A Special Wedding Card

Today it's a Public Holiday in Malta and we have a family wedding. I thought I would share the card I made for them for this special occasson.

The card is an extra large 8 x 8 size and I used one of my fave Forever Friends stamps. Colored it with my promarkers. Love the soft colored background DP, and I bought the hearts ribbon from here.

Well I better be off to get prepared as it's a morning wedding.

So I will be back with some challenges later on in the evening.

Not Quite Straight

I'm so late with my card today! I've been having such a busy time this week that I didn't manage to make it in time! Lot's going on as we have a family wedding tomorrow morning and so was busy with last minute shopping and preparations, my brother, who is on holiday here from Australia, is staying with us, there are also our aunt, cousin and his wife from USA who came over for the wedding and also my son is sitting for his O Level exams, so I'm the one taking him for these! Phew!! Even writing them down is making me tired !!!

Hello everyone, hope you are having a nice day :) .. as for me ... I've just returned from work and remembered that I still had to check my credit card accounts, which is what I did!!! only to find out that I had a twice late payment fee plus interest of course!!!! grrrr I hate this ... well, definitely not a good week as MIL was also taken to hospital this week and she is still there! Doctors say it's nothing serious but still not nice on an 80 year old. Besides that, next week we have a family wedding, so we're hoping she'll be out by then.

Anyway, it's Wednesday today, so time for a new challenge at

Hello everyone. I'm so late today with my card! We are very busy at the moment at the office that I had to stay overtime again, and so as soon as I arrived home today, I quickly rushed off for my Bokwa class arriving just in time! Phew!!

Hello everyone, how's your week going.. For me it's a busy one as hubby is doing some painting in the house and so I got a big mess everywhere. Today he even ventured in my craft room ... yikes!!! It really needed a paint job but I am not looking forward to put everything back in place.

Clean and Simple

Back from my Bokwa class today and oops .. I remembered that I still hadn't put up my post for today! My son has been using the laptop non stop in the evenings (taking breaks from the studying for his O Levels) so I am ending up not having any time to use it myself!!

Anyway, so better get on to my card now as it is already so late and tomorrow I have to wake up very early to do my run! I will soon be participating in another marathon, next Sunday, but this time just a 10 km one.. Looking forward to that :P

For my card this week I decided to use this gorgeous freebie stamp from a magazine to make another Mother's Day card. Mother's Day in Malta will be celebrated in May, so I'm still making them at my leisure.

I of course colored it with my promarkers, the sentiment stamp is from Simon Says and then I just embossed a border and added two punched butterflies.
