Ribbon

Really Reasonable Ribbon are having a super organisation theme week 'til the 16th of March, with a chance to win some great prizes. They are also asking us to share our ribbon organisation method with them....

Here is my ribbon.. all stored in two small cardboard boxes. The ones that are in rolls together in one box ...

and then the ones that I buy by the metre sorted by colors and stored in plastic bags.

Today they are all neatly in their boxes for the photo... you definitely don't want to see how they are on a crafty day !!!!

Quick Cards Magazine

Just returned from the card-making lesson I give out to some kids here and today had the pleasure of hearing one of the kids saying how much she likes coming   :) Was so pleased with that!

Don't have a card today, but I thought I would make a quick post about something exciting. It's about this month's Quick Cards magazine and I'm one of the girls featured in one of this month's articles  :))  woo hoo so exciting!

I had forgotten how exciting it was to be in a magazine. I love magazines, and last month hadn't realised my subscription was due ...wooops... and since there was a gorgeous 6x6 paper pack as a freebie, just couldn't miss that! Luckily the stationery had the last one, of course I got it much more expensive this way! Well, now I have to wait for this month's to arrive here in Malta as still haven't renewed my subscription, I spent way tooo much on craft stuff lately, and have to hold on a  bit!!!

Better go now, still got dinner to fix and ermmm some DT Cards as well!

A Sleeping Baby

Hello good morning everyone. It's a lovely bright sunny day here in Malta, a bit windy, but still nice. We're going to the Carnival in Valletta today, so really hope the weather stays like this.

I have my DT Card today for this weeks Challenge at One Stitch At A Time and this week the challenge is to add a charm to your project. ... nice and easy, and me too so loved the challenge as I got to choose from one of Sylvie's gorgeous stamps and so quickly I chose this beautiful Sleeping Baby.

I kept my card quite simple today, just like babies.... The beautiful digi paper is from the Baby Boy set at Stamp Fairy, border punch MS, butterflies Do Crafts and of course my Nestabilities.
I got the charm from Michael's, which is one of the goodies I had bought when I was on holiday in USA.

This week's sponsor is Creative Craft World and the lucky winner will get 5 promarkers.

Some challenges
- Your Next Stamp 37 - FEELING BLUE
- Stamp Something - DIGIS

Thanks for looking today,

Stamp Fairy Friday

I'm so excited today with my project, yes I don't have a card today, but I made a little box instead. It's the first time for me that I'm doing such a project... but when I saw Gerda's lovely stamp for today's release I immediately thought to make a little keepsake box where to keep baby's teeth.

Wasn't an easy task for me however, in fact this is my second attempt as made such a mess with the first one, but then tried again, and finally I was pleased with it. I coloured Patsy ToothFairy with my promarkers, added some simple embellishments and then one of my lovely embroidered Little Snippets butterfly for the final touch!

I also covered the inside of the box, filled it a bit with some cushion filling and finally covered it with some nice satin ................... from a remnant piece of satin from my wedding dress ... I did say to myself that one day I'll find some use to it he he :)
Here are the other Patsies in the set... aren't they cute.

Now don't forget to hop over to the Stamp Fairy main blog to see what the other girls did this week and to get your Friday Freebie as well. .. and if you like challenges like me, remember that you still have time to enter your card in this week's Stamp Fairy challenge. The theme this week is a ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

I also have some exciting news to share today. Operation Write Home will be having a Blog Hop on 5th March and StampFairy will be part of it with some extra candy. .. so make sure to stop by for your chance to win!

These are the challenges for my card..

A Whooping Candy, News and a Blog Award

Another post for today... wanted to make up for the missing one yesterday... no.. kidding he he .... I just wanted to share a few things. First here is Corry's fabulous Whooping 2 Year Blogaversary Candy!!!!  This is definitely one you shouldn't miss joining in, it closes this March 28th ...

Next I have some really exciting news as my card, this one here, was one of the Stampin' Royalty Goddess Picks for Challenge 60 !!! Wooo hooo... I returned home from a bad day at work and this just turned it right again :) loooove challenges  .. can't wait to get the badge to display on my blog.

And now I also have this exciting blog award from the lovely Annie, who is just starting her venture into the blog world. Thank you Annie, it is so awesome to be chosen to receive this blog award.

Now as you all know awards come with a few rules and I am going to comply with them today.

This award was created for bloggers who have fewer than 300 followers,  (mmmm 4 more to go for me!!!! )  but still put a lot of love and heart into their work. Now I have to pass along this award to 3-5 other bloggers who I feel deserve this award.  Here are the rules of The Liebster Blog Award. It is given to bring light to new blogs and it's a great way to share blogs that might not otherwise be seen or ones you want to share with others.

As a recipient you must share the love and pay it forward by:
1-Creating a post where you blog about the Liebster award and reveal your 3-5 blog picks
2-Let them know you chose them by leaving a comment on their blog
3-Copy and paste the blog award on your blog
4-Have faith that your followers will rally and show their crafty love back out to those you awarded
5-Have fun!

And so here are the blogs I have picked for my award.

Thanks for looking.
