Love Is In The Air

Hello everyone, a really nice day here today in Malta, sunny and nice :) and I'm so pleased after the rain and windy days we've had lately.. and yesterday as well... when I went running but luckily I didn't get soaked!!

Anyway, today it's Wednesday so time for a new challenge at

The theme for this week is 

LOVE IS IN THE AIR 

...so appropriate with Valentine's Day just round the corner!

The card I did however is not for Valentine's Day... but still it has lots of love in the air! 

Image is one of my faves from Lili of the Valley, which of course I colored with my promarkers.  

The heart die-cut is from Marianne Designs, who this week happen to be one of our sponsor with this fabulous prize.

Happy Valentine's Day

Awful weather, some time on my hands with lots of crafty mojo, I just spent some fun time in my craft room and this is what I came up with!

Another CAS style card, using one of my fave stamps from CC Designs. 

I colored the image with my promarkers, printed the sentiment on the computer.. some embossing and die cuts, and that's it! I loved how it turned out.

This is the nice sketch from Less Is More which I followed to make my card.

One for the Boys

I didn't go out running this week.. The weather has been very windy and chilly brrr and I didn't feel like going out! Yesterday however, while taking my son to his Maths private lesson, I saw people jogging outside, which made me feel guilty, so I'm going to make an extra effort and do my training today, keeping fingers crossed that weather will be nicer :) !!

I was so excited about this as it was my turn to get to choose a clear stamp set to make my card this week and I immediately chose Jake's Stamp Set, which I loved instantly as soon as I saw it. I  thought it would be perfect to make a card for my son who likes to play with his skateboard!

The stamp set, which stamps so nice and clear, consists of six stamps. I used five of them, the boy stamp, the skateboard and small stars which I stamped on the background DP, the sentiment stamp and another stamp which I used to stamp on the sides of the DP and on the sentiment! I was so pleased with how my card turned out and really enjoyed making it :)

Another Baby Card

After the blogging I did this weekend I found myself wanting to craft and was really inspired by all the cards I saw and all the challenges especially the one at Less Is More which this week has my favourite theme of cards! So while on the air-walker on Sunday, I found myself wondering how I could do my card and this is what I came up with!

I think I can say it is quite clean!

I used one of my favorite stamps from Lili of the Valley, the little bunny is from another stamp, while the sentiment stamp is also from Lili of the Valley.

Not really much else to say about it .. apart from the fact that I couldn't find the right color of ribbon and so I colored it with my colors too :P

Triplets

Once in a while I find some extra time for blogging and today is one of them! Actually what happened is  yesterday, feeling so tired with all the training, I plopped on bed at about 7.30p.m. and in half an hour I was already asleep, sleeping till this morning and waking up just a bit earlier than usual! .. and that is how I found the extra time! 

So after replying to some emails and did a few commenting, I thought I would share this baby card I made but hadn't found the time to upload till now!

 

Sorry about the disastrous image, I hadn't realised how it was until now that I am uploading it. 

The teddy image that I used is from Hooked On Crafts and I just stamped it three times as I couldn't find an image to use for a triplets card!! Not very common ha ha :)

Hot Colors

It's not that long that I returned home today.. well actually I returned at 6.00 p.m. but then I rushed out at 6.30 p.m. for my Bokwa class! I had stopped going to these during the festive season as the Centre was closed but now they started again, so I'm a busy fitness freak again :P .. but this year more than ever as now I am training for the Malta Half Marathon, which will be held in less than six weeks!!! This is a first for me so I am a little anxious and wondering if I will make it!!

Fave Five Creations from 2013

It was back to work for me yesterday after two whole weeks off and I can tell you it was the bluest Monday ever for me :(  It was raining, load of morning traffic, I couldn't find a parking when I arrived and of course loads and loads of work!!! Was not a happy lady at all!! Anyway, after the fave five Christmas cards, today I just had to share my Fave Five Creations from 2013 and play with Debby  :) .. These ones were so much more difficult to choose and I was constantly adding and removing cards, remembering cards I had totally forgot about! I have of course ended up with more than five cards... ooops nine!!!

A day late with my DT Card this week.. with all the family and friends dinners and parties, and festive preparations to do, I just got caught up and didn't manage to do it in time. Besides that, having hubby at home on holidays doesn't help at all to have some crafting time for myself! I just have two more parties left now, one tomorrow evening and another at our place on Saturday evening, with twelve friends coming over, and that's it! It's back to work on Monday and back to routine to hopefully get back to crafting and some exercise as well! 

Anyway,  here is my card for today.

As you can see, my card is a very simple one. I just used one die which I have just purchased from Simon Says, Hearts Parade, three hearts from the same die, one DP and a sentiment from a stamp set, also from Simon Says and a die for the sentiment.
