Guest Designer with Forever Friends

Good evening everyone. I am still doing the catching up with my cards and today it's time for this card which I did for the new challenge at Forever Friends. In November I was so lucky and my card was picked as their Favourite. Besides winning a fab set of embossing glitters I also won a Guest Designer spot for this month :D

So this is what I had made...

For my card I used one of the many beautiful Forever Friends stickers and just stamped all around the card with my Card-io Majestix little clear stamps, which I had bought last March at the NEC. I loved how it turned out.

New

Hi everyone, I'm back finally!! Sorry I've been away for so long, hope you had a good Christmas and a New Year. ... it is such a long time since I posted anything on my blog, so sorry too for my very late wishes but after recovering from being ill I was caught up in all the Christmas activities, having family and friends over and visiting, parties and family time and Sales shopping as well!! Besides this, hubby was on vacation leave as well, so I was trying to spend as much time with him as possible, since it won't be long now again before he goes off abroad. I of course, haven't crafted anything at all, and in fact this card here I had done it before all this!!! .. I am finding it so difficult to find my mojo again now!!!

Anyway, so this card I should have posted yesterday too! I have lots and lots of catching up to do now.. emails, thank yous, DT cards to do, blog hopping... and I'm hoping to get back into my crafting routine quickly. It will be much easier now with all the decorations gone, kids back to school and me and hubby back to work as well... life seems normal again.

So so I was saying, I should have posted this card yesterday and it's my DT card for the new challenge starting this week at ONE STITCH AT A TIME. The theme for this week is NEW.

The image that I got to choose this week is from Lil Diva and I chose this sweet image The Nativity. I thought it would be perfect for the theme as baby Jesus the New baby.

Seeing Double

I'm so late with my DT card! It's not that I didn't make the card on time but I totally forgot to post it yesterday. Being unwell and at home all week long, I lost track of time and just forgot!! Yes unfortunately I'm still not feeling good :( getting better but not feeling like doing anything yet. Anyway, don't want to bore you. 

Here is my card for the new challenge which started yesterday ay Sweet Stampin.

The theme for this week is

SEEING DOUBLE

For my card I used a clear stamp that was free in a magazine. There are two polar bears. The centre die is Marianne Creatables, the border punch is Martha Stewart, while the snowflakes are Spellbinders.

The prize for this week is a pack of promarkers from our sponsor Letraset and a Joanna Sheen voucher for our month prize.

Anything But Square

Good morning everyone. Sorry for the lack of posts and visits lately. Hubby returned from UK last Friday and so we were out and about all weekend long but now I am unwell again!! It seems the cold I had last week hadn't completely gone and now it's back with a vengeance because this time I'm much worse having a temperature as well. Don't really like being like this at this time of the year. I feel I'm going to miss the office Christmas dinner on Friday as well...  and I was so looking forward to wear a dress which I bought just for the occasion!

Anyway, I did this DT card for the new challenge starting today at I ♥ Promarkers. Not one of my best cards unfortunately, the theme and me feeling like this not being on my side!!

The sentiment and image that I used this time are both from Crafty Sentiments.

One for the boys

Another very busy day at the office yesterday and all afternoon as well. First I had taxi driving and then I also went to try to buy me a dress to wear for tomorrow's cocktail party, which unfortunately was unsuccessful. The only one that I really liked was about Eur200, so I didn't even try it on, in case I liked it a real lot. I didn't want to spend that much money on a dress, which I would probably wear only once!
So that means that I still don't know what to wear for tomorrow!!!

Anyway, I have another Christmas card today and this time it's my DT Card for the new challenge starting today at I ♥ Promarkers. The theme for this week is
ONE FOR THE BOYS
so you can make anything you like, just as long as it is for the boys and coloured with Promarkers, Acquamarkers, Flexmarkers or Triamarkers.



I have of course decided to make me another Christmas card and used this gorgeous Forever Friends stamp that was a freebie in a magazine.

Kept my card very clean, and just added three gems, peel off sentiment and the gorgeous star that I recycled from an old Christmas card.

Even the background scene I have recycled. It was on the inside of an old Christmas card which I was going to chuck away. I really love how my card turned out today.

Snowflakes

I'm feeling so much better today, thanks for all your well wishes yesterday. ... It's not that I am 100% fit again, but good enough to go back to work to have such a busy day that I didn't see the day go by!!

Well it's Tuesday today, so it's time for another challenge at Crafty Sentiments

This week the theme is SNOWFLAKES

For my card this week I decided to use one of the older rubber stamps at Crafty Sentiments, Warm Wishes, and coloured her with my promarkers. Papers are digi ones, and for the circle border I again used Debby's idea with my Martha Stewart punch. I am really loving this and quite easy to do too.
