Add A Number

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a good week. Mine is a good and busy one as usual starting off with loads of traffic on Monday morning as school started this week!! So that meant that I had to wake up earlier than usual to arrive to work on time!! Oh well!!

Anyway, it's Wednesday already so time for a new challenge at

This week the theme is to ADD A NUMBER

... which was perfect for me as I needed to do a card for my friend Pam from UK whom I had met on the Sweet Stampin' DT and who will be turning the lovely age of 70 at the end of this month !! This month she was in Malta again and so of course we had the opportunity to meet again.

For the image I chose this cute stamp from Lili Of the Valley which I colored with my promarkers and the papers are from the Sugar and Spice paperpack of Dovecraft.

Feeling Distressed

What a busy day today.. after work I headed straight off for fitting as will be working as an Extra for a few days next month in a foreign biblical film that will be shot in Malta - the Dovekeepers. I was so excited when they called me yesterday, even though it wasn't the one Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are filming here at the moment. Anyway, when I was done with that it was already time for my Bokwa class so another rush home to change and off out again for the class phew :) . .. I really don't know how to relax... always wanting to do so much in so few time !!!!

So well better get onto my DT card for this week. This time the challenge at

FEELING DISTRESSED

It's such a long time since I did distressing on my card, so I was really hoping I would get it right. I chose some thick DP which I could distress and did some in the way I knew how all around the DP.

Sweet Treats

Good morning everyone. I can't believe we're already in September and that Summer will soon be gone. Yesterday it rained a little and I'm already feeling the weather a bit cooler so I'm a little sad as I really love Summer. Of course all good things have to come to an end, but looking on the bright side of this, I'm hoping it will bring me back my crafty mojo :P and that I will be blog hopping again and making more cards ;)

For my card I used this gorgeous image from one of our sponsors Sherri Baldy, and then used some lovely DP which were free in a magazine... a long time ago.

The die-cut hearts is a Simon Says die and the sentiment stamps, which I inked with brown ink, is from AmyR stamps. I also used a spellbinders die for the zig zags and then finished it off with sweets and cupcake stickers on the side and of course the lovely bow.
