Easter / Springtime

It may be Spring now but the weather is far from being Spring over here... raining so much at the moment and thundering too! I'm really wondering when the nice weather is going to come!

So, being Spring, we at I ♥ Promarkers have set the theme for the challenge this week to

SPRING or EASTER

I was so pleased with this as I love the colors for Spring, they are so fresh and bright.

For my card this time I used this cute rubber stamp from Crafter's Companion which I colored with my promarkers. The lovely DP were a freebie in a magazine.

Lots of gems today, and felt flowers and a butterfly and lace and ribbon too! Really love how my card turned out this week, so pleased.

Your Favourite Song

Well it's a new week and so a new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers. I'm so happy as this week I had my mojo back and I actually made my card in a jiff :) .. must have been the theme as I quickly remembered one of my fave song of my days when I was still young and carefree .. Club Tropicana by Wham.. and now I'm also listening to their songs in the background. .. so lovely :)

Back to my card and as I was saying the theme for this week is YOUR FAVOURITE SONG. For my card I chose the this really cute image from Eureka Stamps  .. thought it fit the song Club Tropicana by Wham perfectly.

The two background DPs are from my Me and My Big Ideas paperpack which I've had for quite a long time and doesn't seem to ever want to finish! Used two dies from Whiff of Joy and the border die from Spellbinders. Card Candy, ribbon, a sentiment and sailor suit embellishments to finish it off.

Fantasy/ Fairy Tales

Better late than never I always say...so here's my DT card for the challenge at I ♥ Promarkers which I was supposed to do quite a few days ago.. This time I had a bit of a struggle to finish off my card, it was one of those days, but still I persisted and didn't want to give up and here it is finally. Sometimes I just can't get anything done, and then sometimes I make up a whole batch in a day! Well, it's been quite some time since I had one of these days!

Anyway, there is still a day for the challenge to close, so I thought I would post up my card just the same, I thought it came out quite fine and the image is really sweet I think.

The pretty DPs were from a magazine, border punch is MS and the really cute image is from our sponsor Meljens.

Distress Those Edges

It was a lovely sunny day here in Malta today and, quite warm too and has been like this for these past few days, so I'm really happy about this. We are however expecting bad weather again from tomorrow, so I'm really hoping that the weather man is not right as I'm loving this weather and really looking forward to Spring and the warmer days.

Anyway, its Wednesday again today, the start of a new month too, so time for another new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers.

The theme for this week is

DISTRESS THOSE EDGES

I'm not a big fan of distressing, but still I managed to do some and I think my distressing came out not so bad too. The image that I am using for my card is Fashion Gal Shelly which I was so lucky to have from our sponsor to make my card.

I colored her with my promarkers and I also colored pink the peel off sentiment with my promarkers.
