A Last Minute Christmas Card

Good morning everyone. Yippee I'm on vacation leave now :) .. for two weeks.. so I thought I would start my leave by sharing one of the quickest last-minute Christmas cards I did!

The background embossed card is recycled from an old shop-bought card. This card was one of the largest ones and so I just used the bottom part of it, which was embossed with the stars. The cute chipboard image was a freebie in a magazine and then I just added a peel off sentiment and a bow to finish it off! I really loved how it turned out.

More Than One Fold

For a change today I don't have a Christmas Card but a card with one of the themes I love so much... a baby card, which I made for the new challenge at

The theme for this week is

MORE THAN ONE FOLD

To do my card I used free papers from a magazine, a doily which I colored yellow with my promarkers, some lovely ribbon and bling to finish it off.

Frosty the Snowman

Hello everyone, hope you are having a lovely Sunday. I am at the moment very busy trying to finish off my Christmas cards and thought I would share this one I made... Yes I know I should have finished them off earlier, but my mojo doesn't ever seem to appear any earlier and this time I even HAD to get me new Christmas stuff to help me with this problem bwa ha ha ha :P !!! Well it's just the new snowflakes, the Christmas tree was a freebie in a magazine, and then there were the papers from Papermania and another die, the hollies, which are not in this card!! 

Anyway, so for my card this this time I decided to use this really cute image of Frosty the Snowman from Magnolia which I colored with my promarkers. I glittered up the card as much as I could and then finished I it off with a peel off sentiment and some gems and a little bow.

A Sketch

Good afternoon everyone, hope you're having a good week. I'm feeling very Christmassy with all the decorations up, the Christmas cake baked... and tasted yum :P and with all these Christmas cards! For some parties now, Christmas shopping, vacation leave and the midnight mass to finish it off!

Anyway, it's that day of the week today when I share my DT card for the new challenge at

The theme for this week is a SKETCH challenge and this is what I came up with.

For my card I used Papermania DP and three dies, two of which are new.. the Christmas tree which was a freebie in a magazine and the hollies which I got from Joanna Sheen. To the tree I attached some bells which I got from a local craft shop here... I really loved the bells on the tree even though I had such a hard time to fix them !!! but still, I really enjoyed doing the card since I got me some new Christmas stuff te he he :)

The image that I was so lucky to use for my card is Sleepy Santa from our first sponsor for this week Rick St Dennis.

Snowmen Trio

I had a crafty weekend for a change and my mojo seemed to come back for a while, managing to make me some Christmas cards!! ... This is one of them and for this card I used this fun image from Bugaboo that I had won some time ago from the challenge at Savvy's yay :) thanks

The background paper is a digi one, the snowflakes are new dies which I bought some time ago, but first time using them!!! and the Christmas Tree die was a freebie in a magazine. I cut out the pot myself from gold card and then embossed the top of it! 

I have of course colored the image with my promarkers and finished off the card with some gold trimmed ribbon and peel off sentiment. It was quick and I really enjoyed making it :)

For a Child

Hello everyone.. I'm still here :P My posts are so sparse lately, sorry, but have lots going on at the moment...  long hours at the office, hubby on leave and painting the house, and the usual Bokwa classes and marathon training as well!!! Since I had my birthday this year and reached the age of 45 I have become somewhat of a fitness enthusiast (or freak?? ha ha). Last Sunday in fact I did the 7km President's Fun Run for Charity and I really enjoyed it. I used to do it as a walk but I've been wishing to do the run instead, so this year, after lots of training, I managed it and am so proud of myself too :) Really wish to continue, but don't want to give up my card making too.. and so I'm really hoping to be better off next year doing less hours at the office!!

FOR A CHILD.

To make my card I used a Forever Friends stamp and if you look closely, even the ribbon has the cute teddy on it! I colored the image with my promarkers, border die cut is from Crafty Sentiments and then used Papermania die cut flowers which I've had for a very very long time... I really love it when I do this :)
