Just to Say

All alone today.. hubby is at work, older son abroad, younger son out with his friends, and it's just me and the dog at home !! ... so I thought I would share another of my 'Just to Say' cards which I'm doing for the tourists who are renting my holiday home in Qawra Malta for their holiday stays.

This one I did it for a very nice couple from UK who were staying in the last week of September. At the moment I have another three tourists from UK (Callington). They are staying till the Thursday of next week, and then, no more bookings, as yet. Have also reduced the pricing for the lower season too, as would like to at least a booking once a month. .. the weather is still beautiful, warm and sunny, yesterday was 30C in fact, so still hoping. Fingers crossed :)

Anyway on to my card, this time I decided to use one of my fave dies, the cutest owl die ever seen :) which was also a freebie in a magazine. Freebie papers as well, more die cuts and just one stamp, the sentiment one to finish it off. Very quick and simple indeed.

Was really pleased with the result.. now for my next one. Still don't know what I will be doing! Maybe will do an Autumn theme this time, since they came in October, it would be nice, will see !!

Autumn Colors

Hello everyone and a happy weekend to all. We are having beautiful warm sunny weather at the moment in Malta, just like Summer, and so I'm very happy because we got work related team activities on the beach, just the perfect weather :)

We will soon be on our way, so sharing my DT card for the new challenge that started today at

Crafty Friends Challenge

The theme this time is AUTUMN COLORS

For this challenge I was so lucky to choose an image from one of our sponsors and I chose this gorgeous image, Rain Boot Bugs from Bugaboo. I have of course colored it with my promarkers and then added beautiful DP from magazines and die cuts and a sentiment and a large bow to finish it off. Really pleased with how it turned out.

Ice Cream

Not really ice-cream time as we are in Autumn now, but this is the card that I made to give the tourists from Russia that were renting my Summer home for their holiday in Malta. Thought ice-cream and sea would be ideal for the card to remind them about Malta, and they loved it too :)

It was a very quick card, I just stamped the main ice-cream image using a stamp from Molly Blooms, which I colored with my promarkers. The beautiful summery background DP was in a magazine freebie and the sentiment is from a Crafter's Companion rubber stamp.

Just To Say ...

A lazy day today.. and very well deserved I must say too. Hubby is abroad for the week since Friday and so yesterday I saw me seeing four guests out from our holiday home, taking them to the airport, cleaning up the place, and seeing another two guests in all by myself  ... so was a really really busy day! To top it all, I locked myself out of the place and had to wait till my son got me the other key, so instead of waiting I rushed back home and we met half way, so I was in a real hassle! I was so shocked when I locked myself out that each time I had to go out for something, I double and triple checked that I had the key .. but luckily I still managed in time phew :)

Anyway, I thought that it would be nice to give my guests a card to wish them a safe flight back home and to thank them for having chosen my residence for their holiday in Malta, and so here is the one I did to give the guests from Italy last week. .. Being me, I did a completely different one to give out to the Russians yesterday, but I will share that in another post.

A very quick card, using just dies and one small bird stamp and a sentiment stamp. I decided to do it in monochrome and think it came out quite nice. They loved it in fact :)

Would like to enter it in the following challenges:

Monochrome

Hello everyone, hope you are enjoying your days lately and haven't been as busy as me :P I'm busy enjoying Summer whilst welcoming and seeing guests going. It is fun but of course tiring a bit too, but I love it. Everything is going fine so far, we had some fabulous reviews from guests and we also finished off the last of the rooms where we have the single beds and I furnished it with the colors blue and yellow with lots of butterflies and flowers :) It came out so nice, was really pleased. Today we saw two Italians leaving and four Russians checking in for a week. After these, we will have two English people coming for nine days and then the next ones will be also from England but in October, so for September we just have only three days not booked :) So pleased. Link to the residence on the sidebar by the way, if anyone is interested :)

Anyway, on to some card-making now and today I have a card with the theme

MONOCHROME

for the new challenge that started today at

Crafty Friends Challenge

For my card today I'm using this gorgeous image from one of our sponsors Angie's Digital Stamps, Horse With Foal, and I colored it with my promarkers in shades of greys. The background DP is an oldie, from Papermania, The Capsule Collection, and then I just added two card candy, two die cuts, the clouds and the gate and the sentiment to finish it off. I think it came out quite nice.

We have three sponsors this week, and these are

Anything Goes

Well finally I'm back and it's so nice too to be making cards again. I think it's been my longest break from blogging this time. Don't know if you've seen my previous post, but we were renovating our summer residence as we started renting it out. Finally it's all ready and we have even welcomed some guests too. Yesterday we saw five very nice people from Germany leaving, and tomorrow we get two more from Germany. I'm finding this really fun meeting new people from all over. We had from Italy, Peru, Ecuador and Germany so far.

Anyway, back to my card making and I really enjoyed myself making this card, especially more as I love Kenny K stamps so much.

This is my DT card for the new challenge that started today at

Crafty Friends Challenge Blog

and the theme for this fortnight is ANYTHING GOES. Just perfect for me as have been so long away that I thought I would find it difficult to get back, but I found it was so fun.

For my card I used the image Download Diva and I colored it with my promarkers, which I colored her top to match with the lovely background paper.

We have three wonderful sponsors this fortnight

Lacy Sunshine and the winner gets 3 digi stamps

Toadstool Printables also offering 3 digi stamps to the winner

Kenny K Stamps, also offering 3 digi stamps

So if you would like to be in the chance of winning one of these fabulous prizes, just make up a card and enter it in the Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

Hope to see you there.

Thank you for looking

Hugs
