A Baby Boy

Hello, good afternoon everyone. I hope you had a lovely weekend. Mine was really nice as on Saturday evening we went out for dinner with Pamela and her husband Bill and then on Sunday we took them to Gozo for the day. Here we also met Lorraine for a coffee in Victoria.. actually two coffees as then she invited us over for another afternoon coffee at her place. . We have of course talked non stop and Pam plans to come again next year, and me and Lorraine plan to meet up again in Malta to go to a craft shop here. Will be so looking forward to both :)

Anyway, it was back to work today and I thought I would share this card I made for the Christening of a little baby boy.

For my card I decided to use one of my favourite stamps from Lili of the Valley and colored it with my promarkers. Kept it as clean and fresh as possible, so just adding some embossing, ribbon, buttons, die cut rattle and a piece of DP from my Forever Friends paper pack.

Make Your Own Flowers

Still working long hours at the moment, and today to make it worse, I found an awful surprise when I went to my car :( .. someone crashed into it, and of course left :( I'm really annoyed :(

Anyway today it's Wednesday again, supposed to be my favorite day of the week as I share my DT card for the challenge at 

I ♥ Promarkers

The theme for this week is

MAKE YOUR OWN FLOWERS

For the flowers I decided to use my Marianne Creatables die and made some roses. It's been some time since I used this die... sometimes we buy new stuff and forget the oldies, which are still so nice I think. 

The leaves are a Martha Stewart punch, DP was a magazine freebie, border dies are Cheery Lynn and I did the bottom embossing with my hougie board. The border embossing is a Sizzix one.

We were so lucky this week to be sponsored by Pink Gem Designs as each of us DT girls got to choose an image to play with. The one I chose is this gorgeous vintage stamp, Amelia. 

The prize for the winner this week is 3 digis of their choice.

Tatty Teddy Bear

I was asked by a colleague of mine to make a card with the Tatty Teddy Bear for her daughter's birthday. She wanted the colors pink and purple as well, love these, and this is what I came up with.

I was really pleased how it turned out.. the flowers border is Memory Box, DP Wild Rose Studio, flowers were a freebie and finished it off with some ribbon, gems, glitter on the flower and a butterfly to hide a boo boo on the image!

Anything Goes

Ufff another long day at the office today!! It's that time of the year when we close our financial year and we have the auditors at our offices, which I just don't like. For my card this time I got to use this gorgeous stamp, Sent With Love, from our sponsor Inky Impressions. Immediately as I saw it I wanted to use my Envelope Sentiments Clear Stamps from Simon Says which I had bought some time ago and then I remembered this DP that I've had for a very long time. .. I thought it would be perfect to use with it! To finish it off I used one of my corner dies and some twine. The star die is from Sizzix. I love how it turned out.

Twins

Good morning everyone, I hope you are having a good week. It's raining time here and next Monday school starts again, so not looking forward to all the traffic that all this brings... but all good things have to come to an end, so I make up for this with card-making :) 

This is a card I made using one of my lovely stamps from Lili of the Valley.

I colored image with my promarkers.. and if you look closer you can see where I put down their names.. I had this idea since the babies' names were very short. I finished off the scales with some glossy accents too. 

To do the flowers I used my Impression Obsession die, the border die is Crafty Sentiments and the leaves dies are Marianne Creatables. The gorgeous glittered background paper is from a Forever Friends paper pack and the sentiment is also Lili Of the Valley.

Three Different Shapes

What a long day today! I've only returned home half an hour ago and now I'll be out again in, hope in less than fifteen minutes as otherwise I will be late for the Bokwa class!!!

Our Wedding

Hello good morning everyone. Happy Sunday to all. I've been out for an early one hour jog this morning and loved it. I had stopped doing this when I started the Bokwa classes but lately I haven't been going as much to Bokwa so I thought to start again the morning jog, hoping to keep it up.

So now I'm blogging and sharing this card I made for a friend. She wanted to give a card to her future husband, using the lilac color as her bridesmaids dresses.

This is what I came up with after some thought...

... a clean one since it was going to be given to a man.. I just used my Marianne Creatables bride and groom die, some forgotten peel-offs and the flower from the invitation... thought I could get away with it, even it is for a male, since it was from the invitation!! The background paper is actually a vellum one which I stuck from the sides.

Use More Than One Image

It rained here as predicted and even last night, but not that much.. just enough to dirty my car and windows too :( The weather is just a little bit cooler but still warm and sticky!!

Get Well Soon

It looks like Summer will soon be over, much earlier than I expected, as yesterday and today it rained a bit and rain is predicted for tomorrow as well. It still is warm at 29C, but we decided not to go to the beach this weekend and so today I spent most of the day in my craft room, tidying it up, and then of course when I finished I spent some time card making as well... Such a lovely day ....

So now I'm sharing this card ... that's right I'm blogging too ! .. looks like it won't be long too before I start hopping all over blogland again he he :) 

For my card I used this cute image from Lili Of the Valley which I colored with my promarkers and the papers, plaster and doctor's bag are from a Nitwit's digi pack. I printed the sentiment and finished it off with the striped washi paper which I had got from SimonSays, a bow and card candi.

I really love how it turned out.
