All That Glitters

Hello and a happy Sunday to all. I hope you are having a nice weekend. The weather here is not so sunny, but ok, so we didn't go out as usual. Lucky me as I still had to post my DT card... that I should have posted yesterday!!! Yes another late card this week.... :(

Anyway, as I was saying, I have another DT Card today and this time it's for the new challenge that started yesterday at

 You really can't see the glitters on my card, but it's there on her hair and on the flowers. It's so difficult to capture the glitters on the photo!

For an image I am using this boootiful :) image from our wonderful sponsor Sherri Baldy, My Besties and I colored her with my promarkers. Background DP is from the Floral Prints paper pack by DCWV and the white border on the side is a Martha Stewart punch.

It's Almost Spring

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a nice weekend. I'm a bit late this week with my DT Card, sorry. I've had a very very busy week. It was hubby's birthday last Wednesday, and since it was his 50th birthday, we went for a night at a hotel. At first we weren't going to do anything special, with all the expenses we have with the new house, but then on the last minute we decided to do this! Besides that, we again went to see more kitchens, I had to go for the costume fitting for my upcoming working as EXTRA in the film Murder on the Orient Express, and then yesterday it was Carnival party time. This year I didn't prepare anything to wear, so at the last minute, on the day of the party, I was fixing up my costume!!! Waaaah :P .. So what I did I found an old skirt of mine, the top from another costume, scarfs to which I attached some fun embellishments and hey ho I got a gypsy costume ha ha .. here's me yesterday with my friends at the party. I think it came out ok!!

 I colored the cute doggie from the Dog Tales set with my promarkers and then I had loads of fun finishing off my card with many die cuts. The sun and rainbow ones are new ones which i got recently. I really love how it turned out.

Polka Dots

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all doing fine. I've just returned from work and with nobody home yet I headed straight to my comp to post my DT card for this week's new challenge. ... but before that .... 

I GOT SOME FANTASTIC NEWS ... 

There's another BIG movie going to be filmed here in Malta next month, Murder On the Orient Express, starring Johnny Depp and guess what !!!! they called me to work as an extra  :D :D 

There was a call for extras some time ago but I didn't apply as I didn't feel like waiting in the long queue but apparently they need a lot of extras, with long uncolored hair, so, me being in their database already, as I was an extra previously, and fitting the required look, they called me asking me if I wanted to work as an extra again...... Of course I did I said!! Now next week I have the costume fitting and the week after it's filming.. Yippeee I can't wait woo hoo :)

I still am so excited of all this but back to my card now and as I was saying today I have my DT Card for the new challenge that started today at

A really fun challenge I think. This is what I did!

The image that I am using is Fashion Girl from another amazing sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps.

I colored the image with my promarkers, then of course polka dots background paper and lots of fun stuff to finish it off. The bottom buildings image is recycled from a local booklet. I think it came out real nice :)  Love it.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello everyone and a Happy Valentine's Day to all. I hope you had a nice day. Today we got chocolates and a red velvet cake at the office YUM :))  As for me and hubby we decided to stay home and so after work I cooked non stop to do something special and managed to do everything in time... even a dessert .. was so pleased ha ha :) 

Anyway, I thought I would share this last Valentine's Day card that I did for a little girl to give to her daddy. The image is from Digistamp Boutique, which lucky me, I had won some time ago. It's so cute I think :)

 I colored the image with my promarkers, and then added lots of die cuts. Quite a simple card.

Love and Romance

Good morning. So late with my card this week! So sorry. We've been going to see kitchens, floor tiles and bathrooms non stop and getting back so late at home that I just didn't manage to find time to post my DT card. We still haven't concluded anything yet, and I'm hoping to decide by next week, so hopefully will be ok again quick quick :) So, today being a public holiday here in Malta, as it's the feast of St Paul, I found some time finally. Well, better late than never :)

I have colored it with my promarkers, DP were free ones in a magazine, then of course hearts die cuts and other fun stuff to finish it off. The With Love sentiment is a new die which I just bought from EBay. Love how it turned out.

Anything Goes

A new day .. a new month already, the days are already getting nicer here :) and what have we done today ... a busy day it was that's for sure! 

First thing this morning I had medical tests including a blood test and this didn't go so good as SHE JUST COULDN'T FIND MY VEIN!! She tried first one arm then the other and then again the first but it was too much for me!!! I started seeing all white and that was it! I just hate needles and blood. So to the office I went after that, had a funeral in the afternoon and back home I went to check on the new home and there were three cute cats in the garden which the previous owners used to feed. I of course couldn't leave them hungry and so got them some food which they devoured. I am allergic to cats so I can't keep them inside but at least they will not go hungry. Here they are :)

Anyway, time for my DT card now .. actually I have two today and they are both for the new month challenge that started today at

Crafting By Design

Here is my first one and I am using images, the fun guy and the taxi, both from the Travel bundle from our sponsor Melonheadz. I colored them with my promarkers and used gorgeous paper from a Me & My Big Ideas paperpack. There are more fun images in the bundle, and you will see two more in my next card.

Some fun dies of course to finish it off...  all new ones... the ducks just got them this week from Joanna Sheen and then the sun, the swirly cut lines and the word Summer. I cut out the word twice in yellow and black and I think it came out really nice like this :) 

My second card now and this time I am using the sweet girl and the luggage set from the Travel bundle. There are still more images in the bundle, I had actually printed them too, but I didn't manage to use them in my cards together.

 I have again colored both images with my promarkers and the tall buildings are also from my Me & My Big Ideas paperpack. The background DP is from a Docraft paperpack, on which I stamped some fun circle stamps and the Happy Holliday verse is a clear stamp.
