I still can't believe I'm still not well as it's the third week now! Yesterday I went to the physiotherapist but he said that I just need time to heal.. so I'm waiting! Anyway, I really don't want to bore you with this, so on a happy note I announce that it's our 20th Wedding Anniversary today:) We decided to take the day off today to go to Gozo but it's a really windy day so we will see what to do instead!!

Now onto my DT card for this week and this time I have a wedding card for the

MONOCHROME challenge that started today at I ♥ Promarkers.

For my card I used an image and background DP from Graphicstock which I got for free as they had a seven day trial period where you could download up to 20 images per day for free.

 I printed the image four times, colored it with promarkers and layered it for a 3D effect.

New Home

It's another nice Summer day here in Malta and we will soon be off to the pool to relax and hopefully heal from this pain I have on the left side of my chest. Still can't move or swim properly without feeling any pain. .. Feeling really unhappy and hoping it would heal soon :( Fingers crossed :)

 Anyway, I thought I would share this New Home Card I made for a friend of mine ...

As you can see it's a different card from my usual style, with only dies and a butterfly punch, and no images or coloring with my promarkers! It's good to try something different I think! The background DP is from a Papermania Paperpack, the dies are all Memory Box, with the exception of the grass, which is a Die-Namics one.

Things with wings

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is ok. I'm still in pain unfortunately and missing Bokwa, Insanity and Crossfit classes... moan moan :(  .. all because of a ride I went on at a Luna Park last Friday. This ride just goes round and round very fast but three people stay in one seat and when it goes round everyone is squashed on the person sitting on the left.. which was ME.. the smallest of all !!! Doctor told me I have a bruised muscle and it would take me about two weeks to heal .. I really do hope I will heal faster than that!!

Anyway, it's Wednesday again and so time for a new challenge at

On your wedding day

Having had to stay at home today due to an injury on a 'pleasure' ride at a Luna Park here in Malta, I spent some time in my craft room and made this wedding card.

The image, which is one of three images that I was so so lucky to win last week, is from A Day for Daisies, and I colored it with my promarkers. Papers are my Wild Rose Studio paper pack,the hearts die is from Simon Says and leaves from Marianne Design. The sentiment is a clear stamp from Card-io and I also used a punch from Martha Stewart to make the scallops. I really am pleased with how it turned out.. will surely find use to it real soon :)

Anything Goes

Hello everyone. Hope you are enjoying the Summer and spending lots of time near the beach. I am :) and trying to make the most of it this year since from next year I am going to have to increase my working hours to full time boo hoo .. no no like :( .. kids grown up they said so you can go back to full time :( Awww no no like. Yes I'm moaning :( ... But all good things come to an end and so, as I was saying, I am trying to make the most of it this year and so I've been going to the pool about three or four times a week since Summer started and I'm also getting a nice suntan too :) I went yesterday after work and plan to go on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of course he he :P
