Food and Drink

It's Wednesday again, and a lovely sunny day here in Malta. In fact it's been like this for these past few days and if, as predicted, it will still be nice and warm, we were thinking of going to the beach on Sunday. So fingers crossed for Sunday :) I'd really love to go!!

Anyway, back to today's DT card for the new challenge that started today at

The theme for this week is

FOOD AND DRINK

We also were so lucky to get an image to use to make our cards and I chose this lovely wedding cake.

I printed the image twice and then cut out the lilies and popped them up with foam. I colored the image with my promarkers and finished off the card with gold colored peel offs, three little hearts and a ribbon, keeping the card clean. The background DP is digi which I found on the net.

Add A Charm with Crafty Friends

Last Wednesday I was saying that I made me a last minute Halloween costume without sharing any photos and rightly so, I was reprimanded jokingly for this ha ha :) ... Well here they are now...
the first one is with my friends who also were red devils and the second one is with hubby, wearing a costume which I had also made myself, but some time ago. Here we are on our front porch which we decorated for Halloween with bats and ghost and spider streamers and hubby even changed the front light to red :) There's others stuff but they are not in the photo! Well now for the next Halloween party for next year.. I wonder what I'll be wearing :P

Anyway back for some crafting now and today I'm sharing my DT card for the new challenge that started today at

so we would like to see some charms on your projects.

For my card we were so lucky to get to use an image from our sponsors and I got to use this gorgeous image The Great Bow from Small And Round.

I colored it with my promarkers and then had a lovely time making up my card and adding all the stuff ... two different DPs, die cut, ribbon, lace, pearls, flowers, bow and of course a butterfly charm. I ended up not finding where to put a sentiment ha ha ... but still I think it's good.

Music

Another week gone by and being so busy am not seeing the time going by... This time I was busy decorating our front porch for Halloween with hubby and the kids and enjoying trick or treating to the kids from the neighborhood that came knocking on our door .. but I also was busy making up a costume to wear for a Halloween party that we were going to on Saturday! The only problem was that I only decided on Friday afternoon, while going home from work, that I wanted a new one and not liking the costumes they had in the store, I decided in the last minute to buy the material and make it up myself!! A problem that I also had was that I could not find to buy red fish net tights that I needed to go with the costume, and so I bought skin color fish net tights and to try to dye them myself red!!! ... BUT we also could not find red dye paint, so hubby bought me some other paint!!!! .... THIS on SATURDAY afternoon by the way!! Anyway, believe it or not, we managed to get them red, after drying them in the oven, and ending up getting red all over me and everywhere I touched ha ha, it's so funny thinking about it now and I also managed to finish the costume in time too .. I was a red devil this year he he :)

Well better get back to the present day, and being a Wednesday I have my new DT Card for this week's new challenge at

Circles

It's been two weeks since my last post as I've been to Cremona and Bergamo in Italy for a short holiday and to also participate in a half marathon. Not much time unfortunately was left for my card-making and blogging so I had to skip it last week.. but now I'm back with my DT card for the new challenge that started today at

The theme for this week is

CIRCLES

and this is what I came up with!

Not one of my best this week, but at least the fun image makes up for that :) To do my card I stamped the background using clear stamps from Inkadinkadoo using colored ink and I also cut out the image twice to then pop it up with foamies.

Anything Goes

Hello everyone, hope everyone is ok. Got loads to do at the office at the moment as will be flying soon, so really busy trying to get all the work done before I leave. Anyway, got my DT card for this week's new challenge at

I ♥ Promarkers

and the theme this week is an easy

ANYTHING GOES

Don't you just looove these challenges when you are tight with time :) ............

... and I had just done this card for a colleague and bingo it was perfect for this theme, so pleased :)

The gorgeous clear stamp image is from Wild Rose Studio, colored it with my promarkers, and it was also a freebie in a magazine, as was the DP. The small pretty flowers are a Martha Stewart punch, which I punched twice, inked and curled the edges and finished them off with a gem in the centre.

If I'm not mistaken, the leaves die and the fence are Memory Box.. I remove the dies from the packages and then I forget what make they are :] .. In actual fact there are two of the leaves die and it has two birds as well, but I cut them off this time !

Anything But A Card

I'm not a big fan for the Anything But A Card challenges, I always chicken away from them, but this is what this week is all about at I ♥ Promarkers and so I definitely had to give it a go. Mind you, I nearly chickened away as well, but after much thought and struggle, I finally managed to make a calendar ... and I can tell you, I was so happy that I did it. Really loved how it turned out too!!

Quite simple really it was too and it still has all the fun stuff ... digi paper, die-cut flowers, border and butterfly and a bow as well to finish it off.

For an image I decided that it had to be a really cute one that would make you smile and you wouldn't mind seeing day after day, so I used this darling digi 'Thanks' from Mo.. here is a close up..
