrating my 3rd blogaversary later on this month! I wonder if the 500th will have joined by that day too!!

I always find these style of cards quite tough, but adding lots of nice embellishments I think is the trick!

The flowers, leaves and hearts are all Marianne Creatables, the butterfly is Memory Box, while the gorgeous hearts border die, which I am forever using, and of course the image, are both from Crafty Sentiments.

Hello everyone. I've been out all day long today. First it was a work related activity that was not much fun unfortunately, and then after lunch, me and hubby went to a Citrus Festival which was being held at the President's Palace. This would have been very nice if there weren't crowds of people and all the goodies and stuff were finished by the time we were there! So off we went for a walk round the gardens and then to have some afternoon tea. ..very nice.

We're home now and so time for me to post my DT card for today which is for the new challenge that started today at One Stitch At A Time.

Layer It Up

Hello everyone, brrr it's really chilly over here at the moment... Well it's not really really that cold at 12C, but I do feel very cold, and we also had a hailstorm yesterday with many cars and crops getting damaged unfortunately. Streets were also covered in white for some time so everyone was talking about it since this is a very rare occurrence here in Malta. I was so lucky I was at the office at that time, and my car parked inside as well, so no damage done.

Anyway, here I am today with a card that I made for the new challenge that started today at

The challenge for this week  is 

LAYER IT UP

So we want to see lots of layers and of course colouring with Promarkers, Aquamarkers, Flexamarkers or Triamarkers.

For my card today I decided to use this fun image from DigiStamp Boutique, Shopping Alyssa, which I immediately fell in love with when I had seen her in one of my blogging friends' cards. Well it's only today though that I had the opportunity to use her and I am so happy I did, she is so cute. 

The two DP that I used are from Wild Rose Studio, I stamped on the one at the back, the flowers are from Papermania, and the bottom die is Memory Box.

It hasn't been very long ago that I've returned home today.... Wednesdays are one of those days when I have lots of running about!!! So having had dinner now I can finally sit down and upload my card.

Guest Designer with Forever Friends

Good evening everyone. I am still doing the catching up with my cards and today it's time for this card which I did for the new challenge at Forever Friends. In November I was so lucky and my card was picked as their Favourite. Besides winning a fab set of embossing glitters I also won a Guest Designer spot for this month :D

So this is what I had made...

For my card I used one of the many beautiful Forever Friends stickers and just stamped all around the card with my Card-io Majestix little clear stamps, which I had bought last March at the NEC. I loved how it turned out.

New

Hi everyone, I'm back finally!! Sorry I've been away for so long, hope you had a good Christmas and a New Year. ... it is such a long time since I posted anything on my blog, so sorry too for my very late wishes but after recovering from being ill I was caught up in all the Christmas activities, having family and friends over and visiting, parties and family time and Sales shopping as well!! Besides this, hubby was on vacation leave as well, so I was trying to spend as much time with him as possible, since it won't be long now again before he goes off abroad. I of course, haven't crafted anything at all, and in fact this card here I had done it before all this!!! .. I am finding it so difficult to find my mojo again now!!!

Anyway, so this card I should have posted yesterday too! I have lots and lots of catching up to do now.. emails, thank yous, DT cards to do, blog hopping... and I'm hoping to get back into my crafting routine quickly. It will be much easier now with all the decorations gone, kids back to school and me and hubby back to work as well... life seems normal again.

So so I was saying, I should have posted this card yesterday and it's my DT card for the new challenge starting this week at ONE STITCH AT A TIME. The theme for this week is NEW.

The image that I got to choose this week is from Lil Diva and I chose this sweet image The Nativity. I thought it would be perfect for the theme as baby Jesus the New baby.
