The Key to My Heart

Hello everyone. I hope you had a good weekend. I had a day off today because as I said previously today we got to sign the contract for our new home so had a very busy day too as after that we went there to take the water and electricity readings and then we went to meet a designer for our new kitchen and that took ages!!! Well a busy and exciting day! Got the keys now and so it's officially ours. Can't wait to start refurbishing it, obviously lots to do as want to change the tiles, change the bathrooms and have of course to buy the furniture. The boys both want the same room and I don't know how I am going to decide on this!!! Wow this blog recently has become like my diary now besides my blog to post my cards. ...

Some more exciting news now as yesterday received another reservation for our apartment, this time in April for seven nights, so extra extra happy :D

Anyway, so now it's time for a card. Don't usually post on a Monday but lately I've been having lots of crafty mojo and I made this card, so I had to share it. It must be because I am very happy that I bought lots of new dies he he  :) 

 With Valentine's Day just round the corner I just couldn't resist getting some Valentine's Day related dies. So here I have two new dies that I bought ... the Heart Breeze dies from Simon Says and the wordings from Brittannia Dies. This one comes with more words .. the With Love, To and 'sday to make the word Valentine's day. ... could you resist them ????

Hello everyone and a happy Saturday to all. It was raining hard here today this morning, just in time for me as I was going to hang the laundry outside, but now it stopped and the sun is shining... so I take the laundry out now ... why can't it decide what it's going to do :P ha ha Well at least it didn't rain while I was out running!

Anyway I have my DT Card today for the new challenge that started today at

The theme for this fortnight is 

GIRLY

So for this week again I have another girly card but this time for a change I decided to do a baby girl card. These always come in so handy and another colleague is expecting, this time a girl, so it won't be staying long in my box :D

To do my card I decided to use this gorgeous image from All That Scraps and I colored her with my promarkers. Lots of die cuts of course, the bottom one is from Crafty Sentiments, the centre one is from Nellie's Multi Frame Dies and the rest are from eBay... new ones.

The background DP are from a Me To You paper pack.

Pink Pretty and Girlie

Hello everyone, and welcome. I hope you are having a nice week. 

This week I started doing some jogging again, hopefully I keep it up, today I'm going out for lunch with my colleagues, before that going to see a colleague in hospital and tomorrow we are getting a pizza for lunch at the office, and besides that I'm having a very crafty mojo lately and made quite a few cards...  so it is a very good week :D 

But that's not all, as next Monday, the BIG DAY when we will sign the contract for our new home is nearly here... so I'm feeling very excited... can't wait :D

Anyway, now I have my DT card to share with you and this is for the new challenge that started today at Crafting by Designs

The challenge for this week is

PINK, PRETTY AND GIRLIE

 We are sponsored this week by Crafty Sentiments so I am using an image from Crafty Sentiments, Annabel Let's Dance which is a rubber stamp. The bottom hearts border die cut is also from Crafty Sentiments. I'm forever using it, love it!

 I colored the image with my promarkers, the 'hello' sentiment is new and as you can see I have added a tag to my card this time. Not usual for me to add tags, but I did say I have a crafty mojo :)

Happy New Year

Ok so it's not actually the first day of the new year, as it's already the 14th of January!! ... but I still hadn't shared this card. I had done this one for my guests that had come for the New Year at our holiday home which we rent out for short lets in St Paul's Bay Malta. 

Since they came for the new year I had of course done a New Year's Card.

For my card I used a mixture of dies, using also a new one which I just bought (the banner with the stars), and peel offs and a brightly colored background paper. Wasn't so sure of that paper, but I couldn't find anything else with stars which would be fit for a new year's day. 

Here's them btw :) as we took a selfie before they left!

New Baby

It's that time for new things... new year, new home (soon soon at the end of this month), new crafty goodies (got that too :)) and new babies too.. why not :) .. well that's not for me now he he .. but a colleague of mine just had a new baby boy, their second and of course a card I made for her.

I decided to use one of my fave stamps from Lili of the Valley and I colored it with my promarkers. The back DP is from Papermania, stars border from Martha Stewart, the little teddy die-cut is one of the new dies that I just bought and the large 'NEW BABY' sentiment is a cut off from a shop bought card. My colleagues pass on their old cards to me and I love to recycle anything I can from them.

 Well, now just to post it :)

Good evening everyone and a happy Wednesday to all. I hope you are having a lovely week :)

I'm much better now and back to work, but as expected really really busy at the office since I've been away for quite some time!

Anyway, it's already Wednesday and so it's time for a new challenge at

She just reminds me of the Flinstones movie, I loved it!

I colored the image with my promarkers, background DP  is from a Wild Rose Studio paper pack.

Anything Goes with Crafting by Designs

Good morning and a happy new year to all :)

I hope you had a fabulous start of year and wish you all the best for the coming days. 

As for me....  it didn't end so well and so far hasn't started so good too as I have a bad cold and am home sick grrr :(  Re the ending.. well on New Year's Eve we went out for dinner with friends, all was going well and food was great ie until the main course had to come... which unfortunately didn't come at all!!! We complained and complained, they said it's coming, but still nothing and then about ten minutes to midnight our friend just told them off and out we went!!! And that was it! We couldn't believe it!!! I really don't want to complain as there are far worse things to happen than this and a bad cold, but I really just wish that everything will be good for this year with our upcoming new house buying and moving, which is such a big feat and I'm still a bit scared about this!

Anyway, on a positive note :D yesterday I received another booking for August for our rental home in Qawra, Malta so I'm very pleased as saving up from these rentals for our new home. The other guests, left on Monday really satisfied. Will be sharing the card I did for them real soon.

So, finally, onto my card for today and it's another

I colored it with my promarkers, added some die cuts, including two new ones :D and of course the background DP, which was a magazine freebie. I also colored the die cut tree with promarkers and added 'NEW HOME' letter peel offs and a few gems to finish it off.
