Happy Easter

Hello everyone. Finally we got our appointment on Monday with the architect to plan the changes we want to do for our new house yay yay :) He is such a busy man, we waited so much for this appointment and I called and called his secretary everyday!! He didn't do the changes as we wanted them, so next week we have another appointment but we are hoping that we will finalize the plans and get started... I can't wait .. it's been already too long :(

Anyway, it's a new challenge today at

I chose this cute image Miss Ribbons Chick kindly given to us by our sponsor, Sami Stamps and I colored her with my promarkers using some bright yellow and pink color... very quick but so cute. 

 For the background I chose some lovely pastel colored DP and then finished it off with some flowers, pearls, die cuts and beautiful ribbon.

B is for ...

Good afternoon everyone. I hope you are having a nice weekend. Mine didn't start so good unfortunately as on Friday me and some colleagues went to Sicily for a day and our flight back to Malta got delayed for over 10 hours due to fog  :( They just gave us some food and drinks but no accommodation for the night, which we were expecting as we weren't traveling with these cheap low-cost airlines........ so we spent the night at the airport on uncomfortable chairs!!! We only got on the plane this morning at 6.00am and so was really tired. Well we will now complain about this and hopefully we will get some compensation.

Anyway got my DT card to share today for the new challenge that started today at

A Sympathy Card

With hubby away today, I thought to share this Sympathy card that I made recently. I do not really like to make these type of cards, but I was asked to do it by a friend of mine as she wanted something different, and that it was for her friend whose child passed away, so I just couldn't refuse.

Anyway, this is what I came up with.

I found this beautiful angel stamp, which I colored with my promarkers, with my other stamped images and thought it would be very nice for what I needed. The sentiment I found it on the internet and printed it on my comp. It says... An angel opened the book of life and whispered, as she closed the book, too beautiful for earth....  So beautiful I think!
Just some peel offs then, ribbon, a bow and three flowers to finish it off.

I hope they liked it.

3 Patterned Papers

What a sad day today for Malta ... this morning the famous Azure Window in Gozo has collapsed into the sea and is no longer there. There is not even a trace of it and it's like it never existed : (  

Experts had said that it will collapse in six or so years, so everyone is so shocked by this as we were not expecting it so soon! The Azure Window was one of the world's most famous landmarks attracting many tourists and also featured in many films, like the Clash of the Titans, Odyssey, The Count of Monte Cristo and also lately in the Game of Thrones! Nothing could have been done to avoid this unfortunately! That's me last year, so glad we went!

Anyway, I have a DT card to share today for the new challenge that started today at

 I can tell you it wasn't an easy one for me, in fact I think my card is not one of my best, but at least the image is really cute and makes up for this :) 

The image is Cupid Balloon Holder from our sponsor Eureka Stamps and I colored him with my promarkers. I used again my new sentiment die cuts and finished it off with a bow, three hearts embellishments and a corner die cut.

The lucky winner this week will get 3 images from our sponsor.

Anything Goes

Hello everyone and again I'm late with my DT Card this week :/   ... It's filming time this week for the movie Murder on the Orient Express starring Johnny Depp so I've been waking up at 4.00am to be there at 5.00am and returning back home at about 6.00pm!!! So very very tiring, but at least it's fun, I'm doing something different from the usual work routine and I get to meet lots of people and making friends. Unfortunately we didn't get to see Johnny Depp boo hoo :(  :( as the scene they are filming here is near the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem and he wasn't there, but at least we got to see another famous actor, Kenneth Branagh yea yea :) (from the film Harry Potter), who is also directing the film. I'm a muslim, having a blue long veil, so when you are watching the film, just remember that I am in that scene and keep a look out for me too ha ha

Anyway, let's get on to my DT Card and this time it's for the new 

Monthly ANYTHING GOES challenge that started last Wednesday at

This month our lovely DT Sharon will be sponsoring the challenge and is offering a stamp as a prize to the lucky winner so we are all using one of our favourite stamps.

 

 I can tell you it was very difficult to choose a stamp as I have so many that I like, so in the end I decided on a stamp from Kenny as I just love them all, and also as I had just did this card and being so tight on time lately it fit perfectly for the theme.

Have colored the image with my promarkers, digi paper for the background, happy birthday sentiment and then added some die cuts to finish it off. ... John just loves gadgets and TV and computers, so he he this guy was just right for him.
