Happy Valentine's Day

This week I didn't manage to make my DT card ... emm .. ha ha no not really :P .. that is not what happened. I did make a card but I mixed up completely the challenge so of course when I realised what happened it was just too late to make another one. 

Anyway, I thought I would upload a card that I made for Valentine's Day next week.... a very simple and quick one, but I think it came out really nice.

The background DP was in a magazine, and the die is from Simon Says. Then I added the bow and computer generated sentiment to finish it off.

Men At Work

Hello everyone, hope you're having a good week. My past weeks weren't so good unfortunately as we had some devastating news on the 7th January that my mum passed away. She was 81years old but still so healthy and  up on her feet everyday, so we weren't expecting this at all. It was really hard but I said that life has to move on so I just pushed myself to get back into routine, first back to work, which really helped and then back to my fitness routine and today back to card making! Not that we will forget, but it's the best medicine believe me!

Anyway, it's time for a new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers and this week the challenge is

MEN AT WORK

I decided to use the really cute, Pizza Chef which our sponsor The Paper Shelter kindly let us have to use for this challenge.

 

I immediately remembered about some DP that I had from a magazine, so from then on it was easy peasy. The big fun heart and the sentiment were also in this set.

I really enjoyed making this card, and it was really relaxing for me.

New Beginnings

Hello everyone and a happy new year to all. I hope 2015 will be the best year ever for everyone. For me it didn't start off so good as I wasn't well, had a cold, but now finally I'm ok again, back to work and back to running :) .. So really pleased about this, as I had to stop due to an injury that I had, but now I'm ok and in fact this week I already did 9.7k on Monday and another 10k on Tuesday. I need to get back in shape for the Malta half marathon which will be next month, on the 22nd February (on hubby's birthday btw), so trying to do as much as I can !

Anyway, it's another year, a Wednesday, so we at I ♥ Promarkers have started the challenges again, and what better way to start off the year with a NEW BEGINNINGS theme.

I just couldn't have been happier as it meant that I could do a baby card, cards which I love doing so much.

For this card I used an embossing folder that was a freebie in a magazine. Love the size of this as it was just the perfect size for making a square card! The cute baby elephant image was kindly given to us by our sponsor for this week
