Good Luck

No DT Cards to post for this week, as both are fortnightly, so I thought to share this Good Luck card instead which I made for a guy who left our office.

Didn't really know what to do.. I really find these male cards quite difficult...

so I just used die cuts for my card... quite a few of them in fact! Two card candy and two colors and that's it! I hope he liked it.

Hello everyone, good morning and a happy Saturday to all. I hope you are having a great weekend! Still don't know what we will be doing today, but feeling so much better than yesterday. 

Anyway, today I am sharing my DT Card for the new challenge that started today at

Crafty Friends Challenge

The theme for this challenge is 

ALL THINGS CUTE

Super easy challenge and since we had to use our own image this time, I quickly decided on doing a baby card. .. definitely fits the theme!

 

The image that I used is from Lili of the Valley and of course I colored it with my promarkers. 

I embossed a baby blue card for the background with my new embossing folder and cut out the image with my also new Nellie's Multi Frame dies. .. yes I did a shopping spree :P  We have two good craft shops here, and sometimes I like to go browsing, of course never going out with empty hands.

A Cute Bunnie

Been under the weather today, did not go to work and so with some time on my hands I thought I would share this card that I made for a colleague of mine who joined another department. This cute bunny stamp was a freebie in a magazine some time ago, I thought it would be really sweet to use especially in this time of the year.

 I colored the image with my promarkers, and then smudged some yellow chalk all around the image.. but it doesn't show much unfortunately! There is also glitter on the flowers and I added some random pearls as well. The dragonfly is made of foam and it is all glittery too. I printed the sentiment from my comp and cut it out with my new Nellie's Multi frame dies.

 I came up with the design quite quickly too. .. not usual ha ha .. must be my mojo. Sometimes it's ok and I whip up a card in no time. The DPs were also freebies. The border die is from Crafty Sentiments and the cute kitty is from Papermania. I have a pack of them and I'm always worried they finish and I can't find to buy like them any more, so I use them very sparingly ha ha ... they are so cute ... TDF

Pastel Colors

Good morning everyone. Hope you are having a lovely day. It's really nice and warm here in Malta and finally I got my chance to go for a swim last Sunday :) It was quite windy though, and I nearly didn't swim too because of that, but one guy that was with us decided to go for it still and so off I went too he he :) Really glad I did too because I really enjoyed it even though it was really cold ... of course now I'm really looking forward for another one, hoping it won't be so windy again!

Anyway, it's Wednesday today and so time for another challenge at

This week we were inspired by the season and so the challenge is to use

PASTEL COLORS

 We are this week sponsored by Fabrika Fantasy and all the DT got to use one of the images.

 The lovely image that I am using is Air Fairy and I colored it with my promarkers. I did some embossing today for the background, used digi papers and finished it off with a flower, ribbon, a bow and three gems.

Two Colors

Hello everyone and a happy Wednesday to all. It's another week and so time for another great challenge at

I♥ Promarkers

This week we are challenging you to use just TWO COLORS on your projects and of course use the Promarkers to color in your images.

For my card I got to use this fun image of Santa - Simply Santa from our sponsor Dr Digi's House of Stamps, and of course I just used two colors on my card... which are the red and brown.

When I was thinking of what colors to use, I had thought a Christmas card would be perfect because I could use the red and green, but then, on coloring the image, I noticed that there was his sack, which I didn't want to color green, so I had to just do with the red and brown. After all, I must say, I was really pleased with how it turned out, and it's something different from the usual red and green. Besides that, I had those background papers for such a long time, which I was never able to use, so I was really pleased with that as well.

To finish off my card I used a sentiment stamp from Crafter's Companion, added two pom poms and a Marianne Design die-cut Christmas tree and some gems as well.
