Just a heads up for now on some candy alerts..

Peek-A-Boo

This is a card I made for a colleague of mine and she specifically wanted my peek-a-boo girl from Karen's Doodles. I of course was ever so pleased as I love my peek-a-boo babies..  :)))

For this card I coloured the stamp with my promarkers, used my papermania papers and followed this sketch

.. and I also for the first time tried my hand at making a flower. I was really pleased with the result and will definitely be making some more in the future :)))

And now I have some exciting news   :)))   ......... I was so excited today when I saw that my other Peek-A-Boo boy card won me the Card of the Week at Karen's Doodles Challenge Blog !!!! but that's not all....
I also won three digis as well... yipppeee !!! 

Keith and Top 3

Yesterday I had Kevin's Birthday Card, now I have Keith's Birthday Card, 'cos they both have their birthdays this month. Kevin's is at the end of this month but Keith's is today, and he will be 15.. wow I can't believe how they're growing up so quickly!!! This is the card I made for him. I chose this stamp 'cos he just loves listening to music!

The stamp was one of the monthly freebie stamps from Kenny K Downloads, which I coloured with my promarkers, and then for the background I used my Inkadinkadoo clear stamps. I really enjoyed making the background and thought I had gone a little overboard when I finished it, but then when I gave him the card, and saw the smile on his face, I was really pleased and knew it was just right :)))

Hi good morning!  Hope you are having a fabulous weekend. It's time for a new challenge at One Stitch At A Time and the theme this week is Embellish It, so a very easy one again this week.

 

I decided to do a male card this time as it's been some time since I did one and also because when I saw this stamp from Cardmad Fairy.... with the same name as my son.. Kevin, I just had to have him! For my embellishments I used some gems, punched stars and that gold Number 1 Cup which I had bought a long time ago. I did the football papers myself and then used my cuttlebug circles embossing folder.

Ho Ho Ho

A very quick card for me today .. and a quick post too as we are going out now for dinner with friends.... eating Chinese :))) Yum

For my card I used my Father Christmas stamp which I had bought last year from New Zealand and I followed this sketch from Fairymoon Crafts Challenge 31.

As soon as I saw this sketch I just remembered these ho ho ho papers I had and thought they were just right.
