A Sympathy Card

With hubby away today, I thought to share this Sympathy card that I made recently. I do not really like to make these type of cards, but I was asked to do it by a friend of mine as she wanted something different, and that it was for her friend whose child passed away, so I just couldn't refuse.

Anyway, this is what I came up with.

I found this beautiful angel stamp, which I colored with my promarkers, with my other stamped images and thought it would be very nice for what I needed. The sentiment I found it on the internet and printed it on my comp. It says... An angel opened the book of life and whispered, as she closed the book, too beautiful for earth.... So beautiful I think!
Just some peel offs then, ribbon, a bow and three flowers to finish it off.

I hope they liked it.

3 Patterned Papers

What a sad day today for Malta ... this morning the famous Azure Window in Gozo has collapsed into the sea and is no longer there. There is not even a trace of it and it's like it never existed : (

Experts had said that it will collapse in six or so years, so everyone is so shocked by this as we were not expecting it so soon! The Azure Window was one of the world's most famous landmarks attracting many tourists and also featured in many films, like the Clash of the Titans, Odyssey, The Count of Monte Cristo and also lately in the Game of Thrones! Nothing could have been done to avoid this unfortunately! That's me last year, so glad we went!

Anyway, I have a DT card to share today for the new challenge that started today at

I can tell you it wasn't an easy one for me, in fact I think my card is not one of my best, but at least the image is really cute and makes up for this :)

The image is Cupid Balloon Holder from our sponsor Eureka Stamps and I colored him with my promarkers. I used again my new sentiment die cuts and finished it off with a bow, three hearts embellishments and a corner die cut.

Anything Goes

Hello everyone and again I'm late with my DT Card this week :/ ... It's filming time this week for the movie Murder on the Orient Express starring Johnny Depp so I've been waking up at 4.00am to be there at 5.00am and returning back home at about 6.00pm!!! So very very tiring, but at least it's fun, I'm doing something different from the usual work routine and I get to meet lots of people and making friends. Unfortunately we didn't get to see Johnny Depp boo hoo :( :( as the scene they are filming here is near the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem and he wasn't there, but at least we got to see another famous actor, Kenneth Branagh yea yea :) (from the film Harry Potter), who is also directing the film. I'm a muslim, having a blue long veil, so when you are watching the film, just remember that I am in that scene and keep a look out for me too ha ha

Anyway, let's get on to my DT Card and this time it's for the new

This month our lovely DT Sharon will be sponsoring the challenge and is offering a stamp as a prize to the lucky winner so we are all using one of our favourite stamps.

I can tell you it was very difficult to choose a stamp as I have so many that I like, so in the end I decided on a stamp from Kenny as I just love them all, and also as I had just did this card and being so tight on time lately it fit perfectly for the theme.

Have colored the image with my promarkers, digi paper for the background, happy birthday sentiment and then added some die cuts to finish it off. ... John just loves gadgets and TV and computers, so he he this guy was just right for him.

All That Glitters

Hello and a happy Sunday to all. I hope you are having a nice weekend. The weather here is not so sunny, but ok, so we didn't go out as usual. Lucky me as I still had to post my DT card... that I should have posted yesterday!!! Yes another late card this week.... :(

Anyway, as I was saying, I have another DT Card today and this time it's for the new challenge that started yesterday at

You really can't see the glitters on my card, but it's there on her hair and on the flowers. It's so difficult to capture the glitters on the photo!

For an image I am using this boootiful :) image from our wonderful sponsor Sherri Baldy, My Besties and I colored her with my promarkers. Background DP is from the Floral Prints paper pack by DCWV and the white border on the side is a Martha Stewart punch.

It's Almost Spring

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a nice weekend. I'm a bit late this week with my DT Card, sorry. I've had a very very busy week. It was hubby's birthday last Wednesday, and since it was his 50th birthday, we went for a night at a hotel. At first we weren't going to do anything special, with all the expenses we have with the new house, but then on the last minute we decided to do this! Besides that, we again went to see more kitchens, I had to go for the costume fitting for my upcoming working as EXTRA in the film Murder on the Orient Express, and then yesterday it was Carnival party time. This year I didn't prepare anything to wear, so at the last minute, on the day of the party, I was fixing up my costume!!! Waaaah :P .. So what I did I found an old skirt of mine, the top from another costume, scarfs to which I attached some fun embellishments and hey ho I got a gypsy costume ha ha .. here's me yesterday with my friends at the party. I think it came out ok!!

I colored the cute doggie from the Dog Tales set with my promarkers and then I had loads of fun finishing off my card with many die cuts. The sun and rainbow ones are new ones which i got recently. I really love how it turned out.

Polka Dots

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all doing fine. I've just returned from work and with nobody home yet I headed straight to my comp to post my DT card for this week's new challenge. ... but before that ....

I GOT SOME FANTASTIC NEWS ...

There's another BIG movie going to be filmed here in Malta next month, Murder On the Orient Express, starring Johnny Depp and guess what !!!! they called me to work as an extra :D :D

There was a call for extras some time ago but I didn't apply as I didn't feel like waiting in the long queue but apparently they need a lot of extras, with long uncolored hair, so, me being in their database already, as I was an extra previously, and fitting the required look, they called me asking me if I wanted to work as an extra again...... Of course I did I said!! Now next week I have the costume fitting and the week after it's filming.. Yippeee I can't wait woo hoo :)

I still am so excited of all this but back to my card now and as I was saying today I have my DT Card for the new challenge that started today at

A really fun challenge I think. This is what I did!

The image that I am using is Fashion Girl from another amazing sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps.

I colored the image with my promarkers, then of course polka dots background paper and lots of fun stuff to finish it off. The bottom buildings image is recycled from a local booklet. I think it came out real nice :) Love it.
